My wife & I recently moved to Colorado Springs. We were referred to Premier Dental Care by one of my wifes friends. My first visit was yesterday. When I called to make an appointment, I was duly impressed by the manner in which my call was handled. The first representative with whom I spoke is Lanna. She answered my many questions in a very personable and professional manner. She transferred me to Deborah who actually scheduled my first visit. Deborah was very courteous, worked with me to schedule the appointment, discussed my insurance coverage and provided me with excellent directions to their facility. I failed to obtain the name of the representative who greeted me at the counter when I arrived for my appointment. She was courteous and helpful as I completed the new patients forms. I watched several members of their team greet patients who arrived after I did or those who were called for their appointments before I was. Without exception, each staff member greeted each patient by name and in a friendly manner. Dr. Michael Harris and his assistant, Jane, were very courteous and explained the steps they were taking to get me oriented as one of their new patients. I enjoyed their casual yet professional manner during our conversations. Although Im not a person who dreads dental or medical appointments, Im certain they could put anyone at ease. Jane was assisted at one point by another assistant whose name I failed to obtain. This lady was very courteous and appeared to also be very skilled with her duties. I dont write reviews as often as I should, but I wanted to be sure to share my "first contact" and "first visit" experiences at the Premier Dental Care. It probably seems peculiar that I would write that Im looking forward to returning for further dental care - but its true. I appreciate courteous and friendly contact when I visit anywhere. I certainly enjoyed my contact with the members of the Premier Dental Care team yesterday. I am very grateful for the referral that my wife received from her friend. She did our family a big favor.

This whole office is super unprofessional and shady. My mom had been going to this dentist for almost 10 years. I had started going here too when my regular dentist relocated. I was happy with this office as far as my cleanings. After seeing this dentist for about a year I had to get a root canal on one of my back teeth. The receptionist called me about a week later with the quote, I was going to have to pay $125 out of pocket after insurance. I scheduled my appointment and also had my mom call . When I get to the back AFTER my mouth is already numb the assistant was explaining everything they were going to do, it sounded like way more work than what I was told on the phone. So I asked, ok and all this is only $125 out of pocket? She looked at me funny and had to go double check with the front desk. She comes back to inform me that I would have to pay $500 for that visit. Of course I wasnt prepared to pay $500 vs $125 that I was quoted. Long story short he still only did the root canal without a crown. NOW my insurance wont cover a crown because apparently he didnt do the root canal right. Now I would LOVE to think that this dentist wouldnt purposefully mess up a root canal, knowing that insurance wont cover the crown now. I feel this was purposefully because the dentist started being rude to me as if this was my fault that his STAFF gave us misinformation. The reason my insurance wont cover it is because its an improper root canal. Whether this was an accident or not its extremely inconvenient and costing me thousands of dollars. I wouldnt recommend this dentist to anyone as they are extemely petty when you dont allow them to try and scam you.

I have had MORE than a great experience with this office. Dr. Harris has been so, so kind and empathetic with my fear of the dentist. I always feel comfortable and calm while I am there and he makes sure to seriously utilize all of the time I have scheduled with him. I have had to have an extensive amount of dental work done this year, and at no part of it have I felt like I wasnt in the best hands possible!! I recommend Dr. Harris to any adult or child - he is so kind and understanding that there isnt a way for you not to love him! My hygienist always has me leaving the office feeling clean and happy! She is very informative and always gives me great tips and tricks to keep my mouth in good shape. And she is very friendly and funny too! In addition, the office staff has showed nothing but up most professionalism! They are always kind and prompt on the phone and in person. I have no complaints about the way I have been handled with appointments, payments, and insurance discrepancies. Love this office! A definite first-choice when looking to fix or maintain your smile!

I initially thought they were a good place for my dental work but the last time i saw them they promised to send me recommended plans for my teeth. After a month or so i called them about it. The receptionist was fully aware of their promise and said they tried to reach me 3 times. I never received a call from them. No missed calls and no messages. She said she would email me the plans. That was two weeks ago and nothing yet. If i cant trust you then i dont need you. About a week or so after this post i received a call from the dentist. He left a message implying that I(emphasis) was the reason for my own disappointment!! I had no problem until you guys reneged on your promise to send me what you promised! Ironically, your call through to me on the same number the office staff claimed they used but couldnt reach me. Coincidentally, you knew i was waiting on a product but you still didnt offer to and havent sent it! I dont know what kind of business protocol this is but it sucks!

Ive gone to this dentist for about 8 years. Dr Humphries is easy going and has a good bed side manner. Ive had two fillings and it all went normal. My kids also go here and like the Dr. Ive noticed periods of time where an office staff member didnt do things correctly. I pointed it out and they were more than willing to make it right and explain why they did it that way. I got the 30 day bill too and asked about it. They explained that it said that on the bill- but wasnt reported to any collection agency and it was a glitch. Ive run offices- nothing can be perfect all the time. Im only giving four stars since after all this is a dentist- I dont know anyone that loves to go to any dentist??

My family and I have been going to Premier Dental Care since 2009. I am very grateful I was able to find a dentist and staff that are so professional and kind. I have full confidence in the doctor’s recommendations and front office staff handling my insurance and account. My son had a weekend emergency and the doctor came in immediately on a Sunday to help him with a knocked out front tooth. My sons front tooth was saved due to the doctors quick selfless response. A few years ago I broke a molar during the week of Christmas! The office got me in and taken care of same day, it was much unexpected. I recommend this office to anyone looking for an excellent, reliable dental office.
