Petersen Physical Therapy was a great clinic! I went 3x per week for 6 weeks to help restore my strength and range of motion from a broken humerus, and every time I went, everyone was very upbeat and friendly and personable. The employees all seem to enjoy their jobs, from the PTs and PTAs right down to the techs. More importantly, Im a lot better off than I was before. Obviously no clinic can be expected to get you back to 100% in such a short time period, but Id say they got me back to 70%, and I feel very comfortable continuing my exercises on my own at home as I work toward 100%. What was especially great was that I could stay as long as I needed to get everything done. Ive been to PT before, and most of the time it felt like I had to be done in an hour; but at Petersen, I was often there for 90 minutes or even 2 hours - however long I needed. And every single time, the PT or PTA would spend a good 20 minutes either stretching me out or giving me a deep muscle massage. I feel like that really helped accelerate my recovery. I think the only thing that couldve been better would have been more direct attention throughout my exercises. If they happened to notice me doing something wrong, theyd correct me, but often times I felt like they werent paying much attention to my form since they were busy with other patients. But maybe thats just what happens when theres more patients than employees.

My primary care physician recommended me PT for Plantar Fasciitis and I started to work with Petersen PT, Tempe by the end of January. At that time I had sever problems doing first steps in the morning, I was not able to run or hike, and I could barely walk longer distances. Although my heel pain tends to reappear after long periods of standing, my condition significantly improved. I am now not only able to step down in the morning without being afraid to fall, but I can hike and walk nearly pain free. A first session of dry needling, last Friday, caused another leap forward in my therapy. Indeed, although I was on long hike on Saturday, and I’ve done a lot of work at home today, I still can walk as if I never had a heel issue. Moreover, members of Petersen PT are not only professional; they also work as a competent, and very efficient team, in an inviting and very friendly atmosphere.

I have had 5 surgeries that involved post-procedure physical therapy, and have been served by four different providers. Petersen Physical Therapy by far stands out at the best. Their people are all knowledgeable and friendly. They interact well with patients, and, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, they still have a collective sense of humor that makes my regular sessions so much more enjoyable. They push me quite hard, but also know my personal limits and respect them. Since my most recent total knee replacement/revision, my range of motion continues to improve steadily, and my pain levels are also subsiding significantly.. I hope you can tell that I think very highly of this wonderful team!

My experience at this facility has been wonderful. Christine, Courtney, Mike and Rini are are unfailingly upbeat, positive and compassionate. I have the utmost faith in their knowledge and skills. There is discomfort and hard work involved but I enjoy the time I spend there simply because they are so great. I have made tremendous progress during my therapy and it is completely the result of their expertise and encouragement. Even though there were other homes that were more ideal I selected my present home based on its proximity to this facility because I did not want to change therapists. I cant say it any plainer than that. They are the absolute best!!!

I fell on a wet sidewalk and tore the quadracep tendon completely off the bone in my left knee. I had surgery in Logan Ut and after that I went to physical therapy 66 times, yes 66. I went to PT 34 times in Ut, 13 times at the other Maricopa PT (Pinnacle) which I was extremely dissatisfied with so I started going to Peterson, 19 times. They are great group of people to work with, they enjoy their work and they have fun helping people recover from their accidents and surgeries. So yes I highly recommend them to anyone who needs PT help. They are truly a 5 star organization. Harold Humphreys and I live in Province.

The team at Petersen Physical Therapy Tempe is amazing! They are always on time, encouraging, and highly knowledgable about the exercises and activities that are contributing to my improved health. I fractured my right arm (the one I really need!), and my healing process and range of motion have improved tremendously in a very short time working with these health professionals. Hailey (I hope Im spelling that right!) is extremely competent, upbeat, and personable and helps me stay on track. Everyone on the team demonstrates a high degree of engagement and care for client success. I could not be in better hands.

I am currently being seen at Petersen Physical Therapy (Tempe) after having an ORIF on my knee. After originally being referred to another PT group, I chose Petersen for their Saturday hours -which I found not many in my area offer. Their office has always been clean and seems well taken care. The staff is very friendly and always encouraging. I have seen significant progress in my recovery both mentally and physically since being here. If you are looking for a convenient, flexible, caring, knowledgeable group I would recommend Petersen.

My experience here has been amazing. I herniated my L4/L5 disc last year and after dealing with it for around a year I started physical therapy and have seen huge improvements in just one month. My sciatic nerve pain is gone, back pain is significantly decreased, and I can finally do normal activities without pain. I forget I have the injury quite often now - its that much better. Christine and the rest of the staff have got me on a program that has got me recovering much more quickly than I could have hoped.

I have been to several physical therapy places, this is by far the most professional and caring staff. I have a condition with my central nervous system, they have developed and encouraged an improvement and stabilization plan that helps both with my pain and coordination. I always enjoy going for my session and always feel better when I leave. I would recommend to anyone

I have had to go to Petersens on 2 different occasions for my knees and then my hips. Recently my doctor suggested a place for PT for my shoulders. I said no I have a place that I love. So here I am again at Petersens. Its a fun place even when you are doing exercises that you dont want to be doing! Keep up the great work yall! Love you guys! BLESSINGS

At Peterson Physical Therapy, I received excellent help for the soft tissue problems in my neck and upper back. The home exercises are easy to do and I found the combination of therapy and home exercise to be a powerful change agent to improve my symptoms. The staff are friendly, client focused and ready to assist whenever needed.

I have been going to the Petersen Physical Therapy in Maricopa. This posting is under my husbands name, who has in the past had physical therapy there. The experience I have had since December has been great. I have improved and am up to 80% usage of my arm without pain. The staff are delightful and extremely helpful.
