I first visited Dr. Costigan at San Marin Dental with an infected tooth. I was worried and afraid. Also embarassed at having neglected my teeth for so long. Dr. Costigan healed the infection with antibiotics, pulled the tooth, installed a bridge and worked on my sadly neglected gums. Now I am a regular patient at San Marin Dental, going in for cleanings and checkups according to a schedule. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Costigan saved my life; she may well be the greatest dentist on Planet Earth. I also really like the team at San Marin Dental. They are all very nice. Also, efficient and fast. Good people!

This is a great dental office. Dr. Sun is amazing at what she does. The entire staff is friendly and personable. After six months I went in for a check up, and they remembered exactly where I left off, and asked about my progress in school. Dr. Sun even walked outside to say one more last friendly goodbye before I got into my car. Overall, I highly recommend San Marin Dental and Dr. Sun.

Dr. Costigan really cares about her patients and her work. Dr. Costigan and her assistant does everything possible to insure a painfree experience. They dont hesitate in taking extra time to explain procedures and educate. Her staff is also an integral part of the wonderful equation. They, too, respond very efficiently to questions or issues with a smile.

I have been going to Dr. Sun for 15 years and highly recommend her. She really has a gentle touch and for someone who was terrified of dentists that was, and is, very important. I moved away and went to a dentist where I live but I was spoiled so now I come back to Petaluma to see Dr. Sun.

Be careful!!!!! First they will tell you everything is covered by your insurance but then after a month you will get a letter with pending balance. It happened with me twice although I asked them several times about any out of pocket charges. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Even though the website says that this office does teeth whitening in office by laser, they do not actually offer this service. They only offer the whitening trays.
