Its always been my experience with this particular vet that they will try to up-sell you on things you dont need. It gets very annoying, almost like going to a mechanic who tries to tell you tell you things are broken that are not. Some examples of this are how they push heartworm treatment, (typically not needed in Colorado) pushing de-worming treatments, even when the dog didnt have worms and had already had the treatment on the last visit (they should have seen that in their records) and scheduling multiple excessive followup visits at $40 a pop. They have a young staff that is very glued to their "procedures." This is great, but they should also balance this practice with instinct and common sense. Its not their job to tell you that your 5 month old puppy is undisciplined (arent they all) or that you shouldnt use a specific medicine or treatment that youve successfully used for years. Wait times were about 25 minutes (past appointment time) and we were the only ones there. Overall, they mean well but just need to polish their business and mannerisms a bit. Theyre a small town clinic with a lot of potential to be the "go to" vet for everyone in the area. Hopefully they seize that opportunity or someone else will.

I now know why I never heard a recommendation for this clinic. The vet that came out after I fully had explained a problem with my horse and why I needed a procedure done in a certain way and where was insisting she had to do it the way that had put my horses life in danger before. She then proceeded to ask a bunch of questions and tell the stable owner how to feed her and charged me for a consultation I never asked for and a fecal that I never asked for. After all that she said if I wanted her to come back and do the other procedure her own way and put my horses life in danger it would cost me $230 more, which is $50 over the highest estimate I was given for the procedure. When I contacted the clinic owner about it she said that I had asked for all the things I was charged for and has now accused me of bad mouthing bashing. The stable owner said he does not use that clinic, but uses one from a different town. The trainer I used with my horse uses one from Aurora and will not use Living Springs. Try to let them know they will lose business treating people that way and they get very rude. The vet was even yelling at me and interrupting me on the phone. Cant even give them a 1 star rating at this point.

Although the assisting vet technician was very sweet and understanding, the doctor I saw, who shall remain nameless, was an arrogant, condescending, judgmental and rude bigot (which definitely explained why my mom was reluctant to take her pet to the vet in the first pace). It was the first, and last, time I will ever go to this clinic. I really hope the vet tech finds a job somewhere else before this clinic goes under (and I sincerely hope it does). Also, the dog kennel that I used to work at in Bennett would drive the extra miles to take the dogs to the next town over in Strasburg. The owners said they didnt like Living Springs Vet... now I know why.

Our last fur baby (12 year old Border Collie mix) died at home last Saturday evening. We called Living Sprigs Vet after 5pm and got there vet on call. She was so sweet and met us at 7pm to take our precious boy from us. Two years ago our other fur baby (10 year old Lab) became ill and they were there to help us with the tough decision and helped us through the process of putting him to rest. This team is amazing and we appreciate them! Thank you for always being there when we are facing our worst moments!

We take all three of our dogs here to Living Springs. We have had nothing but wonderful service and friendly atmosphere whenever we come in. We have brought our dogs in for normal check ups, neutering and even surgery, all have gone well. When we had to put our beloved family dog down two years ago due to complications with his aging their staff went above and beyond to show their love and compassion for animals. I still drive in from Centennial, CO to take my dogs here, wouldnt trust anyone else.

4/06/13 - Everyone was very helpful & pleasant. We drove out from the Denver Metro area to find a country veterinary clinic as we are from a small town in Texas and we found exactly what we were looking for. Dr. Jennifer Casebeer is very well educated, patient w/ our questions, sensitive to our pets ailment, and articulate with her diagnosis. There charges for our visit was reasonable as I highly recommend Living Springs Veterinary Care to anyone looking for quality pet care ! ! !

Do not leave your dogs TPLO in Kerrihards hands-you will end up with huge bills to repair what this quack has done to your pet. The guys got an ego the size of Pikes Peak. He could care less about your animal OR you. I had heard from other vets that he had stopped doing TPLO, so Im surprised that he is advertising his expert surgical skills. Every time I have mentioned his name to a vet repairing his damage they have the same response, "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

Everyone on staff here is amazing. We just went through a tough 8 months with my elderly dog, Joey. Dr Casebeer & her staff were always there for him & for us. Months of tests to monitor him & tons of questions were always answered. Although it was expensive, it would have cost twice as much in the city & the level of care would have dropped. I would recommend this office to anyone that has pet that they love or an animal that needs quality care.

took dog in to remove lump on foot (simple procedure). Older girl (10ish) but had blood work done, no other medical issues. She died during recovery - with oops sorry and only cost $600 to kill her instead of $900 to remove the lump. Everything I have researched suggests that her oxygen levels were not monitored correctly during the anesthesia process in order to have her heart fail in recovery. Beware

My wife worked for the clinic, and after Dr. Kirkpatrick left, she took our horses to Greeley to Countryside anyway (they are AWESOME!!!) LSVC can do simple stuff, but I wouldnt let them diagnose anything, especially with horses. Strasburg recently helped us with a very hard decision and their "bedside manner" wasnt that of veterinarian who has proven time and time again that she could care less.
