I visited and researched several other places before my neighbor recommended this place and now I will never take my furry kiddos anywhere else. Dr. Fattor (and staff) is an absolutely amazing veterinarian and his genuine care and concern for you and your pets is unmatched by anyone Ive ever been to. I had a rocky start with my 2 new Doberman pups (comparable to having 2 consistently ill and accident-prone toddlers). Coupled with normal puppy shots, spay and neutering and some reconstructive tail docking surgery - one of the pups broke a toe, cracked a tooth at doggy daycare that had to be extracted, hurt a leg...then both came down with a two week long stomach flu - immediately followed by eye infections. All within the first 8 months of me having them. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place has been. Everything from last minute scheduling needs, treatment, follow up and charges; has far exceeded any and all expectations I could ever want from a vet. Dr. Fattor is not only an amazing vet...but quite simply an amazing human being (one who will stay after hours on a Friday to treat your animals without charging you extra and gives you his personal cell phone number so you can text him updates over the weekend). To the docs and staff who have taken such wonderful care of me and my babies - a most grateful and heartfelt thank you. In a world where we have been forced to accept poor customer service, conditioned to distrust others and over-charged for mediocre services - Green Mountain Hospital definitely surpasses the status quo and I cannot recommend them enough.

LOVE.... seriously, Dr. Fattor has been our family vet for decades, he is absolutely the best there is, not kidding! Kathy is awesome, I love how I can just call up and she instantly knows who I am and who my girls are. Makes me feel like me and my girls really matter to them! They are smart, kind and love every animal that comes in there! What is more important though is that my girls LOVE going to the Vet... yes you read that right, how many people can say that their animals arent scared to go to the Vet? All of the animals that go to Green Mountain thats how many! You have to visit there and experience it for yourself, but trust me you wont regret it, they are truly the best! They wont rip you off, their prices are reasonable and they wont suggest unnecessary things for your animals. Love my peeps over at Green Mountain!

One of the best vets in the front range, and ive been to several. They were able to get my dog in within 30 minutes of calling, on a monday morning without an appointment. The doctor went out of her way to accommodate us and even presented us with options to save money vs just telling us we need x,y,z unnecessary pills & procedures. She made me feel very confident in her assessment of my 170lb anatolian shepherd, who we had brought in to treat an infection that was making it hard for him to walk. She answered every single question with honesty, and Im grateful for that. Within a week of treatment, our 170lb fur baby is back to his happy self. We are so grateful! I can see why the other reviewers mentioned driving out of their way to this vet--theyre absolutely worth the drive if youre not local.

My husband and I live in Aurora but will always commute so our pups get the best care. My mom works for Green Mountain so I have known the entire staff for as long as I can remember. Not only are they talented, hard working, and compassionate, but they are amazing people who will go above and beyond to help every animal and put every client at ease. I remember many times Dr. Fattor would stay the night in his office to keep an eye on any animals staying over night so their fluid lines didnt get stopped, they recovered from surgery well, etc. The amount of care they demonstrate is outstanding. Ive been to many vet clinics when I lived in Fort Collins - even the CSU Teaching Hospital, and NONE of them even come close to Green Mountain Animal. Highly recommend!!!!!

Dr. Fattor has been my vet for nearly 30 years, and all of the wonderful things said about him mirror my experience as well. I drive more than 50 miles to visit his practice, if that gives you any indication of the trust I place in him and his staff. Not only is he incredibly caring, kind and dedicated, but my experience is that he is exceptionally astute, thorough and knowledgeable about how to heal our animal companions. He has caring, knowledgeable staff, Beth and Kathy, who have been with him for many years, and who have likewise been there for me and my pets during their health challenges. I am oh-so-grateful for having found Green Mountain Animal Hospital.

Dr. Garms and staff are all so wonderful. No matter what the situation, they are always happy and able to see our little FurBaby within 24 hours. Theyre very welcoming and patient, especially with "helicopter" parents like us. Theyre gentle and loving with our dog who is very anxious but knows his Dr. Garms and quickly relaxes when he sees her. They take the time to educate and seek the best solution for your pet care, even if its non-traditional - they will walk you through the process and check in every step of the way. We will never see another Dr or practice as long as we live in this area!

Dr. Fattor is amazing! He has cared for our three cats (and one rabbit) for the last 11 years. He truly cares about the animals he treats. It is quite evident by the way he interacts with them. He was also very kind and caring towards my husband and me when we have lost pets. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone looking for a vet in the Lakewood/Golden area. Or even the entire metro area! His excellent care for your pets is certainly worth the extra driving time.

Everything was great!! They were able to get me in quick, and was very nice on the phone and in person. Was very concerned about my dog, but was relieved after a quick check up with our veterinarian. Even clipped his nails down, and did a follow-up a few days later. Cost was worth every penny!!! Great place, will continue to use on all my pets. Thanks!!

Dr. Fattor is a great vet, very professional and cares about your pets. I have two standard poodles and he always gives them great treatment with very reasonable prices. Never had a feeling like other clinics that they push you to do unneeded treatments just to make money. I drive 30 minutes to their clinic and it definitely worth it.

We love Dr. Russell! She knows her stuff, clearly loves animals and patiently walked me through the complexities of my terriers skin allergies. I could tell she really wanted to help find a solution, not just a temporary band aid, one that would work for my dog and without breaking the bank. Great communication and friendly staff!
