WOW! To find a great vet in todays busy world is almost impossible, but I did it. My advice if you are looking for a vet, dont go to these huge pet shop kind of vets. They are too busy and the caring piece of your pets care is sometimes lost in the shuffle of all of the inexperienced techs that are handling your dear sweet family member. I found a vet that still allows you to be in the room with your pet at all times. And the VET is the one that is actually treating your pet, not a tech. I learned more about my chow-chow and what was going on with him physically in one short visit with Dr. Evan Dowdy than I had at my last vet, ever. And I got to hold my beloved Charcoal while he was put under in order to trim his much needed nails, something near impossible for a chow-chow owner to do on their own due to the breeds sensitivity to this with their dark nails. Go to your local small town vet that has been around the block a bit with customer care and your very beloved pets care too. As a matter of fact, Dr. Dowdy and his dog, Shep, are the most welcoming of any into their care. And the supporting team that works with Dr. Dowdy, remarkable!!! Thank-you Horizon Veterinary Clinic in Brighton, Colorado, YOU ROCK!!!

We cannot say enough about Horizon Vet Clinic in Brighton. Our little dog was attacked at a local dog park and we were rushed over by a patient/client of Horizon. They welcomed us in without question, offered care however there could, and allowed us to grieve as long as we needed in the exam room. We were given options for our dog, with prices, and felt as though we were family. As soon as our other dog needs shots, appointments, etc., we will return to for knowledge, friendliness, and quick help. Thank you, to all the staff at Horizon. They truly helped us survive our devastating day.

Traversing Wonders

They did a wonderful job. Scheduled me in for the day after I called as soon as possible. An emergency came up after i arrived and they still kept me updated so I wouldnt feel forgotten. Listened to my concerns and after the visit I felt their charges were reasonable. My dogs doing much better now thanks to them, couldnt ask for more than that. They have a really interesting cat as well at the clinic that is extremely entertaining to watch. Very pleased.

The personnel here are friendly, caring, respectful, and professional. The docs have been nothing short of fantastic! Theyre empathetic to your and your pets needs. Dr. Dowdy is the vet I wanted to be when I was a kid. They work long, irregular hours so they can fit into your schedule and theyre reasonably priced. They will be my pets vets for years to come.

I have been bringing my animals here for the past 17 years and have never been disappointed. Having recently moved out of Brighton I started taking my animals to a different vet. Not the best decision! I have realized that making the drive back to Brighton to continue bringing my animals here is best for them so I will gladly continue to do so.

A coworker of my wifes recommended Horizon and they have been absolutely wonderful. Everyone there is incredible and they treat our furry children as if they were their own. We had originally went to another vet that was right down the street from us on 104th, but after a really bad experience we switched and are extremely glad we did.

Great vet, get friendly and kind. We recently moved to the area with a chronically ill dog and they were exceedingly helpful. Went out of there way dealing with our old vet to get proper records. All of the staff was great especially the Doctor. Will be taking all of our pets there in the future.

Love this vet!! Everyone is friendly very affordable. Has late appointmemt times which work for us. Our dog cut his foot pretty bad and they did awesome in stitching him up. Love this place.

So kind and caring. Had to have our Grayhound put to sleep due to her having a stroke they gave us all the possible options and chances of her out come. We now take all our animals to them
