For regular pet care and checkups, I cant recommend these guys highly enough. Dr. Wong and the whole staff are super sweet, professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and really care about your pet. Dr. Wong saw my pup for more than three years for regular checkups and shots, starting with her puppy care. He even did a fantastic deep plaque cleaning and removed a couple cracked teeth with my pup under anesthesia — something that makes me VERY nervous with my small dog, especially because so many vets do a terrible job with teeth cleaning. My pup didn’t have any tissues, healed perfectly, and came out with gleaming teeth. So glad I trusted Dr. Wong and his team with her care! Bonus: The office is adorably cozy and quaint -- much better than big, sterile, unfriendly vets, in my opinion. And the prices are very affordable. I came here for three years with my Pomeranian mix and never had an issue, and would still be coming here if we hadnt moved to Seattle. We miss yall!

Blue Cross is a great place to take your pets for care. We have been to 4 vets for our 3 cats over the last 10+ years and are elated to finally find a place that cares and does not want your arm nor your legs for their services. All of the Vets that I have taken our cats to will load up on stuff that I didnt need nor at times put enough time into finding out the problem we are having. If you love you pets and are tired of other Vets overcharging or adding on unnecessary charges on top of your visits I highly recommend this place. Example: Surgery to remove topical skin growth/tumor was estimated to be between $1200 - $2000 at my previous vet vs Blue Cross $750 final bill. Yes they have a great web site and an a monthly newsletter but so what? I just want good service at a fair price not so I can pay for a lavish web site and a fancy waiting room I am sure my cat doesnt appreciate it. The doctors are great caregivers too! I rate them 3 1/2 stars out of 4

Ive been bringing my cat here for two year and love it! Primarily, I love their prices- hands down the most affordable vet Ive been to (and Ive had a lot of cats in a lot of cities.) She has been for annual exams, as well as dental surgery. I was nervous bringing an 8 year old cat for surgery, but they took great care of her and even sent her home with a weeks worth of pain medicine. The vet in Philadelphia that spayed her cost three times as much and didnt seem to care about her pain. In the end her surgery cost LESS than the estimate I was quoted. I think thats the first time in veterinary history that has happened. Their facilities are a little outdated and the bedside manner isnt as coddling as Id like, but the prices and healthcare are unbeatable. I recommend this place 100%.

First of, the staff is not friendly at all. Secondly, I had my puppy vaccinated there, and not only they were confused at what to do and eager to rush me out, but they also failed to inform me about possible allergic reaction, which almost killed my dog. I had to run to ER to save my puppy. Thirdly, my dog scratches her nose and it is red around her face because of it. I asked the doctor what I should do or what could be the cause, and the doctor simply told me: "I dont know".

I recently took my cat there to discuss teeth cleaning. I wanted to explore the need of it being done and also the cost. Well, I learned that it was necessary for my 7 year old cat to have it done but it was going to cost about 1/3 of what the former vet wanted to charge. I made an appointment for her teeth to be cleaned. I will come back and review how that goes when it has happened. I was also pleased with the way the vet treated both of us on our first visit.

I just changed the water heater here. As you can imagine, in my line of work, I get a behind the scenes look at many businesses and see what the general public isnt able to see. I was so very impressed with everything I saw. Super clean, super organized, super friendly people and most of all, each animal being treated with love and care. This is an amazing place run by amazing people.

I moved to San Francisco recently so I had to find a new vet to take my dog Daisy to. The veternarian did an amazing job cutting my pups nails and making her feel comfortable. The girls behind the counter were really nice too. Im definitely bringing Daisy back here next time she needs her nails clipped or anything else. Thanks for a great experience here =]

This place is decent. We used to take our dog to Pets Unlimited on Fillmore Street. I think Blue Cross pricing is more reasonable compare with Pets Unlimited. The staff are very friendly. We could call them for medical advices sometimes. That saves us time! However, Blue Cross does not have emergency service.

Dr. Sherman Wong is the GREATEST ! We have been with Dr Wong for 20 + years. Four puppies grew up with him. He has always been there for us ! Reasonable pricing, great service, superb communication, and a wonderful caring staff ! We love you Dr Wong, signed Rocky and Bella Lim.

Dr. Wing was caring and able to see my cat on short notice, but it wasnt until visits to several other vets that the proper diagnosis of the problem (hyperthyroidism) was finally made.
