I have been going to this location for almost a year now. I get blood drawn about once every two to four months sometimes more. I have had different technicians at different times draw my blood. Each tech has been polite, patient, and oftentimes going out of their way to help me when I needed extra paperwork etc. I never waited for very long to be seen or attended to either. So for me I give 5 out of 5 stars for doing a job I would never want to do. And doing it well! Even while being yelled at! There have been occasions, for example when a woman started yelling at a tech. The woman felt she should go before everyone else because she was fasting and didn’t want to wait. She called the tech names and was down right mean! I felt sorry for the lady because she clearly seemed out of her mind, and for the tech who had to deal with her.....The tech handled the situation and was able to calm her down, but it wasn’t easy. There were similar incidents that have occurred where these tech should be getting paid not just to draw blood, but to be psychiatrist and peace makers! Just sayin!

Been having lab work done for 3 years (for 18 months going once a week) and have some experience. I started at the Labat Vickers. Was always a line of 10/15 people when it opened. They were moved pretty quickly but still took an hour or more and it was factory like. The one at Scarborough is a smaller operation (just the one tech). Over three years have had three lab techs. The first two were lovely people; if you didnt get that reaction, perhaps you should examine how you treated them (I observed a lot of callous behavior from the clientele while there). I went either first thing (0730) or late morning and rarely waited longer than 10-15 min. The new guy (I say new... hes been there several months now) is a bit of an oddball and had some prickly comments to make about my job that I found inappropriately personal, but hes a good tech and again I havent had to wait longer than 10-15 min. Once in the chair Im out in 5-10 min. If you are so crunched for time you cant afford that, you need to set an appt.

I visited LabCorp to have a blood draw for some tests ordered by my doctor. I entered the suite at 8:55AM. I left the suite at 9:04AM. All the needed work was done. I cant imagine that any place can average that speed, but it happened for me. The person drawing my blood was the best lab tech I have ever had. I learned to fear blood draws from having techs "dig" for the vein. Digging hurts. The lab tech lined it up, was friendly, and put it right in. No digging. It felt about the same as getting a shot. I dont mind those at all. If for some weird reason I find myself needing a blood draw again, this is where I will go. PS. I looked at other reviews and they mentioned not have a receptionist. At the time I arrived, there was a receptionist. I dont think it would have gone as well without one. Im not sure if the wait times are usually bad or not. The lab tech that got negative reviews (below) was a man. The woman who was incredible had "Ara" on her name tag. I suggest asking for her.

If you enjoy a miserable experience while being hated on and ignored, this is the place for you. We wont go back. Weve been there twice before (this visit was our third), but theyve changed staff. We stood at the front desk for almost 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. There were only 2 people working there. Neither would look you in the eyes nor would they answer your questions facing your direction. We were there at 8:15 am. It took 90 minutes before our blood was drawn. Really? There were only a few people in there and it was NOT like this on the previous couple of visits. Why do companies hire employees with bad "people skills" to deal with the public? Seriously, go somewhere else. We will!

If you make an appointment on the website its not too bad. I had an appointment for 9 and was sitting in the chair getting my blood drawn by then. They do need a receptionist to check everyone in as the tech currently is the only person there and has to do both check in an any lab tests. He was very good with the drawing blood. If you just walk in be prepared to wait. However, the waiting room is nicely decorated and looks clean.

The one star is for the employees who are usually giving their best. Zero stars for every time we come there is not enough help. Multiple times we have come and had to leave. If you try to make an appointment, you cant get one the day before or day of. Sometimes Ive tried to make one a week or more ahead and still couldnt get the time I needed.

It took 2 hours to draw blood. way to long during my workday. I feel like they need to have more people working there at all times. Im told that the majority of the time there is only one person doing everything including check in, paper wrok and blood drawing. Not advisable if time is important to you>

I had Alyssa as my technician today and she was wonderful! She was the only one working, but she was very efficient and did a great job. She even made time to make sure I was okay after getting my blood drawn because I felt pretty weak afterwards. Thank you, Alyssa!

I have been to Labcorp probably 3x and every time its great. Sherri is amazing as was the girl I had yesterday. I have tricky veins and they do a great time every time. I love the first come first serve basis as well. Great job ladies.

Terrible experience. I was the only one there and still waited forever. The bathroom was disgusting and the guy left a huge bruise on my arm because he went through my vein and had to back out. I will never go back.

The staff is argumentative and very unhappy, the business processes are less than unorganized, all around a office to avoid if you can find another location.

Receptionist/technician was only person on duty. Was extremely rude. No hello or welcome...just told me to sign in and sit down. Very poor experience.

If you are looking for a quick lab check, this is not the place. They only have one person working there at all times and the wait can be quite long.

Wow - more than one worker would be a great idea.
