The staff were very nice but there were alot of things that could have been different. there are some things just simple things that the staff I was attended by failed. I was in labor for 17hrs I kept seeing diffrentMAs and DRs come into the room put their gloves on touch the computer or their hair or face and then check how dialated I was. At a point there were 2drs one with her hand in me checking how dialated I was(which i let her know i was in so much pain)and telling the other to put her hand and also check out how dialated I was &of course she just went ahead and put her hand in only to say she agreed to 4cm dialated. In a period of 3hrs at 4cm dialated with a think cervix, 5 people checked how dialated I was, I believe it was not necessary since the way I was explained everything was every 2hrs they were going to be checking in and once i was closer to 10 the MA would let the Dr know.Every time I was checked I was in so much pain that I would of rather wanted to feel a contraction than the pain I was feeling. On another note I chose to get an epidural @7cm which I regretted getting since I felt everything(the whole birth). The person that did my epidural failed twice both times the needle went in and my whole left side jumped and i questioned her technique she had me sit still on the bedside while she did the whole process. The thing was when i had my daughter they had me curled into a ball laying on the bed while on my side. Once she took out the tube from the second time she said she was going to call someone and 40min later no one showed up and without asking she just went ahead and tried the third time i was just so over the thing and when she asked if I felt anything I just said no. I felt every contraction every stitch and after the placenta came out I felt the drs hand in me pulling or scrating all the clots out I did let the Dr know I felt the stitches while she was doing them especially when she was pulling the thread through and touging on em,and she just said she had 2more to do, once thoes 2 were done she said she needed to do a couple more. Once everything was cleaned up and no one was in the room except my husband, baby, and myself my husband noticed there was a huge puddle of water on the floor we called the MA right away only to find out my saline bag was not connected and was just leaking on the floor (only about a quarter remained in the bag). 2hrs after the delivery I felt the urge to urinate and I let the MA know she told me to wait a little longer since I had an epidural and she wanted to make sure the affects were minimal(so I wouldnt fall or lose balance) so I waited even though I felt I couldnt hold it any more and knew the epidural didnt work in the first place. I waited 15min and called her letting her know I needed to really go pee. She said shed come and I felt like I was about to loose it so I sat up and tried to get myself together to just go without her help but my iv was still connected and somehow even the phone line was wrapped in there. A couple hrs later I was moved into my room where I would stay to recover. The only thing that I felt was off about the MA attending my room was she came into the room and told my husband he wasnt the father of my child I looked up at her and thought she was kidding but she looked serious and asked to see his wristband and checked the babys band and still asked him to read out his wristband. Ethier way I was holding the baby and he was just sitting on the visitors chair. I couldnt believe what she said, I mean as a professional she could have held the comment and just asked to check his wristband and the babys and if she had any concern of him being in the room she could have asked me.

Kaiser Reviews
Worst doctors i have seen till now, go to Kaiser only if you think you have normal health issues like cold, fever, physical check up...etc. Most of the doctors are just finished their education and joined in Kaiser, they are not experiences so they do all trail and errors. They are working only to make people to buy over the counter medicines or anti depression medications. They know to treat only standard health issues, if they dont know what is the problem then the first thing they try is anti depression medicines on you or send you to Psychiatrist and the screw your life once you start taking those medicines. I have been meeting them from last one year for one of the health issue i have, all test reports are normal and everyone in Kaiser says that they dont know what is the problem and left me with out treating. When i raise my voice they told me to file complaint at member service and the member service takes a month to investigate and concludes that their doctors are working on my case and they close the case. Since i dont have choice to move out from Kaiser for another six months im not able to get right treatment. After above review Susie C from responded and she asked for my medical records. I have sent the details immediately almost 3 weeks ago, till now she didnt respond to me. These reviews are to showcase people that Kaiser work on customer concerns but the reality is different. Personally i know this is the 4th time in last 6 months i reported concerns and all the times they never try to address the issues i raised.

While we have not had any problems at this facility, I wanted to tell everyone about issues we have had due to my daughters move to southern California to attend UCLA. Now she cannot get an appointment for services because of Northern California Medical Record number. She got assigned a SOCAL Medical Record number, but when she calls to make an appointment, the number is not in the system. I called to bring this to their attention, they told me I had to have her fly north to get services or have her records switched to SOCAL via my employer. I am sure you would agree that neither one of those solutions can be acceptable! If I get her switched to SOCAL, then she would be without insurance again when she comes home for the summer. These two solutions were presented to me after a 62 minute conversation during which they were trying really hard to avoid answering the question and they were making things up which were irrelevant to the problem my daughter was having. If they not capable of solving simple issues, would you trust your life to an organization like this? You can just imagine what goes on behind the closed doors is nothing but a complete disarray and chaos! I would suggest moving on to another provider!

If you are going to be sick, well there isnt a much better place to be than here at Kaiser. The hospital and medical offices are top notch. The Doctors, nurses and staff are good. I hope you dont have to come here, and you remain healthy, but if you must come here rest easy and know that they will do their best to help you. If you are family, they work to accommodate you and make you comfortable. The seating is nice, the decor has comforting colors and artwork. There are areas where you can be alone and in peace. Kids are welcome and they often cheer you up just by being themselves There are a couple of pharmacies in the building, so getting medicine is convenient. What is not convenient is parking. You may often drive around looking for a spot. I recommend going across the bridge and parking there and walking back, as you can readily find a spot over there. I hope you dont have to come here, except for routine check ups, colds and flu. It is a highly recommended hospital and medical organization.
