I brought both of my girls (1.5 years and 4 years) with me to see Dr. Barnes for dental care. She had activities for the girls and treated the girls with respect and explained things to them at their level. They enjoy the dentist chair experience because of Dr. Barnes ability to connect with them. I also had an appointment and had a full mouth x-ray done by Dr. Barnes. One of the plates that is placed in the mouth was very uncomfortable and she quickly got a different plate and manipulated it so the the edges were soft and not cutting into my mouth. That attention to detail for my comfort is what really made Dr. Barnes shine for me. Excellent service from front desk working with me to schedule my appointment to the individual care from Dr. Barnes keeps me coming back to her as my dentist. Highly recommended!

Dr. Barnes and her staff at Treasure Pearls Dentistry is simply the best! I found Dr. Barnes through a referral in the spring of 2015 and couldnt be more pleased, and quite honestly, I was impressed from day 1. Dr. Barnes is the most caring dentist that Ive had in my entire life (and were talking a long time here...). She actually called me on her day off to check on a tooth the was giving be trouble and she was genuinely concerned about it. Her professionalism, mannerism, and patience are to be commended. Her staff rocks too, everyone of them!! The office manager, Kathy, always takes time to answer my questions and does so in a very patient way. I highly recommend Treasure Pearls Dentistry!

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Kari Barnes for a severely broken tooth ( on taffy). She is so calm and gentle ( I am a bit afraid if the dentist ) and made sure to place a very solid white filling to repair the tooth. Her office has soothing music and the office staff , including her front desk Kathy and assistant were terrific! They all made me feel at calm and at ease... I left the office quickly and happily with a brand new, strong, and beautiful filling. No more taffy for me...even though I would like to visit Dr. Barnes again!

I recommend patients of Dr. Barnes be v-e-r-y careful before having any work done. My own experience is having work done without being informed of the price in advance, even after asking in advance, a practice I find somewhat misleading at best, perhaps what some might even term duplicitous. It would appear that Dr. Barnes practice is geared for those who can afford Cadillac prices with no questions asked.

I love Dr. Barnes! Ive been seeing her since she arrived in DC. She is professional, gentle, and personable. Her staff is friendly and I can always get an appointment with ease. She helped me tremendously with a defective implant. Id recommend her to anyone seeking excellent care and attention to detail. Her office is also Metro accessible, which is a big plus as well.

To say my experience at treasured pearls was a pleasant one is an understatment. Dr. Barnes and the entire staff are extremely friendly and make sure you are comfortable. I had some cavities filled and Dr. Barnes was quick and painless, I didnt feel a thing the entire time. It was the best experience Ive had going to the dentist.
