Two Stars: Below Average Favorable: Convenient, new, and very clean. The physician was friendly, professional and recommendations were consistent with guidelines for the presenting problem. Negative: Given the high quality of care provided by other area clinics such as Little Company of Mary, I would probably be reluctant to return. The technician wrote my presenting problem incorrectly. My medications were also written incorrectly on the chart (not even a close approximation and not in the same class of medications or correct in number of medications). The physician said that this was typical everywhere these days because people do not speak English and even experienced nurses and medical technicians do not know how to spell medical terms. The physician verified and hopefully corrected the information. The computers went down. I will need to return for paperwork. The physician kindly offered to handwrite the information, but my FSA is a bit picky about documentation. Perhaps the clinic will improve in time. For now, read and verify all information very carefully with the physician.

I have been to this clinic about 10 times, never had a problem with anyone not knowing English. Prices are reasonable - cant find places that charge much less than $100/visit if you have an HSA high deductible insurance, or no insurance. Staff is professional. I never had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seen, usually its under 10 minutes. When they call you, they take your weight, bp, hr, and temp, then ask for symptoms. They show you to a room. The doc walks in confirming what is wrong, instead of asking again like they do everywhere else. The doc looks for the cheapest meds - generic or whatever. Great for HSA. Those who are covered 100% should do the same to lower costs for the rest of us. When I leave, the staff always tells me they hope I feel better, first time I got that in a clinic. And sometimes they call and ask if I am feeling better and if the meds are working. Very nice

Excellent friendly service. My husband and I stopped by for travel vaccinations. We walked in without an appointment at 12PM on a Monday and 40 minutes later I had my temperature checked. Belinda took our vitals and I appreciate her strict attention to detail when filling out our Yellow Card information. Misinformation can lead to being held quarantine. Yellow Fever is considered an exotic vaccination and is not covered by health insurance. Its about $200 here with a $35 consulting fee. I received their tdap (tetanus) shot for $65 and they prescribed Typhoid pills that I picked up at CVS (within a mile distance.) I chose Typhoid pills over the shot as the pills will last for 5 years, the shot for 3. Dr. Neyda Brodnansky provided wonderful consultation and answered all questions we had related to receiving travel vaccines. Clean waiting room, staff are clearly happy to be there.

This place is nothing but a money machine. They do not give a damn about patients. Its all about the $. Walked in told them I was a cash patient, they asked to HOLD my ID and credit card. Felt like I was as at a Bar. Paid over $100 for them to tell me take Advil and over the counter sprays. There are better clinics and urgent cares out there. This one is just looking for cash to pay the expensive Playa Vista rent. Avoid this place and go someplace where they CARE about their patients. I will continue to spread the word to every blog and site out there.

Great facility! I went in for an ear infection. Had to wait just a bit after I arrived, but that was understandable. Dr. Matthews was awesome! She was very courteous and helpful with all of my questions. She even emailed the pharmacy my prescriptions. (Must be the thing to do now these days) Staff was very professional and even called me a couple of days later to see how I was doing! Would definitely go back there. But hopefully I wont have to. :-)

LOVE the medical center. HATED the DR. (Dr. Leaf) that saw my son. The most dismissive experience I think Ive ever had with a doctor. I was trying my best to describe the pain in my 10 year olds side because he really didnt have the energy and he said all he needed was some Tylenol. Even as I was asking more questions, he was halfway out the door and said my son looked fine. He saw him for less than 5 minutes. Horrible.

It gets the job done. And, you can fill out some paperwork ahead of time to let them know youre coming in. We did that before we came here but there was still a little bit of a wait over the weekend. I guess a lot of people needed to be seen. It gets busy. There are plenty of seats to wait until youre called. And, pinkberry as well as coffee bean are next door. Free parking

Playa vista was not upfront about their costs. I was never told I would be charged such a large amount. I was charged a large amount for the visit but was never given information about the extra costs or rate I was charged. If you have a high deductible make sure they explain what you will actually be charged instead of hiding it from you.

I was hesitant to try Urgent Care again after having a bad experience at the other Playa Vista location. So glad I came to this place. I came in with an ear infection on a weekend and it was the easiest experience with nice facilities. Dr. Joseph is great! I will choose to come here if I need care in the future.

Ive been here twice and had great experiences both times. The staff is helpful and friendly. I was in and out in less than an hour, and that was with a few people ahead of me. I was treated by Dr. Joseph, and his bed side manner is wonderful! Its nice to be treated by caring people when you arent feeling well!

The receptionist is completely rude with a huge attitude problem. Maybe she was having a bad day? No.. looking at other reviews her rudeness seems to be consistent across the board. Having insurance means nothing because she wont even look up your info and instead just tell you to pay the full price visit

My son-in-law went in with severe back strain. Doctor spent less than 5 minutes with him. Said he didnt need a shot. Prescribed 2 pain meds. No muscle relaxer. Pain continued to get worse. Had to cancel trip to Europe and now were on our way to a different, hopefully better physician and urgent care.

Patsy McDermott, M.D was amazing as well as the front desk (I believe her name is Monica) They took great care of me making me feel better before taking any medication at all. Thank you for being fast and efficient! I have already told everyone that is sick to go your way!

Very fast walk in service. Friendly staff. Four visits with two different MDs (not NPs) who took their time. Because it is a clinic they focused on my specific concern and left my history out of our meetings. Seems to employ pretty basic equipment (ie NOT state of the art)

The doctors at this urgent care are extremely capable and friendly. They listened patiently to me explain my symptoms, then ran a number of tests on me, and diagnosed the problem and explained my care thoroughly. Its my first choice of caring facilities.
