I saw Dr. Brown & wasnt pleased with the overall handling of my treatments. Upon finding a benign tumor residing in my uterus no follow up was made. There was no concern or education on what to do next. The concentration was my relationship status so that I wouldnt be a cash patient anymore. The ultrasounds are done by a Tech only. When I asked Dr. Brown to go over the ultrasounds she stated that she wasnt there so she couldnt tell me about them. Umm I have a benign tumor and you cant read the ultrasound because you werent there?! That was my final straw in ALL the misinformation that I was given in my short visit there. But oh wait.. to get your medical records to leave the office is just another challange. Make sure that you complete a transfer file for you OWN files or that your new office will requst them. Not all the information was given to my new Dr in those files either. I also gave the office my medical records from past Drs to be added to my file. The file was loaded in a computer system and the originals were thrown out. Upon asking why I didnt get them back & That I wished to have them - they nurse said "why would we ask you". I find that office staff is friendly but they dont explain how things are done. I should have been notified that my original files from my past fertility Drs would be thrown out, i should have been able to have a Dr do my ultrasound and give me straight results. I also should have been able to talk to my Dr about the issues I was having and not have her brush them off with lame excuses. Now I am about to have a surgery that should have been done four months ago and hope and pray that my history is all in the files they are copying for me.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR! I went in to get my very first prenatal visit with Dr. Brown, and I was very excited about it. While I was waiting I overheard the receptionist saying that when she doesnt feel like talking to people she puts them on hold, which is very rude. Anyway, I went on to my appointment and everything was looking fine until Dr. Brown started the ultrasound, she told me it was not a normal pregnancy, that the baby didnt form the way it was supposed to, there was no heartbeat, and that in a couple a weeks my body was going to reject it and I was going to pass it. After that I had to wait three and a half weeks to see her again because she went on vacation. All this time I thought I was carrying a dead fetus. I went in the second time to see why I havent misscarried, and as she started the ultrasound she said "oh, there it is, everything is ok now" I was very confused since she told me I was going to have a miscarriage, after that I became concerned, I was trying to explain to Dr. Brown why I was concerned and she just kept saying "dont worry about it" before I even finished my sentence. So I felt unheard. During those three and a half weeks I was in a very deep depression because I was waiting to "pass" my baby, as Dr. Brown said I would, she never told me to keep taking care of myself or the keep taking my prenatal vitamins. I dont trust Dr. Brown anymore, I never went back to see her, and I went to another Dr. to have a second opinion. I am 15 weeks pregnant now and my baby is healthy.

I recently moved and was looking for a new doctor and found Dr Brown on Google. I will admit that she was a very nice doctor, one I likely would have wanted to see again until I got my bill. I went in for a routine check up and during I had a pain when she pressed on my lower right abdomen. I wasnt sure what it was and she mentioned me coming back for an ultrasound to see about cysts. Well, the pain went away and I never got the ultrasound but to my surprise I was billed for TWO dr visits that day. The lady at the front desk said it was due to the Dr mentioning having the ultrasound during my appointment. I called and talked to billing several times and they were not willing to change that or to code my routine exam correctly to where it would be covered by my insurance either. In my mind when I go to the Dr I want to be able to trust they are not going to over charge me or bill me for two exams in one day just because they took one minute to recommend a follow up treatment since I was having pain that RELATED to my current exam. I thought you were billed for what you have done not for what they simply recommend and you dont do. I will not be going back and I not only wouldnt recommend people to go here I actually warn my friends in the area to avoid going there and being over charged and then not cared for about your concerns with billing.

Dr Brown is the best obgyn I have been to. I started with her when I became pregnant with my son. At 10 weeks I was in a car accident out of state and in the evening. I called her number and she returned my call within an hour and talked with me extensively. I went into labor at 35 weeks due to sudden onset preeclampsia, the hospital wanted me to do an emergency c-section but I wanted to have him naturally. She talked me through my options and proceeded with a natural child birth. She induced me and it took 36 hours. She was at the hospital often to check on me. I had complications post delivery and she was again at the hospital often to check on me. The nurses even commented that they never see Drs there as much ad she was. I recommend her everyone.

Dr. Wittgrove is amazing! She is professional, knowledgeable, caring and to the point. She offered options for my diagnosis and was there for me every step through pre-op, surgery and recovery. The ladies at the front desk are always nice and her assistant nurse Jasmine is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. I cannot recommend her and her team enough.

Doctor was OK but surprised me with a nasty bill for $250 for a simple visit which lasted less than 10 min. There was no blood work, no lab, no exam, absolutely nothing else but 10 minutes of talking. So I was charged at a rate of $1500 per hour more money than what the president makes in one hour.

I love this Doctor. She is knowledgeable, understanding and respectful. She is the first doctor Ive had who listens to me about my former Tokophobia and has made me feel like a part of my medical decisions.
