My 6 month old chihuahua/jack russell mix got spayed here yesterday and everything went smoothly. We dropped her off in the morning, spoke briefly with a vet tech, and then called to check on her at 3. The staff was very helpful and the total cost (with pain meds sent home) was actually less than we were quoted a few months ago when we were deciding on a vet (for reference: I paid just over 200 when the other clinics/vets in the area quoted at least 400-500). My dog is doing great today and the pain medication they sent us home with is just enough to keep her comfortable but not completely out of her element. Her incision is ~2 inches long and has 4 stitches which are very neat and clean. Her shaved tummy looks quite silly, but her stitches do not seem to bother her at all. The staff was very helpful, the work was done well, and the cost was fair. I highly recommend bringing your pup/cat here for any medical procedures.

These guys rock. My golden retriever had some pretty bad stomach issues as a pup and they were there for me every time I needed something. Customer service really shines, Id call in with concerns and theyd spend 45 min on the phone with me explaining a new diet I should try, etc. When I call and mention my dog "truckee", they know exactly who Im talking about and his full history. I just moved to Oregon and called them for a flea/tic prescription and they had no problems helping me. Even though they know I wont be back since I moved to Oregon, they still treat me like a customer. Awesome vet!! Hope to find one in Oregon like them.

Midtown was highly recommended by my neighbors, so I drive a little longer than I need to just to see them. The veterinarians are super nice. Instead of recommending a dental for my cat, the vet just scrapped off some tartar with her fingernail and called it good. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but the front desk staff could use some improvements. They incorrectly scheduled my appointment, however, they managed to squeeze my cat in (not me) for her annual exam. The front desk staff could also be a little nicer. Maybe theyre just too stressed; it can get pretty busy in there and quite loud.

I was taking my cat Sara, in a pet , tied to bicycle rack, when I got there rack broke and cat did #1 #2 inside pet carrier. I was outside Midtown s door, but called and explain I was outside but too embarrassed to bring soiled Sara in . She replied " bring her in, were gonna wash her up and give immunizations anyways". Wow what a outstanding caring place. Definitely 5 stars.

I was at first really disappointed with the service at Midtown Vet, but they helped make sure I had a good experience. They are a very busy clinic so you need to really advocate to get the kind of care you need, but they have a lot to offer.

Staff decided that since I missed an appointment I couldnt be a client anymore. Another woman I talked to recalls being verbally harassed on multiple occasions by the staff. So theyre great... until theyre not. Good luck.

These vets know their stuff and dont go out of their way to charge you for unnecessary services, like teeth that dont need to be pulled. I trust them with my two cockapoos, even though I live over in Sacramento.

Ive tried other vets since moving away from Davis, but they just werent as good. Pricing was fair for surgeries and usually came in under what we were quoted. Really compassionate and intelligent staff.

The doctors, vet techs and staff are all terrific. They really care about your pets. Dr. Coil is my favorite; she is so good with my dog and practical in her treatment approaches.
