I was really impressed with this place - the people, the treatment, the technology and downtown location. The stand-out factor for me was how they went above and beyond to see me twice in two days with no appointment. I made an urgent call due to a throbbing upper tooth a few days prior to international travel. Keep in mind I was not even an existing patient of theirs. Having never used American dental care before (new immigrant from Ireland), I had heard a lot of horror stories about US healthcare. Thankfully the team were the total opposite of my expectations from the front door to the dreaded dental chair and back out again - fab in every way. I came in twice in two days. The first day with about 3 hours notice to them and after a full exam, the likely diagnosis was made (cavity), plus other minor issues (if handled soon) to do with my gums that I was blissfully unaware of. The second day the cavity was banished! When a dentist (Dr Mahmoodi) offers up her lunch hour to get you in, it says a lot about dedication to patient care. Patty, Aly and Jennifer on the front desk were so friendly and patient with me and my many questions. It seemed like a social and fun place to work, all were upbeat and chatty with staff and patients alike. Complimentary teas and wifi await too, with the typical pesky client forms dentists make you fill out actually on an iPad, making it far quicker. Dr Mahmoodi is clearly an expert as was her lovely colleague assistant Maria. Despite having to give me 2-3 times the anaesthetic to prep me for a filling (for some reason it always take more for me), there was no irritation on their part. I can honestly say it was the most relaxing dental work Ive ever had done. No pain during it and they even had noise cancelling wireless headphones for me to wear tuned to whatever I wanted on Spotify or Pandora. A real gem of a place. Top marks from me. Now I question which is better - Irish or American dental care?!

In short, amazing quality dental care and service above and beyond expectations. Ten stars for sure. I had a dental emergency near the closing time of many dental clinics, unable to book a dentist for an assessment. Im a Japanese citizen traveling through the area and was also worried because I heard dental is very expensive in the US, and wasnt sure if my insurance would cover it. To top it off Im not even a patient at this clinic. Ally at the reception desk told me to come in even though it was right at closing time, then a very kind and careful technician took my x-rays (sorry I didnt catch her name...). Then the dentist Mona came in and was very professional and patient trying different methods to find the issue even though it was now well past closing time. It came down to two possible diagnoses, with the cheaper path requiring an ENT checkup for sinus infection. Ally went above and beyond by calling to check about my travel insurance, accepting my travel insurance when I was expecting to pay, and then printing out a list of all nearby ENTs covered under my policy! Just amazing. I also noticed they use digital forms for accepting new patients and have good scrubs that fit well and have nice pockets (observation by my wife who was a vet tech). Keep up the good work!

Dr Mona Mahmoodi and her staff have been excellent in all areas of service. I like the text reminders of dental appointments and the office is always welcoming. Dr Mahmoodi is an exemplary dentist and I would not hesitate to recommend Park Plaza Dental.
