Being a new resident of Connecticut, I was concerned I wouldnt be able to find a Dentist office my children would feel comfortable going to since they had an established office in New York. Luckily, I came across this office on google search, read some great reviews and had to give it a try. They were able to accommodate my children, an 8 year old and 4 year old very quickly within the same week for a New patient appointment. Upon arrival, I must say I wasnt expecting such a lovely office and waiting area which was equipped with tablets, gaming systems and a library section for the little ones entertainment as we waited to be seen. Our Dentisit , Dr.Erica Pitera greeted my children and I with a warm welcome and showed us to the rooms where the checkups were done. Both the Dental Hygenist and our Denist were exceptional, excellent with children, friendly and professional. Pictures were taken of the children next to a huge Frozen doll as remeberance of their first visit. If you are currently looking for a Pedicatric Dentisit, I strongly recommend giving a call and visiting this office. Your children will actually be excited for a visit to the dentisit!

We love Sweet Tooth! Every single staff member is, dare I say it, incredibly sweet (and always smiling). They always explain what they are doing in terms my kids will understand and are very comforting when anyone is a little nervous. When I voiced concerns following a traumatic filling experience for one of my kids, Dr. Erica took the time to really listen to me and help me form a plan for the remaining fillings. Because of that experience alone I know that my children are being cared for by someone who is truly passionate about her work. I couldnt ask for a better dental practice for my family.

Our experience with Dr. Erica Pitera and Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry was nothing short of amazing. It was wonderful to find a dentists office that is so caring and patient with children. Our kids actually look forward to their appointments! Something that really stands out with Dr. Pitera and her team is that they take the time during appointments to teach our kids about proper oral hygiene. I can tell they truly care about their jobs and the welfare of their patients. The facility is also extremely clean and modern. I feel lucky to have found this practice!

Dr. Erica and her staff are amazingly patient and kind, especially with my son who has Down syndrome. The dentist isnt his favorite place to go due to sensory issues and even daily brushing is difficult, but they are wonderful. They never make us feel badly and always work quickly to get him in and out of the chair. They accommodate us and our children and allow the children to have a say in their flavors and my daughter especially loved that. They truly are kind, compassionate, and loving people who make both of our kids feel welcome!

Dr. Erica and her staff are wonderful! They are definitely "sweet" and I especially appreciate how they get down on the kids level to talk and explain everything. Our family has healthy teeth, but my 5-year old daughter unfortunately has had some dental issues so our general dentist referred us to Sweet Tooth to make sure that she was in a comfortable environment for the work she needed to have done. I am very thankful that the experience has been practically painless and she has not developed any more cavities!

Both my children always look forward to coming here! The hygienists are wonderful and explain everything theyre doing so the kids know what to expect. Dr. Carta built such a caring practice and well always miss her. Dr. Pitera seems to be following in her footsteps by showing lots of kindness and patience toward the kids. I wouldnt even consider bringing my children anywhere else.

My daughter Olivia was scared to go to the dentist ( we had a bad experience at our previous Dentist). That has all changed now. We had a wonderful experience at sweet tooth Dentist, my daughter said it was a fun time when we got in the car to leave and she is excited for her next cleaning! Although she will be missed dearly, her staff work diligently and positively to ensure every client receives an exceptional experience. They really DO care. Today was my 3 year olds second dental experience and his first time visiting Sweet Tooth and the appointment was nothing short of amazing. Everyone we met was so patient and nice and the atmosphere in the office is so positive, my son is asking when he can go back! My daughter was afraid of the dentist for years after a bad experience. She left Dr. Erica and Amie today smiling and NOT afraid of the dentist, and also full of new knowledge about how to improve her dental hygiene. We drive from 35 minutes away to come here and it is SO worth it! I cant reccomend Sweet Tooth highly enough! So happy I found you!
