I wish I could give 0 stars. I am going to tell my story with the hope that you do not fall into the same trap I did. I found a lump on my dogs chest and naturally I got nervous about it. So I got an appointment here since this is where my family has always come. Dr. V is really good but I have decided that the other Vets at this location are not trust worthy and Dr. V is too busy. I got my dog checked out - one of the other Dr.s looked at my dog, Thor. She immediately recommended that I put my dog under to get his teeth cleaned. I immediately didnt like that. She then took a needle of the lump - She actually never found the lump when inspecting my dog. I had to point her to it. She took a needle and looked at the results under the microscope. I guess she didnt like it because she recommended surgery to remove it. I schedule the surgery but I should have asked questions - like Please give me a little more reason other than "I dont like the way this looks" anyway...I take my dog in for the surgery and I ask how much should I expect to pay when I come back? - I was told about $300, mind you this includes the biopsy which I was just told about. I didnt realize Thor needed a biopsy. In fact I thought I was getting a biopsy the first time I took my dog inn. At the end of the day when I go to pick up my dog. I was told that my bill is $498.99 which was 166% of what I was told to expect. This is not what pisses me off. Here is what pisses my off. I asked "What happens if the biopsy comes back as a positive?" The answer was not acceptable to me and made me realize I was getting the run around. I was getting ripped off. The answer was this: "Then we will have to go in an remove any remaining tissue." I was floored! Pissed!! "Why didnt you remove all the tissue this time?" "Oh, we did - we just want to be sure!" This is total BS. Why do surgery twice? I think it has to do with $$$$$$$ Do the biopsy first, please, as I requested. So that my dog only has to go under once. He was so drugged when I picked him up that I am not sure I even trust they used the right amount. Long story short, I would really recommend using a different vet. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope it saves you from some of the trouble I had to go through. Hoping your dog or cat lives a long life! Keegan Conley

Dr. Morton and her staff were amazing. Their prices are very reasonable and they are all very knowledgeable. Did I mention they have extended hours until 8pm?! That fits our lifestyle. We just adopted a puppy mill survivor of 7 years and this little bulldog needed some medical help. She checked her over, fixed and cleaned her spay stitches, treated the cysts on her paws from 7 years of wire cages, treated her eyes, set us up on a much needed vaccination schedule since her little body had never received a lepto vaccination before. She even recommended a food specialist, which I laughed at on the inside, but after going to the Pet Emporium, I am a believer. Our little momma is recovering quickly. The gal and I at the front desk googled the very expensive medicine she needed and found the best price and place to buy it. Should I mention it was their office? I love saving money and we knew what we were getting into with this rescue. The fact that they helped us, amazing. I handed over the medical records to our other two bull/boxer dogs. I couldnt be happier with their service and expertise. Looking forward to working with them. Did I mention the 4 girls on the front desk are constantly on the phone, helping clients, and so if you have to wait a few minutes to get a hold of them, it is so worth it. (Ive worked at a vet clinic and I know how urgent every call can be.) Thank you!! P.S. My husband says this sounds fake. He can suck it because he knows how much money we saved and how much help we got too!

Ive been bringing my dog to Table Mountain for ~6 months now and theyre alright, not the worst and not the best. The good is Dr. Sodowsky and one of the vet assistants, Alisha. Dr. Sodowsky is great: down to earth and very understanding of how I want to manage my dogs diabetes. He always has time to talk and never seems rushed, which is an accomplishment for such a large practice. Every time I run into Alisha she is always happy to see my dog and I and I really think she remembers us. Now for the bad. The receptionists are always grumpy. Expect to wait at least five minutes to be able to talk to someone on the phone. It usually takes 20-30 minutes after your appointment time before youll see the doctor. Finally, I brought my dog in for an emergency and had to see Dr. Valori, who is nasty. She was judgmental, rude, and terse and the next afternoon when I came to pick my dog up she had me wait for three hours after he was supposed to be ready and never apologized or gave an explanation.

Let me start by saying that TMVC is the best, and I would not take my (dog) family member anywhere else. The staff is so very caring and loving of all animals. The Doctors are always so helpful even if you think it is a stupid question they let you know that it is not. If I have an emergency I know that all I have to do is call. We have a Mastiff that is fearful of people and when I have to kennel him TMVC is the only place I can take him, they just love him and want to take him home, I had a hard weekend in April as I had to take my little girl in and send her to play in heaven and I have been treated with such care with making the appointment and knowing what is going to happen. We have been part of the TMVC family for about 9 years now and would never think about going anywhere else. I really hope you read this review and join the TMVC family knowing that you will just love the whole staff and experience. Thanks so much for reading my review Lynne

have taken my dogs and cats to this clinic for over 20 years, my kids bring their pets here also and they are not close by but want the best for their pets. have always had good care, have experienced some happy and some sad visits( have seen them when time for the last visit and time to go over the Rainbow Bridge) all the caregivers have been attentive, answer questions and good with practical suggestions and only refer to specialists if really necessary. always able to get appointment that fits my needs, always get in for emergency quickly and have had calls after visits to check on my critters. seem aware that finances are a factor for some pet problems and have always been willing to adjust but not compromise care. no need to look further, I never plan to take my pets anywhere else.
