I have been going to Dr. Holcomb at Montezuma Veterinary for two years. Throughout my life I have always had two or three dogs and a cat or two at any given time for their entire lives. I am totally committed to my fur babies and provide the best medical care I can. After moving to the area several years ago, I tried three other vets and I was not satisfied. I have been extraordinarily happy and satisfied with all of the medical treatment provided by Dr. Holcomb and her staff. The pricing is reasonable and everyone has been quite loving and respectful to my animals and to me. There is another posting here where someone is negatively obsessing about his experience and apparently seeking revenge by his statements, which says more about him than it does the vet. Perhaps, for some reason on that date he did not receive the treatment he hoped for; there could be many reasons, including his perception. Dr. Holcombs level of expertise and compassion she displayed when I lost my beloved senior, Murphy, a year ago was all anyone could hope for during such a difficult time. I give this vet a 100% approval and I would go no where else.

I have enjoyed the vets and staff at the front desk. We have been at this location since Dr Proper was there. Unfortunately the wait time with an appt is painful. Often and I mean most of the time my husband and I wait in the exam room from 30-45 minutes before actually seeing the vet. This is stressful on our dogs and on us. If they ever get this piece turned around I would gladly improve the review rating.

By far, the best weve experienced in pet patient followup care. From the doctors to the techs and receptionists, everyone we dealt with at Montezuma Vet Services was not just compassionate, but thorough, helpful, knowledgeable and patient with our many questions after the visit. Every vet practice should strive to be so good.

Four cats taken to Dr. Proper... four dead cats. He misdiagnosed a simple wheat allergy in our terrier (very, very, very common, come to find out) as the mange... I shudder to think how he would have diagnosed our diabetic cat. No animal deserves treatment at his hands.

Dr. Lana is AMAZING! So compassionate and concerned for the animals. She makes sure I completely understand what my dogs condition is and how treatment will commence and keeps me involved in each step. I always know my dog is in the best hands. Highly recommended!
