Dr. Belof and his amazing staff are literally giving me my life back one tooth at a time. When I walked into Dr. Belof’s office, I had very low self-esteem, absolutely no confidence in my oral health, and was too embarrassed to smile and show my teeth, let alone talk to anyone for fear of the smell of my breath. After many dental opinions, Dr. Belof was the only one who made me feel and treated me like a human being. He completely understood, acknowledged, and was willing to listen as to why I put my oral health as a last priority for many years while becoming a mother of three children and trying to get through nursing school, but was very determined to help me regain optimal oral health. As of today, after many years, my teeth are stable again and I am excited to begin the cosmetic phase of my dental work. His staff was able to take before pictures and I am looking forward to the day we can take after pictures and compare the detailed, exceptional dental work that Dr. Belof and his staff has and currently provides me. A few other comments: -Dr. Belof has exceptional chairside manner -Dr. Belof’s staff Amber, Anita, Beth, and Charlene provide exceptional, individualized care, attentive customer service, education with knowledge of evidence-based practice, and always display a positive & caring attitude -Dr. Belof has the cleanest and most beautifully decorated dental office I have ever visited Thank you Dr. Belof and staff for everything that you have done and continue to do for me, I will be forever grateful!

My husband was having problems with a tooth and needed to be seen. We are relatively new to the area and hadnt established with a dentist, yet. We tried to establish with a dentist several months ago, but, due to an insurance mix-up, the dentist told the assistant to "get him out of the chair". We left and never returned. I called another office to try to get him in and the earliest they could see him for an emergency was a week later. I called South Bay Dentistry, spoke with Charlene and was able to get my husband in that very afternoon. Dr. Belof told him he needs a root canal on a tooth that has a crown. Dr. Belof said he could do it, but, by referring him out it would save having to replace the existing crown. My husband, was pleased with the staff and Dr. Belof. We were both pleased with how quickly they were able to get him in and the integrity of Dr. Belof saying he could do the work, but, that if he did it, then the crown would need to be replaced. We will be establishing as regular patients after we get this problem fixed. I ran an errand while my husband was being seen and was asked which dentist we were using and would let them know what we thought. I will be referring at least two families to this practice!!

We all HAVE to go to the Dentist, so make it as enjoyable, relaxed, comfortable, friendly and professional as possible. The staff treats you like good friends, always up beat, informative, conversation is easy like they are old friends. I promise you, you will not find a better, friendlier, more professional Dentist office anywhere. Dr. Belof is great. He is personable, professional, caring. He honestly seems to care more about the person in the chair than the $$$ being generated. Great chair-side manner and at 55, I can say that is rare. I had a crown put on, and it fit like a glove on the 1st try. Thanks to the entire staff. All the staff members would explain everything they were doing, and Beth took extra time (as it had been a while) to not only clean my teeth, but also explain better ways for me to keep them clean and healthier, besides just saying "you need to floss more". The décor is not typical cold, sterile, medical décor but warm and relaxing. I was new to the area and am so glad I chose Dr. Belof and South Bay and you will be too. I promise you, you will not find a better, friendlier, more professional Dentist office anywhere.

This is the first review I have ever given. This place will be nice up front, but after awhile they will expect you to pay for expensive dental work that wasnt necessary, if not they will unexpectedly drop you without any notice. Well, I guess time will always tell...I started going to this dentist when they first opened...I have been understanding with their computer problems, been accommodating when they have called to reschedule, worked through over charging and not receiving the $50 credit for new patient referrals. Ok, so I draw the line when Im told due to missing appointments, I have to find another dentist (when Im due for my scheduled cleaning)...in other words, because I wouldnt/couldnt pay $1000 out of pocket for a cap that I dont need, (got a second opinion) you create a lie...or wait, perhaps they are having more computer problems. (sarcasm) Good thing I still have every receipt and appointment card...I have never missed an appointment!!!

From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and friendly. I drove from about 45 minutes away to see Dr. Belof and I was more than pleased with with my experience. Check-in was quick and I was seated promptly. The exam was thorough and Dr. Belof took time to explain his findings. He was conservative in his treatment planning and I felt as though he was always looking out for what was in my best interest. The hygienist was gentle and thorough as well during my cleaning. From my experience, this office has an all-star team that puts the patients needs first and is dedicated to a high-level of customer service. Truly an all-around A+ job. Thank you all for everything and see you in 6 months!

For me to rate a dental visit a 5 star experience says it all. I have a debilitating fear of dentists but Dr. Belof and his wonderful staff treated me with such kindness, compassion and respect. I will never fear going to the dentist again, as long as I go to Dr. Belof. My hygienist, Beth is amazing, as well. The facility is A+, from the decor to the heated massage chairs and TVs installed on the ceiling to help you relax. Not to mention the dental work itself. Outstanding. Pain FREE! Dr. Belof takes his time and really talks to you and explains everything. He also listens well. To the whole staff, my sincerest thanks. I cant say enough positive things about you.

I had been going to another local Dental Office in Apollo Beach for my dental care, but with the large amount of turnover with their staff and hygienists, I decided to check other options. I had Dr. Belof take care of a filling I needed, and I was nothing short of impressed with the overall experience. The appointment setting process was a breeze, and the actual process of getting the filling was painless and very educational throughout. The filling itself has been perfect, and I am very thankful to Dr. Belof for providing a great service to this community. Id highly recommend South Bay Dentistry to anyone in the South Shore area!

Dr. Belof and his staff are very accommodating and they consistently go the extra mile to ensure that I fully understand everything that needs to be done. At South Bay Dentistry I never have to worry about someone trying to sell me procedures that I do not need. Dr. Belof is straight to the point and really seems to enjoy his occupation. The office is clean, comfortable and they even have TV’s on the ceiling (above your seat). Oh and did I mention that their examination seats are heated and have built in massagers.... yeah... I will be back
