I just had my LASIK procedure yesterday, and Im happy to say that one day later, Im able to see my computer screen to type this lovely review! Overall, I had a tremendous experience! From beginning to end, the customer service and quality of care was on point! For those who are thinking about getting LASIK, Id totally recommend that you choose 20/20 Institute (and that you dont wait)! Special kudos to Mark and team for the great customer service you provided! Also, special thanks to Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Danzo for the "better-than-perfect" vision treatment! For a more detailed review of my experience, see below. Consultation: When I walked in the door, the staff were very courteous and made me feel at home (coffee and treats in hand!). The consultation lasted for about 45 minutes, and 20/20 did a great job providing me with all the information I needed to consider whether LASIK is right for me. They provided me with the pricing for both eyes and let me sit around to ask any other questions I wanted. Throughout the whole process, I never felt pressured to make a decision, and the folks at 20/20 were candid about all the risks with the procedure. Obviously, not scary enough for me not to commit to get my eyes zapped :) Dilation: After I committed to a surgery date, they brought me in to get my eyes dilated to make sure all was well with my eyes. Similarly to the consultation, the staff I met were freakishly nice and welcoming. They walked me through the whole process, step-by-step, to make sure I understood what was going on. I usually grade my providers based on their ability to translate medical terms into easily, digestible content to help me - as a patient and consumer - understand whats going on. Overall, the dilation process was great, which made me even more excited to get the surgery. Surgery: From start-to-finish, the process took about 1.5 hours. Similarly to my previous encounters, the staff were really nice and comforting (even during the busyness of the holiday season!). The staff made sure I felt ready for the procedure and asked multiple times if I had any concerns. They were fairly transparent about how I would feel while under the laser which really helped set expectations. During the procedure, the staff in the room were great cheerleaders and made sure I felt as comfortable as possible with all the junk they put in my eye. 10 minutes later...I was done! Post-op: This morning, I drove myself to the office for my post-op check up (win!). I cannot rave enough how sweet the staff were, especially on Christmas Eve. I usually encounter a grinch or two when Im off and about on Christmas Eve, but the folks at 20/20 were so peppy that it even made me happy to go shopping afterward for some last minute Christmas gifts. The first post-op appointment took about 10 minutes to make sure my flaps were nice and sealed. Pranced out the office with a wonderful experience, and I hope you will do the same! I had such a great experience and I cant emphasize enough how happy I am about their customer service and quality of care. I almost want to have a refinement so that I can encounter these folks again (totally kidding but thats how awesome they are). If only they could train my dentist to be as nice and less painful! Anyway, thanks for reading my review! Cheers to you, and have a very, Merry Christmas!

I usually dont write online reviews, in fact this is my first and I am doing so because The 20/20 Institute really deserved it. I had my surgery 4 days ago and I am seeing crystal clear, but that was expected as I had already done some extensive research on the Institute prior to selecting it as my number one choice, so let me go into some of the things I experienced at The 20/20 Institute that truly blew me away. Going into the surgery I was pretty nervous because I knew I had EXTREMELY sensitive eyes, so sensitive that in the past I went through on average about a bottle of saline solution a week due to the fact that the slightest trace of anything on my contact lenses ruined my entire day (this happened a lot). That being said, the thing that really impressed me was the speed, accuracy and precision of the entire LASIK procedure, which took less than 10 minutes for both eyes. From everything I had read about LASIK, I expected to at-least be in discomfort for about 6 or 8 hours after the surgery, if not more due to my exceptional eye sensitivity - that is not what I experienced. Immediately following the surgery, I could already see well enough to comfortably get around and had mild discomfort in my eyes, this discomfort reached its peak about 2 hours after the surgery and was comparable to having a small piece of dust in my contact lenses. 4 hours after the surgery, I had absolutely no pain and was seeing 20/20. I think that in itself speaks volumes about the talent of the surgical team. For that to happen, I know that everything from the first laser incision to the placement of the flap back over the sculpted cornea had to be meticulous. Another thing, I have a history of dry eyes and I am only experiencing dry eyes at night and actually experiencing better water retention in both my eyes than I did before LASIK. As for the staff at the 20/20 institute, they are also outstanding. Dr. Danzo made me feel very confident that everything about my eyes was being accounted for and conducted multiple tests to ensure my prescription was accurate. Mark has got the perfect mix of knowledge and charisma to make you feel like your listening to your old college buddy tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about the entire LASIK procedure. The whole place is truly a class act and I would recommend it to anyone considering LASIK.

20/20 LASIK is THE premier LASIK center in Denver. I wanted to take care of my eyes and my vision because I feel it is one of the most important senses that I have. 20/20 feels the same way. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the utmost respect and care. The entire time I was in there for my initial consultation, Mark, was with me the whole time never passing me off to another technician or staff member. He stayed with me and answered any questions that I had. And if he didnt know, he was quick to go get someone that could. Even once I left, he was willing to answer emails or phone calls with additional questions that I drummed up after doing a little more research. I visited a couple other locations in Denver to see what the market was like and what I should expect. This is an elective procedure and so I wanted to be able to choose the best. The other places I visited seemed to not put the customer first, and were there to see as many people as possible. Although a couple were cheaper than 20/20 (and some more expensive) none were as customer-friendly and catering as 20/20. Other institutes might tell you what they think is best for your procedure, only offering a certain "level" of LASIK based on what they think. With this being elective, I want the best that is available and not what is "good enough" to get me seeing without glasses or contacts. The day of my procedure went off without a hitch and they were again, very hospitable to me and my wife. The procedure went by in the blink of an eye and before I knew it, I was standing up and able to see the world crisp and clear! I HIGHLY recommend 20/20 LASIK for anyone who is even interested in getting rid of their contacts or glasses. They go through rigorous diagnostics to make sure that you will get the most out of the procedure and that you will not be dissatisfied or disappointed. It has only been a couple days since my procedure, but Im extremely happy with everything and would do it in a heartbeat, if need be.
