Dr. Wisa at East West Veterinary Clinic is a great, repeat great veterinarian. He has taken care of my dogs and cats for almost 8 years. He used to practice out of North Hollywood which was convenient because I live in Burbank. Then he moved his practice to Thousand Oaks. By then besides his unquestionable professional competence, we had become friends to I willingly made the 80 mile round trip to see him whenever one of my fur friends had a problem. My favorite pet, T-Roy a tuxedo cat developed an auto-immune disease affecting his teeth and gums about a year ago. Dr. Wisa saved T-Roys teeth for as long as possible but finally most of them had to come out. Dr. Wisa is a conservative vet that believes in what is best for the pet and his quality of life, and always takes the time to explain choices, and the probable outcomes. He is very caring for the pet and the owner, never rushed, and never rough with the pet. He takes the time to let you know whats happening. If you call him, he returns calls the same day. His staff is very helpful and friendly, and good at working you in for an appointment, calling in prescriptions, and generally makes you feel welcome when you walk in the door. If you have a pet, and the pet requires any type of medical maintenance or attention, I would recommend you see Dr. Wisa. I trust his judgement implicitly with my pets.

I brought our 15-16 year old Thai Ridgeback (Chili) to EW. She was fast losing weight and our vet in Simi Valley had diagnosed her with pancreatitis. She would not eat except for her treats. We were at the point of evaluating whether it was time to put her out of her misery. In the past, we had brought our pets to EW when nothing else seemed to work. As a last resort, we thought of EW again. The results were short of miraculous. Her weight had stabilized, she is eating (although not as much as she used to, but on a regular basis), she is more alert and engaged, and shes back to being a normal 95-year old (in human years) sweetie. EW, with its holistic approach, had given Chili a new lease on quality life. Dr. Martin, and now Dr. Wisa have proven that there is quality life beyond just pumping in medication. Dr. Wisa is excellent! And the staff is to die for. Always willing to help, always friendly and welcoming. When youre at EW, you find you are not alone in caring for your pet.

My dogs are 9 1/2 years old and have been getting their care from the East/West Veterinary Clinic since they were 3 months old. Mostly routine for both dogs, but lately I have been taking Charlie to see Dr. Wisa to determine why he is slightly anemic and supplements have not improved his condition. Through ultrasound, it was determined that Charlie has a mass in his stomach. Until further tests are done, it is not known if the mass is malignant or not, but Dr. Wisa has been very supportive. He even recommended that we take Charlie to a specialty veterinary clinic for an endoscopy. He never pushed me to just have surgery done to remove the mass. He listened to what I had to say and understood the enormous conflict I had to deal with. I like the idea that he combines both western and eastern medicine in his practice. Charlie always comes to me happy after acupuncture treatments. The entire staff is very nice and helpful.

Dr. Wisa was wonderful with our pup! We have been dealing with ongoing issues with our almost 15 year old shelter pup (whom we have had for less than 2 years). We decided to try a new clinic, and a veterinary technician friend referred us to Dr. Wisas office. They use both traditional Western and Eastern modalities (such as acupuncture). Our baby seemed very relaxed in this office and its a convenient location. The staff is also excellent! Very nurturing, helpful, and on top of everything. This is super important to us and we really appreciate how kind and patient they are. We look forward to maintaining a great quality of life for our girl with Dr. Wisas tender, loving help.

When I thought my 13 year old Sheppard/Rott mix was having issues I took him in to see Dr Wisa. My dog is a big baby but Dr Wisa was excellent with him and was able to get all the tests needed to be able to do a diagnosis with no trauma to my dog. Thankfully my dog came back with a clean bill of health and Dr Wisa suggested some slight adjustments to his maintenance to keep him healthy. Dr Wisa is very thorough competent and gentle with my dogs and offers alternatives to help with quality of life in aging pets.

We have been going to East West Vet Clinic since Dr. Martin opened it in 1998. We have now been seeing Dr. Wisa since he bought the practice a year ago, and we would not even think of going anywhere else! Dr. Wisa and all the staff have been so wonderful, caring, and supportive. We are extremely comfortable taking our cats in for exams, surgery, and on-going treatments. Many thanks to Dr. Martin and Dr. Wisa for your dedication and commitment to animal welfare.

I have been taking my two dogs to East West Veterinary Clinic since we moved to this area about seven years ago. Ive never had a bad experience there. The Vets (formerly Dr. Martin and now Dr. Wisa) and staff have been terrific with my dogs, and are knowledgeable and competent, and show caring, patience, and affection during each visit. Im very happy to recommend East West to anyone looking for a good Veterinary Clinic.

My experience with East/West Veterinary Clinic has been excellent. My beautiful 14 year old Dacshund, Joe, was suffering from paralyzed legs and a compressed spine. I took him to acupunture instead of doping him up with heavy meds. He has regained control of his legs and continues to receive a Lazer treatment every 2 weeks. He is happy and playing with his brother and sister. Thank you EAST/WEST. Belinda Peres

By far the best vet I have ever experienced. The new doctor, Dr. Nabil is great and was very helpful with guiding me to take the best cost effective way to address my Boxer cancer. It is clear that Dr. Nabil has done a great job taking over Dr. Martins practice. The staff is amazing and are so sweet with my dog that she gets so excited to see them, every time! Your pet will be taken care of.

Dr Wisa saved my Rescued Dingo who was on deaths door . He saved Red Dog . Thats was 2012!. In 2013 while filming "McFarland" in the town of McFarland was Blanca , a street dog with a busted hip and atrophied back leg . Dr Wisa performed a new surgery and I swear Blanca thinks she is half gazelle half mountain goat . Its 60 miles round trip . In L. A. Traffic. Worth it .

Weve been with Dr. Wisa since he took over Dr. Martins practice. Dr. Wisa and his staff helped us through the passing of our cocker spaniel, Aja. Moving on to the present, we now have a beautiful 7 1/2 yr. old American Bulldog rescue named Maya, who has seen Dr. Wisa since her adoption. He is very thorough and he doesnt miss a thing! We couldnt...wouldnt go anywhere else.
