I had a terrible experience. While I was having a miscarriage nurse Sonia didnt even call me back. Ive yet to have received a response from them, a month later. I called a week before the miscarriage because I felt I was having one and, though I called when they opened, she didnt call me back until 4pm and told me that I was probably having a period. She didnt talk with the doctor and request blood tests or anything. A week later, when I actually was having the miscarriage she never called me back. I got in touch with another gynecology office and the nurse there helped me through the whole process. She called me several times that day and even followed up with me after the weekend. When I went to see my new doctor, she was shocked that I wasnt brought in for blood tests the first time I called. She was also shocked to find out that they were giving me ultrasounds every 14 days on Clomid despite the fact that I told them the first two rounds I was having 60 day periods. None of this that I brought up to Sonia was addressed. Finally, I did get pregnant on my fourth round and thats when they completely dropped the ball. This was not the first time I hadnt gotten a call back from them. During my Clomid rounds, I called several times about an issue and waited over a week until finally the receptionist got through to Sonia to provide me with some sort of answer. This time, I wasnt going to go through the unnecessary hassle of having to track her down. Im now happy at another office and hoping this review will help save someone else a horrible experience.

As a 42 year old woman with 4 children, Dr. Penrose is the BEST OB I have ever had, hands down! She was recommended to me by a few work colleagues and I have now been a patient of hers for more than 8. I have never looked back. Her bedside manner is amazing, I have never once felt rushed or unheard. She always remembers personal things about my life and takes the time to make small talk and ask about how I am doing. If I have ever needed a consultation for a problem or had a question outside of my normal appt, she has taken the time to come to the phone or call me after normal office hours. Dr Penrose is easy to talk to and very down to earth. My appointments with her honestly feel like catching up with a girlfriend instead of having an exam.. I have also had great experiences with the receptionists, Liza-Nurse Practitioner (also really amazing!) and Sonya the PA. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending her and do so on a regular basis. **With that being said, I am not familiar with the other Dr.s at Generations and have heard some bad feedback on the male in the practice. But stick with Dr Penrose and I guarantee you will be more than happy**

Dr. Penrose is by far the best OBGYN I have ever had. I have been seeing her for 16 years. She delivered both of my boys - now 7 & 9, and helped me to be able to have a successful VBAC with #2. She is kind and trustworthy. I have always had excellent luck having good nurses and office staff at my visits. I would highly recommend her to any woman seeking quality OBGYN healthcare.
