I have been taking my dogs to PB Veterinary clinic for many years. My vets, Dr. Benita Keiss and Dr. Hoolihan have been warm, knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns whether they be costs, discomfort for my animals or my pushing them for more information. My lab has a serious intestinal issue and Dr. Hoolihan researched extensively over several days on the best diet that could be tolerated by my dog and was not one that was easily found and would have been overlooked without the time and research that it took. They all are very sincere in their affection for the animals. I have always found them to be understanding and providing the best care for both the animals as well as the owners. They understand the stress and costs involved and are always active in creating the best treatment plans possible for both pet and owner. This sincere compassion and help was shown to me when my other dog died overnight. The techs opened the clinic early, well before normal hours and met me outside to help me with the overwhelmingly sad process of taking him in and helping with the subsequent process.

I have taken my dog, Diesel, to PB Vet & Dr Keiss since he was only a pup - that was almost 10 years ago! Unfortunately Diesel has had a LOT of health issues - from epileptic seizures to Addisons Disease - and a whole lot of everything in between. For the last several years he has a standing monthly appointment with Dr. Keiss to receive an injection. -- Throughout it all, Dr. Keiss and her staff have been wonderful to deal with, compassionate and giving. I have always found that they will try one treatment option first, before moving on to the next, more expensive options. Nothing like those other vets who are constantly trying to up-sell you and through you a whole laundry list of expensive treatments & testing. I refer them to EVERYONE I meet - even strangers who are just walking by with their own pets :-) I cant say enough about this clinic - nor could I ever thank them enough!

I have been going to PB Vet for approximately 20 years. Dr. Keiss is my "primary" and as long as she is practicing, she will be my vet. Dr. K. has always gone out of her way to put in mountains of extra time to look into alternatives or answers or solutions to tough questions or situations. Her expertise coupled with her humanity have been a salvation to me countless times. PB Vet also helped me -- out of an emergency fund they administered at one point -- when I was jobless and bringing in stray cats from my neighborhood who needed spaying or neutering; and then again when I rescued a very sick diabetic dog. I will be forever grateful for that. I highly recommend this practice. with a special bias ( I admit) toward Dr. Keiss.

They slipped me a $74 fee without telling me. I took my dog in for a non-emergent reason, without an appointment. They said, "No problem, we can squeeze you in". THEY DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT ANY EXTRA FEES. After the consult was complete, they charged me for an Urgent Fee, because I didnt make an appointment. If they would have told me that walking in, meant paying $74 extra, I would have made an appointment. My dog and I could have waited! When I tried to dispute the charge, the doctor didnt care. My 2 large dogs and I will take our business somewhere that doesnt slip me surprise fees.

Dr. Keiss and the staff at PB Vet are AMAZING! Medically, Dr. Keiss has been through a lot with me and my dogs, including lymphoma, allergies, emergency eating things, and just general sickness. Each and every time I am impressed by her knowledge, common sense and thoroughness. She is also kind, caring and easy to talk to. We could not be in better hands. I also have to mention the vet techs and front desk staff, who are always warm and welcoming, attentive and on top of everything. Not that I ever enjoy the vets office, but I look forward to seeing this group.

Ive been to several vet clinics in the area and this is where I choose to take my dog and where I recommended my daughter take her new rescue dog. Ive not worked with a particular vet in the office, but all of them have been friendly, and answered all my questions. The overall experience was superior. By the way if you get a rescue dog and they give you a list of vets that will check them free, its a scam. The free part covers nothing, and you end up with a bill. You may as well go to the vet that you want to establish a relationship with from the start.

Dr. Keiss and Raul (and the front desk lady whos name escapes me) were so wonderful, personable and thorough with my 4 year old cat. I just moved from out of state a month ago, and they had already looked through her medical records I had faxed down, and knew what was what. They recommended a new flea medicine and gave me a sample dose, that has been working amazingly well and isnt as smelly/sticky as Advantage. Im so relieved to be set up with Dr. Keiss, I know if anything happens before my cats next well visit, shell be in great hands!

I have been going to Dr. Bonita Keiss, DVM for almost 30 years, I have found are always to be professional, skilled, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I credit her with the saving of the life of one of my hounds (Ruby), as well as keeping them all in good health and with a great quality of life. I have had 6 Basset hounds over the past 30 years, and Dr. Keiss has been my/their Vet for almost all of that time, because as far as I’m concerned I can trust her with my dog’s life and to put my dogs well-being 1st.

We have been taking our dogs to P B Veterinary Clinic for the last 15 years. Our Bichon, Holly, passed away at the age of 15; thanks to Dr. Keiss and the caring staff Holly lived a long and happy life. She had many medical issues but she was always treated with TLC and would recover from her ailments and illnesses. We now have little Katie, also a Bichon, and she is a great fan of the staff at the clinic. She yelps with excitement as she pulls me in through the door. Yes...a dog that loves her VET!

Ive been a client for over 15 years and have found the staff and technicians friendly, excellent, caring and responsive. Dr. Benita Kiess has been our primary doctor for both of our poodles, and she is both thoroughly caring and knowledgeable about them, their behaviors and medical history. My wife and I have found the cost of the services reasonable and thoroughly worthwhile for maintaining the health of our pets. Dr. Kiesss advice and care has saved us money in the long run. Thank you.
