I do not believe you cared for Maya in a timely manner, nor did you at least prepare me for her death. I find it extremely hard to believe you did not know how sick she was. If you are really trained as a veterinary, you should have known by Maya’s vital signs that she was in her death bed. Instead, you called me two hours before Maya passed to ask if I wanted Maya’s nails clipped; that you noticed Maya was having a hard time standing up. I have to tell you that by the time I brought Maya to your office, she was not able to stand up. I had to carry her from my house to my car and from my car to your office. She was barely moving and you should have known how sick she was. So you see, your story about her standing up in the reception area doesn’t jibe with what I know and the only thing I can think of is that you were trying to make one more buck out of a pet you knew was not going to make it. .Furthermore, you also asked me to come to your office to give you a down payment for Maya’s care. If I was not able to come right away was because I too was undergoing testing, but I did ask you to treat Maya. I believe you chose not to out of concern that I would not pay for her care. You must be very stupidly retarded or a complete moron. Your action is unbelievable and unpardonable!!

Our English Bulldog became super sick on a Friday evening. Our normal vet (which I wont even list here) did not answer our calls and referred us by answering machine message to an emergency vet hospital. That vet charged us nearly $800 just to hold him overnight and give IV fluids. By Saturday morning we were at our wits end and Arley was SO SICK! Caring Pet Hospital was the only veterinary service in the east bay that was willing to help Arley for less than $3000 on a weekend day. The emergency vet was SO expensive that we had no choice but to discharge him. We took him to Caring Pet Hosiptal and they literally saved his life! He had swallowed a super ball and was suffering from a complete intestinal blockage. If Dr. Mangat had not performed surgery on Saturday afternoon, Arley would most certainly have died. We are so grateful for the help Caring Pet Hospital was willing to give us on Saturday. And the price was less than half what we would have paid at the emergency vet. Arley is fully recovered and doing great. We owe Dr. Mangat for his caring attention one of our family members. We love Arley and would be lost without him!

to my surprise when I called this office at 2:50pm (they closed at 3pm) and the doctor agreed to stay and wait for me to see my dog I was shocked yet very thankful. Upon arriving at the office the staff was extremely kind and caring. After examine my dog the vet prescribed some antibiotics and also gave her an injection of the antiobiotics to start off with just to help her start feeling better sooner. That along with staying after normal business hours just to see my dog was worth all 5 stars I would give 10 stars if I could. I was initially referred to this vet by my mother in law and she has always had nothing but great things to say about this vet office and now I can see why. The prices are extremely reasonable, the staff is very kind and really care about the well being of your pet. Now my dog is better then ever and back to her happy playful self. I would recommend this vet to everyone I know ghey are terrific.

One of my cats died last year -- we came home from a long vacation and it turned out our little one decided wed never come back and stopped eating. We rushed him to the clinic and the doc did what he could, but our poor kitty didnt last much longer. The doc called us right away, and as we werent really in a mood to talk from grief, he knew we couldnt really be intelligent about anything. The next day I called - the doc offered to let us come in and see him or just have him cremated and sent to a pet cemetery at no charge (since we didnt want a grave or anything). Very nice and gentle, considering how we felt.

Dr. Mangat has taken care of our cats for several years. Even our grumpy cat is very well behaved for the doctor. They are always good about explaining fees and during procedures they dont lump everything into a package, they ask what kind of pain treatment you want and tell you if something is recommended or beneficial but not necessary. He is a very nice man and I would definitely recommend him! Now that we have added a dog to our menagerie I have seen he is just as good with canines too!

I Really like this hospital. Dr Mangat really cares about animals and his prices are reasonable. We have been taking Tyson to Dr Mangat ever since he saved my friends Dog Willy he was really sick and needed surgery and Dr Mangat took Bart out to Hayward to see Willy urgently! If thats not dedication of being I dont know what kind of Dr would do that he is a kind person give him a call and book an appointment for your pet or walk ins are welcome till 3:00pm check it out. Im glad I did

I just gotten a puppy chihuahua about 5 months old and I used a flea treatment the kind you squeeze on their neck and I used to much. My Stonie was drooling and incoherent and was in grave danger.she was just a baby I looked thru the phone book and found Dr manget. And he saved her life. I love my pet vet!!!!!!!!!
