Well, this review is about LabCorp in Bonita Springs. We had to go check the jaundice on our 4 day old newborn. They gave to choose betwen 3 locations in doctors office. We picked the closest one in Bonita. When we got there we found out they moved to different location and obviously they didnt sent out the memo! Ok, no big deal. There new office was just block away. At least they could post a memo on the door of there old office with a new address so you dont have to go to neighbors asking where they moved. When we got there before 10 am, there were about 8 people ahead of us. Told me to sign and sit down. After about an hour we got to do the paper work which took a while but finally they took us in. Well, bed news. They didnt have right needle for a baby!!!! But theyll try to take the blood from an arm. Baby being there for so long got hungry a needing to be fed cause shes been crying. They ask as if we wouldnt mind to feed and wait in their brake room while feeding cause they need that room. After baby being fed, we had to wait some more, because for some reason they let everybody go ahead of us. So after two our of waiting the lab worker came and was ready to take the blood. Do you know the look "how the hell am I going to this???" that was her look a made us pretty nervous. luckily another, more experienced lab nurse came in and two people holding babys arm she was able to take the blood. FINALLY. It was about quarter after twelve when we left. There was nobody in the waiting room anymore. By far the worst experience in health care department. Will NEVER EVER go there again. And if you have a newborn, please do your self a favor a go somewhere else.

Even after reading all the negative reviews on this place, I tried to go in with a big smile and open mind. I cant believe how rude the lady at the front desk was. The office was completely empty and she couldnt even look up from the game she was playing on her personal cell phone to help me. Once I finally got back to get my testing done she yelled at me because I signed the wrong place on the paperwork she gave me. I still tried to be nice and even apologized for my mistake but it was such a BIG hassle for her to re-print the paperwork (which took a total a 10 seconds to do) I apologized 3 different times and she still continued to scold me like I was a preschooler. She acted like I was a complete moron. I felt so disrespected. I could almost understand if the office was busy, someone might get a little frustrated, but since there wasnt a single patient in the office when I arrived, there is no excuse for such behavior. When I was leaving a nice gentleman came in and was trying to figure out if he had made it to the correct office, she wouldnt even listen to him, she cut him off completely and would even hear him out. Im appalled that she thinks its okay to talk to people with such disrespect and If I were the manager of this office I would seriously consider trying to find some new help.

If you have to go to the LabCorp on Del Prado (Cape Coral) for anything, BRING A KINDLE or a book, because you are going to wait for at LEAST 45 mins to an hour, probably longer. There is no indication of wait times when you go in there. If they are short staffed or busy then thats fine I guess, just say "yeah its gonna be at least (XX) minutes" instead of having a patient sign in then wait with no clue on how long its going to be. And just for further preparation for anyone going in there, there is a main waiting room that is way too small for the number of patients that go in there, and ANOTHER waiting room in the back. So when they call you back expect to be there at least another 15-30 minutes for waiting room #2. Like I said, I regret not bringing a Kindle or book with me, because your only other options are staring at the weather channel on their TV, your phone, or the wall. The techs were actually not mean or anything. Maybe they are just badly run. LabCorp has an entire website full of complaints (labcorpsucks dot com) so that should tell you something.

1) rarely does one view having their blood (or other fluids) drawn as an exciting way to spend their time & this can make them grouchy; 2) many grown-ups are scared of needles but instead of crying, they talk tough, crack jokes, pass out, or get grouchy; 3) doctors can be impatient- when they want something, they want it NOW-& get very grouchy when it doesnt happen due to the other 16 MDs who wanted it NOW first (who are all also grouchy); 4) the employees at Lab Corp choose to face these kinds of attitudes day after day after day yet still manage to maintain some semblance of sanity. Youd be surprised what a kind word & smile (not to mention "please & thank you") will get you. Just because they may seem short with you or may not smile ALL the time-its nothing personal. Dont add to their pile of grouch- instead, give them a little reason to smile, laugh, or at the very least, not frown about. These guys work hard and deserve a bit (a lot more than a bit, actually) of gratitude!!!

The worst office location to go into. The entire staff was completely rude, front desk was unattended for 20 minutes when I arrived. Staff was pushy and treated everyone (even the extremely elderly) poorly, making them wait longer than needed to and having them stand! The tone they delivered all had indicated that they obviously hadnt received their "chicken sandwich meal" yet. (Only thing they were concerned about) The complete experience was uncalled for, hire adequate staff to communicate clearly and effectently to guests because the fact that they had constantly yelled at multiple people for not properly telling them rules before they broke them... Ridiculous for a place to treat people almost like drug addicts in a sense since this is a testing center.. Even the elderly. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION, and I make it evident to many to not share this awful expierence I had there. I hope the ignorant staff gets fired soon.

The lady who took my blood; worst ever (heavy set colored lady). I now have a pain in the arm where she took the blood (maybe it was the first time she ever did something like this). I have a huge vein where everyone takes my blood (you can not miss the darn thing) and she went on the side of that vien (not even close) ?????? SHe told me to keep my fist tight even while taking the blood (no blood was hardly coming out). I thought you were to make a fist with the band fitted firmly around your arm (well she tied it tighter than normal) and release the fist before taking the blood out. SHe finally said dont make a fist anymore (duh, the blood was not coming out) now my arm hurts really bad and there is kind of a knot inside where it hurts. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! WHat the heck is happening to health care
