This Dentist office was recommended by my dentist for my son, when we first went everything was nice they looked professional they made it a great experience. On our first trip we found out that he had four cavities so we set up a treatment plan for him to have them filled. The woman setting up the plan wasnt very prepared and then continued to tell us it was her first day. The plan was to fill the cavities without fully sedating him they would just make him a little sleepy and then fill them. The day of the filling they prepped him and took him back, they said if anything went wrong they would come out and let us know. Because he couldnt eat before the procedure (we scheduled it in the morning seeing that my son was only 4 so he could sleep when he was fasting) my husband and I didnt eat breakfast so we werent teasing him. While he went back they told us it was fine to run through a drive thru and so we did. We were gone about 10 mins when we got back we sat in the lobby and ate and watched the movie they had on. While sitting in the lobby a heard a child screaming like they were being killed. I walked to the front desk and asked how everything was going, the receptionist told me she would go and check, as she walked to the back to open the door the screaming became significantly louder. At that moment I knew that was my child! The receptionist came back out and said they had been having trouble with the partial sedation. I went back to see they had my baby strapped to the chair screaming with people holding him down, his shoes were off and it was just looked disastrous. At this time I said enough was enough let me try to calm him so they could proceed, they said parents couldnt be in the room and the 1hr and a half we had been there they werent able to fill any cavities and that we would have to reschedule to go to the hospital and have him fully sedated. The hospital visit of course is more money and then they wanted us to pay for todays visit for the fillings and and then again next time even though no cavity was filled. I refused they then said they would forward my already paid deposit to the hospital billing. I rescheduled the appointment for the hospital and then paid the amount on full amount to proceed as needed. The day of the new procedure everything went excellent! Well so I thought, 6months later I start received a letter saying we would be dismissed from the practice if you did not pay for the procedure in full and it would be sent to a creditor . I then called the dentist office and they said that we had a past due account and that it had not been paid in full of course at this time I knew I had paid and I wanted to know why it was still a balance left. Of course at this time the woman who it was only her first day who set up the treatment plan no longer worked there. I spoke to the new person in charge of treatment and she sent me the reasoning why there was still a balance. When I over reviewed the paperwork I seen that in the hospital they filled another tooth that was NOT talked about that needed a filling. They never made it apparent that there was another tooth that needed to be filled and then billed me later. They then said the miscommunication was my fault and that they knew that they didnt tell me but someone should have and still charged me. I ended up paying the balance but feel it is absolutely outrageous and I would not recommend this Dentist office to anyone looking to take their child to a safe place to feel comforted and have a good dental experience.

Saddle Rock Pediatric Dentistry just lost two lifelong patients. We have taken our boys there since they got their first teeth, but today they just destroyed that whole relationship. Both boys had appointments at the same time. We were FOUR minutes late and the first thing the receptionist said to me (no hello or anything) was "Ill have to check to see if we can still see them." She then disappeared for another four or five minutes. When she returned, she said, "Unfortunately, there isnt enough time to see them so youll have to reschedule." Four minutes??!! If you run your practice so tightly that you cant absorb four minutes somewhere, theres a problem. The receptionist also made a comment about how if they still saw our two kids that day that theyd then be behind on their other patients after that. Every other time we were in that office, we sat in the waiting room for at least 5 or 10 minutes before being seen. I dont think running four minutes behind schedule is unheard of! The care we received in the past was acceptable, although the hygienists over the years have been hit or miss. Many of them seemed to not be very patient with little ones, but there have been a couple that were what youd expect at a pediatric dentists office - sweet and gentle. As someone else mentioned, Ive never been thrilled with Dr. Fosters bedside manner - we preferred Dr. Paddy once he joined the practice, but apparently he left there recently. Its unfortunate that they treat their patients the way they do. Its a nice, clean office that was set up to make kids feel at ease (games in the waiting area, videos for the kids to watch while in the exam chair, tokens for a prize for no cavities, a plastic cup full of dental supplies to take home.) It seems there has been a lot of staff turnover there lately. Oh, and parking is always a challenge there. Heck, thats where we probably burnt up those four minutes we were late!

I was not impressed with the front of office staff. I had completed all of the forms online thinking that this would move the process along for our first appt. We were 15 min early for our appointment. About 4or 5 other families arrived after us for their appointments which ran at the same time as ours. As we sat waiting to be called back all of these other patients were taken back before us! 25 min after our appt time I asked what was going on and the only response was "We are uploading your forms and transferring them over". Should this not have been done before our appointment?!? Otherwise what was the reason for me to spend 30min filling them in online to only have to wait 35min past our appointment time to even be called back!?!? So because no one had uploaded these firms before our appt we were left waiting while many other people were called back! Once we finally went back it was only to find out that my children were not scheduled at the same time but back to back! Another bit of info that should have been shared with me at the time of the booking! We ended up being in the office for over 2 hours!!! Not acceptable!

We saw Dr. Foster for our 5 year old with sensory issues. The receptionist was nice. However, Dr. Foster had the attitude of a half god in white. Not very talkative after the initial "hi". She didnt make my kid (or me) feel at ease. The worst part was when she just dictated the findings to her assistant without talking to me about the possible procedures. She answered reluctantly and with an annoyed attitude when I asked her what that means that she is talking about. She especially didnt like it when I questioned her (questionable) choice of treatment to do 2 silver bridges and possibly a baby root canal treatment on my kid. 1: I told her no silver fillings will enter my kids mouth, and 2: no root canal treatment has ever been proven to be safe, lasting, and necessary on baby teeth! Are you kidding me lady?? Then, without further explanation, we were whisked away to the all-important financial clerks office that discussed with me how we could afford the costly treatments. NEVER again!
