I brought my grandson for an appointment here, what a mistake. Dont let the Childrens Hospital name fool you. They are not the same. Other than being next door to the hospital, this place is no different than any other clinic off of Colfax. You can tell the staff is overwhelmed by the sheer volume and pace of care at the clinic. The staff was rude, unprofessional and our care was rushed from beginning to end. I brought my grandson in for a routine cleaning. I volunteered because my daughter could not take off time from work and I thought it would be easy--it was anything but. The hygienist that was working on my grandson was pulled out mid-cleaning by some lady so abruptly it left Ryan confused. Needless to say he was terrified the rest of the treatment. My daughter comes here because she is low-income but I am already researching clinics that accept medicare as well. I would advise you to weigh other options carefully before coming to the clinic. On the other side, the Hospital itself is amazing. My grandson developed a respiratory infection last summer; his care was the most gentle and positive experience I have seen in a hospital setting. This clInic is fantastic! I started taking my daughters there after a much fancier dental office missed a cavity and mouth tumor. The equipment is state-of-the-art, they have best-in-class dental procedures, and the staff are super-competent. The waiting room is large and full of people from all over the world. Since the wait is always short, I consider that a positive. We have insurance and could go anywhere, but this is my top choice.

My kids have gone here for many years and have always had a wonderful experience. Yes, they are crammed full of patients, always....but the experience has always been a positive one.
