We recently moved and had to change vets but we have been going to this vet for years so when my cat got an infected abscess, we knew where we wanted to take him for a second opinion. Midtown ended up agreeing with the vet we went to originally but because we were already there we decided to leave the cat with them instead of hauling him back to the first vet. Anyway, long story short, midtown charged us twice as much for the same procedure, kept him 2 nights when the other vet said we could have hi back the same day, charged us for the office visit even though he was admitted for overnight, charges us $115 for a neuter which we were told by animal control was already done (AND the other vet said he would do it for free), they did the surgery Monday and by Wednesday we still didnt have a call to update us on how he did or when we could come get him. They made us wait til 4pm to pick him up (which Im sure is so they could charge us boarding for the day). This is no longer our family vet. We will be taking all of our animals to Somis from now on. It is clear they are in it for the money and not for whats best for the animal and the family.

Have used them for over 30 years! Dr. Martin was a very caring, compassionate and wonderful veterinarian. Once he retired, it all went downhill fast. What use to be a warm and personal experience is more like a cattle drive, you feel like just a number. It seems the business is more about the money than it is about quality of care and the love of animals. Appointments are never on time, usually end up waiting 15 to 30 minutes past the appointment time only to be shuffled off into an examination room to wait yet once again. I paid for a slew of tests on one of my dogs, still have been waiting since March for a return call on the test results . . . I gave up and moved on.

My 2 dogs have always had incredibly bad anxiety in other vet clinics. As weve been bringing them to Midtown for the past year, they have been noticeably more and more comfortable in a clinic setting. The front office staff always greets them and makes them feel welcomed, and are always down for a kiss or love from our fur babies. You can tell the employees in back genuinely care about the level of care given to the animals, and that Dr. Thomas has years of experience and knowledge and makes sure I understand and that Im comfortable with any procedure necessary for the health of my pets. Very happy I started bringing my animals here.

Dr. Thomas is a very caring and compassionate man. He takes his time to explain everything to me which is very helpful. I have 6 dogs and have been taking them to this office for 2 years. So far it has been a great experience. The girls in the office, Judy, Jody and Debbie are the best! Love them all!

You have got to take your pets to Midtown Veterinary Clinic. I just took my Ziggy there and I gotta tell ya, they are the best. The front staff are wonderful, Doctor Martin is so friendly, and Doctor Thomas has got to be the best surgeon in the industry! Take my word for it, you will not regret it!

I will be moving on from this vet. Bad experience with 2 dogs and mis- diagnosis. Frustrated with the level of care. Not good. Constantly upsells on needless drugs and Meds. Now using another vet.
