I went here 12/20/16. My cat seemed to have some irritation in her eye and for the past two days I could not figure out what it was. This resulted in her squinting and a general look of discomfort. I called to set up an appointment 12/19 and spoke with Dr. Aanes. Once I told him it was a problem with her eye, he scheduled me for first thing in the morning next day. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! Not only is Dr. Aanes one of the most knowledgeable professionals I have had the pleasure of speaking with, his staff is extremely friendly and just good at what they do. He relieved all my worries about the eye( wasnt too serious, little antibiotics and drops) and also gave me some great advice on improving her weight. DOESNT BREAK THE BANK! Im a college student (so not rolling in the dough) and was expecting something crazy like $200+. The bill wasnt even close to that. My go to vet now

I have owned dogs all my life and it has been difficult to find a family vet. However, I recently received a new puppy and was diagnosed with canine distemper and passed away. Afraid that our other puppies may have it I called the vet after our first puppy passed. He took the time out of his day to educate me and answer all of my questions. He was able to understand my pain and allowed me to bring in my two puppies immediately. Our first visit was FREE because our puppies were shelter puppies. In addition, his fee are AFFORDABLE. During our visit he made us feel comfortable, but he kept control of the conversation, getting to the point. He does not waste a visit and by calling if he can answer any questions he will. All in all, this vet is amazing and has made my animals and I very important.

We have taken our dog and cat to see Dr. Aanes for the past year after a friend referred us to him. His location is not exactly convenient for us, but the care & price is well worth the extra miles. Our dog had some kidney issues as a puppy and has had several trips to the animal ER...each time he goes to the hospital, we get a call from Dr. Aanes to check in on his health. He is a genuine, caring person and is happy to spend some time talking with you about your concerns. We are usually able to make same-day appointments if necessary...they are very accommodating. Overall, we are very pleased with Chambers Point and have recommended them to several of our friends.

I understand the concern for my dog, who may or may not have taken expired decon. However, telling me a story about how her vet clinics pet took one pellet and died that day was not calming and reassuring. I called the poison control and read the date and package to the lady, why this vet feels her knowledge of knowing deacon and brushing me off before judging me thought it was necessary. I am sure her intentions were good but I dont need judgements I need solutions without all the gore. BTW, my dog is fine went to another vet, complete work up done. Will be on protein k for the next month just to be sure.

Was told that my dog had a hematoma that was not going to effect him and that we should just leave it alone and let him get over it naturally, waited about two weeks and my dogs head swelled to the point where my dog couldnt open his eyes. He is now in constant pain. Went to a second vet for another opinion, got prescribed antibiotics, topical meds, pain killers, and a suggestion for surgery. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION

This was the first vet that ever took time with my cat Bunny to get to know her, she is extremely frightened of vets because of many bad experiences with them. This vet actually took time and pet her, and he was not put off by her hissing. After he took time with her, he was able to actually weigh her and give her shots. I am very, very impressed and happy that my cat can be treated here.

Ive used Dr Aanes for all our pets (about 13 years, now). Hands down, hes knowledgeable, compassionate and just an all-around great guy! If theres an issue, hell give you ALL the options available, not just the ones that cost a lot of money. His staff is equally knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

Hands down the bet Vet Ive ever been to. No one tried to sell me any special type of food or any other service that wasnt needed. They also do 3 year Rabies vaccinations automatically.The Dr. was also completely knowledgeable, excellent clinic.
