It is unfortunate that I have to write this review. This vet doesnt even deserve 1 star. My mother has been taking her dog, Angel, to this vet for 4 years. Last week she called during office hours to get her dog in. Angel was not eating, very lethargic and confused. This was very out of the ordinary for a 4 year old Weimaraner. They refused to see her that day. My mother was forced to take her to another vet where she was diagnosed with IMHA, a rare autoimmune disease. She was sent to a 24 hour hospital where she was kept for 3 days. The hospital informed my mother that if she didn’t bring Angel in when she did Angel would have died that night. My mother called this vet to let them know Angel was in the hospital and to please have the Doctor call her. Over a week later and the doctor has still yet to call. My mother will never take her dog to this vet ever again.

We adopted a dog from the Denver Dumb Friends League on Sunday. They included local vets who provide a free exam for your new pet. I called yesterday and they were able to see us today. I chose Parkside because it is a new business in the neighborhood and I enjoy supporting local businesses. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful...especially Dr. Eisenhauer. She spent a LONG time with us and did a very thorough exam. She asked us lots of questions about our home and planned activity with our dog so she could make the best plan for taking care of Aspen. She explained the health risks associated with the breed and regional issues in Colorado. I left feeling as if we had found a vet who really cared about our dog as much as we do.

I love Parkside, Brenda and her amazing team. My English bulldog puppy had an infection on his tail and after I took him to the ER, I was still left with a lot of questions and concerns. The next day I called Parkside and they already had the fax from the ER Vet and talked to me about his condition. Not only did they look over the visit record from the night before they got us meds for his pain and infection. I greatly appreciate everything they did my bully really appreciates it more! Thank you for your concern, you treat animals like family members not just pets. All my animals see her and I recommend this place to everyone I know. Thanks for making this new mom feel much better!

I have taken four animals to this place and every time I have been helped in a courteous and friendly fashion. When my little tiny toy poodle was hurt, the vet placed a warm towel down to make my little girl more comfortable. The times I have gone have been timely and I will continue to. If I could rate this a 10+ I would. My animals even seem to like this place. I usually have to drag them in the door but here they are almost (almost!) eager to enter. I have referred many satisfied friends and family. This is one great place. Thank you Brenda Heyman for doing a fantastic job!!

These guys really care about the animals. Dr Winton will sit down on the floor with your pet to keep them comfortable instead of throwing them up on a cold hard metal table. Dr Barrow is excellent and caring. Dr E followed up in calls and email when my dog was feeling sick after his dental surgery. The vet techs also follow up after visits to make sure my dogs are doing well. They referred me out to a specialist when they could no longer help me. My Spanky is now in doggie heaven after a very unexpected and rare cancer took his life. I recommend this vet to everyone!

This place is wonderful! I cant say enough great things about them. We had 2 previous veterians before I found this one, and we wont be going anywhere anytime soon. Not only is the staff friendly and helpful, this place is also very clean. My puppy is very hyper & can be a challenge but they are more than understanding & make us feel comfortable. I feel like any issues they have gone above and beyond to try and help my dog. They are detailed and even call the next day to check up on very thing. Im very impressed by this place.

I unfortunately had to put my dog down due to a terrible accident. They were willing to help me even though I had never been there. The staff as well as the vet were very helpful and sensitive to the situation. Dr. Barrow even cried with us. I am very thankful for the people there. He was not an easy dog to deal with but they handled him very well. Thank you for all that you did for us!!

I cannot express the gratitude to Parkside Animal Health Center and everyone we spoke with. When we had to put a beloved pet to sleep they provided care that was compassionate and understanding. But they went the extra mile and followed up with us to ensure we were adjusting well. We will be taking all of our pets to them from now on.

Dr. Eisenhower is great. She and her staff take the time to get to know the animal AND the owner to better formulate a treatment plan. I have been taking my cats to her nearly since they opened. The original poster that rated them a 1 is seriously misleading with her review. They have my full trust

Dr. Eisenhower redefined the quality of Munchkins life. She spends tons of time with her patients to make sure they get the perfect care. Munchkin is now kitty heaven. Dr. E. was very generous with her time when it was time to say goodbye. I refer everyone to Parkside.
