There are a lot of good reviews here, but I wont be back. Two visits: 1. My dog tore his rear ACL. The vet looked at him for a short period of time, maybe 5 minutes and recommended a $3,000 dollar surgery and told me it was really my only choice. I felt she was rather cold and disinterested. His other leg was already bad and I was really worried. One of the considerations when a dogs back legs go is to put him down because you cant be there to help take care of him. I was terrified. I love my dog. I stayed home for a week, built him a ramp, and assisted him until he figured out how to manage his week knees. He is now running around and having a normal life. 2. My dog developed a really bad cough and started coughing up some yellow stuff. They asked me to keep him in the car, which I understand, because he might be contagious. The vet (same one) came out and didnt want to touch him. She wanted to interview me and that was about it. She saw I wasnt satisfied and decided shed better listen to his lungs. I got antibiotics, no guess as to a diagnosis, and a bill. I brought up the issue of the torn ACL and that he was doing great. Her only comment was, "That is what we hope for." On both occasions the diagnosis from the Veterinarian offered very few options, no clear diagnosis, and a big bill. The office staff were friendly, but the veterinarian was not. There are some house cats there and they have a play room with a window behind the desk. The waiting room smelled like urine.

I brought my chihuaua, Daisy, in for our very trip to this office to get her nails cut. I work at a verterinary office as well, yet Daisy will not let me cut her nails so I have always had to take her in to get them cut down. I was very impressed by the staff at Bayside. When the tech came out to get Daisy, I suggested she might get a muzzle as Daisy is a typical chihuahua, not to mention a "mommys girl" and was petrified to leave my side. Once the tech and Daisy were in the back, I did hear Daisy screaming BUT I know she was not being hurt, she was just scared out of her little mind. Daisy did pee on the tech who cut her nails, and I am very sorry about that. I think next time I take her in, I am going to give her a dose of Ace. Anyway, I am very impressed with this office. Seeing as how I work at another vet, I know how to tell if nails were cut too short and I am proud to say not a single nail was cut too short. Ladies at Bayside, I thank you for taking care of my baby, I apologize for the tech getting peed on. We will be back, thought this next time we go, I will give Daisy a dose of Ace and I will not let her nails get so long. You guys are amazing! 5 stars in my book!!!!!!!!!

This is a great veterinary clinic. They are professional and friendly. They also take very great care for the pets they take in. I had to contact them in an emergency to quarantine my cat after he bit me and they not only took him in that day but they also were very reasonable and affordable in the prices for shots and boarding. I would recommend this clinic and its staff to any pet owner.

This place has always been clean when I am there. The staff is knowledgeable and very professional. I never feel rushed or feel bad about not knowing stuff. The staff answers all of my questions. If they do not know something I have asked about they always look it up find the answers and then call me back within 24 hours of there working hours.

Just got back from taking my pup for his annual check up and shots. Really like Bayside Veterinary. Very friendly and informative staff, comfortable atmosphere and most importantly, great with my pup (11 yo terrier mix) who is very nervous going to the vet. Highly Recommended.

The staff here is GREAT! The Vets are phenomenal & its easy to see that everyone there really care about the critters they care for & treat them as if they were their own pets. We have been going there for over five years & cant imagine going anywhere else.

This is a great place to take your pet. The front and back office staff are efficient and friendly. They always make themselves available for emergency care (I speak from first hand experience). I would recommend Dr. Christiansen to anyone!

The Glitch Ditch

Been to nearly all the vets in town, but my family has stayed with Bayside for the longest. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and knowledgeable vets. My only complaint would be its not open on the weekends.
