Came in to get my Crown looked at because it was bothering me.(was put in at Western Dental in Watsonville. :( ) All very friendly, easy to talk to the receptionist and the nurse. Of course Dr. Perkins was also very nice, easy to talk to, and didnt make me feel stupid, like Western Dental had before. Explained that WD had pretty much messed up the crown; they didnt fit it properly and there is a gap for debris and bateria to get in; and I was having a reaction to the metal that may have nickel in it. Explained the replacement of the crown would only take one visit, it wouldny have any metal in it and itll be 3D printed for a almost perfect fit and I wont have to have a temp crown. Im actually a little excited. Also getting three old childhood silver fillings that may crack my teeth, replaced with newer fillings that will match my teeth and not expand when eating or drinking something hot. Also will only take one visit, but separate from the Crown visit. Would highly recommend Dr. Perkins to anyone looking for a friendly, gentle, (and better experience) easy to talk to Dentist.

Jeffs natural and studied skill inspires my confidence. In 2000 and 2001 he replaced 41 years of accumulated amalgam fillings with composites. IHe was able to explain and show me the wisdom in that. I have been grateful for that since and have had no issues with any of that work. Fast forward 12 years; I live in San Diego area and fell into the trap of having economy dental work done in Tijuana. 3 years later, Im haveing issues with that work and knew exactly what to do about it. Jeff is sorting it out sensibly and Im getting back confidence ifor the long term health of my teeth and mouth. This sounds like Im writing an infomercial but in my experience I have no complaints and only accolades. Hes a conscientious craftsmen, has a strong understanding of structural mechanics and is committed to using top shelf technology. That all matters a lot to me. In closing, his staff are very sharp professionals and they come across as being strongly committed to working well and efficiently together.

I am so impressed with Dr. Perkins and his knowledgeable staff. They were able to fit me in last minute for a consultation and same day cleaning. During the consolation, I was walked through the 3D images of my teeth, jaw, and skull. It was nice to have a dentist be so thorough and go through in detail why he looks at certain areas and sinuses in the skull and jaw. It was a great! When it came to the cleaning, Ana was very friendly and professional, my teeth felt and looked great afterward. I have very sensitive teeth, so much so that I cant even drink cold water. They were very accommodating and did everything in their power to ensure I was comfortable. In addition to the cleaning and consultation, Dr. Perkins fit me in that same afternoon to seal my teeth! Thank you Dr. Perkins and team, I really appreciate your care! I highly recommend Aptos Dental Care!

This review is for the customer service not the actual dentist it self. My appointments were scheduled out months away which I found inconvenient but understanding. When making an appointment for my son I informed the receptionists that I did not want to have an X-ray on my son (9 year old) and she told me they wouldnt even give him a cleaning without an X-ray which I found odd and sure it wasnt necessary. I called another dentist more near my home to find out an X-ray was not necessary. I just felt like I was a bother and thats not good customer service.

Dr. Perkins and amazing staff really know how to connect with the patient. I always enjoy my visits to the dentist office!! I feel the work is always top notch. Dr. Perkins goes out of his way to explain exactly what is happening with my teeth and what the procedure will consist of, and his staff go out of their way to put me at ease and almost make me forget why I am there!! This is how dentistry should be - as close as a day at the beach will ever be in a dental chair!!

Dr. Perkins and his team are amazing. I have a huge fear of needles and they make a point to make me feel comfortable when I need a shot. They are extremely sensitive to my needs and they make my experience manageable. The hygienists and assistants are super sweet and professional. Not only was I quoted a much lower price for needed dental work, he actually went over every single tooth in my mouth and let me know what was going on with. He used a device that had a camera and screen. I was totally aware of every single tooth in my mouth My other get asked would just tell me I needed this and that not really explain it

Most people hate the dentist... But I love mine!!! Everyone is always in a good mood and happy to see you. The assistants are accommodating and make you feel very comfortable. I had multiple traumatic experiences at the dentist as a child and since seeing Dr. Perkins, my faith has been restored as well as my smile!

Had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, drove myself home afterward and already eating regular food today without any pain. Letting people shove metal rods in your mouth will never be a fun experience but these guys do it quick and painless. Next time I want to get some teeth pulled Ill come here.
