Receptionist and the intial technician that saw us for the dental consultation was very friendly and helpful; however, the pre op exam that we came back for had me a bit uncomfortable. It seemed as though money was the motive and although the two technicians and dr seemed friendly, it did not seem genuine. Initially I was quoted $377 for the dental with $470ish being the max but when I returned for the pre op exam, I was quote $800 on the low end and $1200 for the max. That seems outrageous to me and I ended up canceling my appointment and going to a different vet that rendered the same services for a much more reasonable price. They also tried to add on services to the pre op exam. I was told it was $60; however, they attempted to charge much more because of a fecal swab that they told me not to worry about because they realized I wasnt going to pay for something that wasnt discussed. They also seemed irritated that I didnt want to give my dog the Lepto shot and at some point was just going to do it anyway by having me sign a form of consent until I realized and READ what it was. Disappointed in my experience with this office and the only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because of how friendly the receptionist was. Their prices are way too high and they seem deceptive.

We took our aging dog to another vet for years, but they always seemed to treat the symptom, not the problem. As his allergy problems continued to get worse, the care remained the minimum. We ended up going to our previous vet every month for seven months, and not only did our dogs condition not improve, it got worse. He ended up with a serious staph infection that was misdiagnosed and treated with the wrong antibiotic until we went to see Dr. Riley. Since switching our dogs care to Aurora Hills Animal Hospital, he has had a remarkable improvement in less than two months. We now know what his allergy is (something our previous vet never tested for), and it is under control through new (less expensive) food and meds. Due to Dr. Rileys expert care and attention to detail, our dog is also being treated for back pain, and he is moving like he is five years younger. We are so thankful for a vet who really knows her stuff. The staff at Aurora Hills Animal hospital has always been nothing but professional and caring. We love Dr. Riley, Mary, and the rest of the staff.

My dog had been up all night and was very sick. I had just recently rescued him so he was not an established patient at Aurora Hills Animal Hospital. I called the hospital asking if I could drop him off and let one of the doctors take a look at him at their convenience just so he could get treated and since I had class to go to at 9 am. The receptionist was extremely rude and told me there would be a 55 dollar exam fee and an 18 dollar hospitalization fee, which I was willing to pay just so my dog would start feeling better. She then told me she would "look at the schedule" (which I can guarantee she DID NOT) and then told me, "The soonest we could see you would be at 9 am... So I guess this isnt gonna work out!" I have worked in the veterinary field for 2 years. If I did anything like that or refused new clients that are WILLING TO PAY AND WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR PETS, I would have been reprimanded. The staff here does not care to build relationships with new clients. I will take my dog and my business elsewhere.

This place is all about the money! I had my cat in for service and they ran every test in the book. 700 plus dollar later they could not give me a solid answer on what was going on. The did lab work that was outside of the quote. They told me I could come pick up my cat and informed them it would be my girlfriend. Once my girlfriend got home she showed up with 150.00 dollars worth of medications! The vet never got my approval for these medications and my girlfriend took them. Well once the medication leave the door you do not get a refund. My girlfriend left blind with these medications and the doctor never called me to consult me on discharge medication or instructions. She just informed to come pick up the cat. So for 900 dollars they were able to tell me nothing but and they still want to do more. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN! Also I talked with another Vet who is my uncle and he informed me it should of never of cost the amount of money they charged me for what they did...

We are always extremely satisfied with each and every one of our interactions with everyone at Doctor Reillys office. We feel that we are getting the highest quality care possible for our furry family members. Dr. Nicole Reilly has a warm and professional approach; helping us understand the any diagnosis and treatment options and impacts, and exploring solutions and helping us make informed and knowledgeable decisions, and supporting us when we have made them. Dr. Reillys supporting staff is always prompt and responsive, professional and friendly; it is a joy to come to appointments. At any given time, we have at least a handful of pets (around 200 to 300 pounds of animals) under their care and are extremely happy in our relationship with the practice.

We had been taking our dog to them for 10 years and just picked up our dogs file today as we are moving on. On our last visit, they kept running up charges and wouldnt work with us on their rates. They tell us they only need 45 minutes to see our dog, go beyond the time we had (after an hour my wife had to get to work) and then charge us a kennel fee, which started at $12, but ended up being $16.50. They charged us for a physical when he had one 1.5 months prior, in spite of our saying we didnt want a physical. $264 later we were telling them that we wouldnt come back if they didnt work with us on their fees. Seems like they were more into the money than keeping a long term client. This was all for lice and ears, nothing major.

Yesterday was our first time in with Kool-Aid. I called around 11 a.m. and was able to get an appointment for later the same day! Aurora Hills closes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays so their hours are totally convenient for people who have to work! The support staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Reilly was gentle with Kool-Aid, her exam was very thorough and she was happy to discuss any concerns that I had. She truly cares about the health and well-being of my Kool-Aid! Our visit to Aurora Hills Animal Hospital was definitely worth our time and money. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a high level of veterinary care!!!

Dr. Reilly and her employees are great. I have three cats (children) and have been with this practice since she took it over. One of my babies was geriatric and needed special care and special care she received. From the time I enter until I leave I feel like my babies and any issue they might have is number one to them. I never feel like I am a bother to any of them. I trust any of the staff with my cats. I have referred other people to Dr. Reilly s practice. In all my years of having pets and visiting other clinics this is the best. I will never go to any other clinic. Great job Aurora Hills Animal Hospital
