My husband and I took our dog in for an ear infection. As soon as we walked through the door we wernt even acknowledged. The rececptionists were having personal conversations with eachother while I was standing there waiting to check in. They didnt help assist me until I said something after I had been standing there for a couple minutes. We were shortly seen by Dr. Menke. which was the worst experience ive ever had at a vet. He asked me to hold my dog while he looked at her, then yelled at me for not holding her the right way. When I would ask him questions about my dog he didnt seem very knowledgeable about anything, and told me to let him do his job " screaming" at me...this is not a dog or people friendly place...

I brought my dog in and the nurse was not very pleasant . She was extremely rude and her people skills are horrible. Doctor came in and examined my dog and set up some injections and some meds. . I paid and went home . When I got home I looked over my bill and noticed they charged me for an injection my dog did not get. I drove back to the vet and the secretary started to credit my debit card and I asked if it would be better if I got the injection I paid for ? She asked the doctor and yes that is what should have been done in the first place . I had to go back to my house and bring my dog in again . It was a terrible experience for a first visit.

Weve been taking our fur family here for many years. We always receive great quality, no nonsense care here at a reasonable price point. The office staff have always been friendly and informative. Dr. Menke has always treated us and our animals with respect, gives us straightforward answers to our questions, and neither he or his office staff have ever tried to up sell us anything ever during a visit. We love this place!

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Menke for 8 years. He is straightforward, no thrills, and takes his job seriously. I trust him completely and appreciate that every bill I have paid to him has been half what it would be somewhere else. He cares about the animals, and not trying to sell unnecessary procedures or pills. If you want an honest, great vet, Menke is your doctor.

Ive been coming here for years with all my pets and absolutely love them. Theyve always been incredibly nice and affordable. Ive even snuck in a couple of my friends pets as my own because last time I checked they dont except new patients. If you can get in there, I highly suggest this place! They even send condolence cards when you lose a furry baby.

Dr. Minke has been my family veterinarian for years. We are extreme animal lovers in my family so we keep him busy. I would not trust any other Veterinarian . His staff is great. Linda who has bee. His receptionist is like a family friend . They all make you feel like you a d your fur babies are the most important things to them.

We have brought our kitties here for at least 20 years and we love the level of professional care that we have received over the years. Never once did I feel as though I was being pushed into anything that my pet did not need. Franklin Animal Hospital has been great to us, and they are very affordable!

Ok, so I read the reviews and thought maybe this would be a good place to take my new pup. Well, I called to make an appointment and the person on the other end sure was rude. SO, I didnt even make it past that. Already off to a bad start.. so this place is a definite NO for my puppy

Ive been going to Franklin Vet Hospital for about a year, and Ive found the doctors and staff exceptional. Many of the vets from Bradshaw clinic have either transferred full time to FVH, or they fill in as necessary. FVH is locally owned and staffed. Love Dr. Betsy Schroeder!

Best vet in Sacramento. Dr. Menke is a straight shooter. He doesnt try exploiting desperate people with ailing pets. He gives practical advice, excellent care, and accurate diagnoses. IMO, Franklin Animal Hospital is one of the best things about Sacramento if you own pets.

I have been going to here for 11 years, the staff is friendly to myself and my pets. This is no nonsense vet care, I dont feel pushed to use more products/ services than I need, and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend Franklin animal hospital.

Dr. Menke and the staff at Franklin Animal Hospital are the best. We have been coming her for vet service for over 15 years. Very knowledgeable, they care about you and your pets, and very reasonable priced for services. I would highly recommend.

I was able to get my dog an urgent appointment at a conveinent time. They took good care of my dog and she was very happy there. This was my first major vet visit and I was relieved my bill wasnt as bad as I thought it might be.

Dr Menke is like family to us has treated two pets over the last 12 years. He is honest, hardworking and very knowledgeable - UC Davis Vet grad. I would recomend him highly for any vet care
