I used Dr. Mc. Neely since 2012 and until year 2017 I was happy with the service overall. In 2017 they changed front office staff and I am not sure if insurance lady by name Lesa was there before or she was new, but I have never had any contact with her until year 2017 and it was a horrible experience, she was very rude and nasty to me since the beginning of 2017. Every time i had an appointment I wanted to bring it up to Dr. Mc Neely but then just decided to let it go and do not stress myself until it got to the point where I had to defend myself and stop Lesas nasty attitude towards me. She would tell you she is doing her job but in reality she is not, she is not willing to go an extra step nor she has customer service skills or maybe it was just with me because to me Lesa in a racist, so if you are from a different country and have an accent and want to bring your children to this office and if Lesa is still there, think twice. I even made a recording and a video of how she talked to me so i can have a proof. when the insurance plan changed for my new born daughter and my daughter had a new insurance and id number was provided to Lesa , for some reason she couldnt pull it up in her system. She kept calling me at home twice per day stating my new born doesnt have insurance. Every time she called I called my provider and they would confirm that everything ok and my new born has insurance coverage . I would call Lesa back providing ID# stating that i spoke with provided and my daughter is covered but she kept telling me is not in the system, while still being so nasty and rude to me. When i came in to the office for my older daughter appointment at 10:30 , i had a next appointment scheduled with new born at 12:30 the same day, and as soon as i stepped in into the office Lesa said your new born doesnt have a coverage, in response i told her i am here for my older daughter appointment when i am done, i will call my provider again and will let you speak with them because as far as i am concerned my daughter has coverage. Lesa just gave me a dirty look and instead of making an extra step and call provider to verify instead of calling me 5 times in 24 hrs, she just didnt care and kept telling me she is doing her job. Also two weeks prior this appointments, i asked her if it was possible to schedule both appointments for my older daughter and a new born at the same time so i dont have to wait 2 hrs between appointments with new born, she replied to me "NOPE" in a very rude tone, never even said let me check or something like that. I asked her to check different dates and she replied several times NOPE NOPE with very nasty attitude, later i saw her interacting with other american patients and she was very sweet. My conclusion ,front office staff at Dr. MC Neely and Lesa are racist and if you are foreigner this will not be a good office for you unless Lesa will be removed from her position one day. i have a new born and two other children and really do not have much time right now, but i do have very tangible evidence that front office and Lesa mistreated me many times at that office and I am contemplating to address everything with an attorney.

Dr McNeely was the 3rd pediatrician I used after having my baby. The first 2 I didnt care for so when my baby was 9 months old I scheduled an appointment with Dr McNeely. What a difference. Such a nice office, such nice helpful staff and Dr Mcneely herself was awesome. She spent a good 30 minutes with me answering all my questions and concerns. She gave my baby an excellent check-up and was very knowledgeable. She really put me at ease unlike the previous 2 doctors I had taken my son to. I would throughly recommend Dr McNeely and Pinellas Pediatrics. I wont be going anywhere else in future.

I absolutely LOVE this office !!!! I was unfortunate to have lost this doctor due to insurance reasons, but once it was fixed i came "running" back . I wouldnt want any other doctor for my daughter! She takes the time to listen to any questions you may have (unlike other doctors that kind of just shove you out the door). If you want a good doctor , Dr. Mc Neely is the way to go :)

Short wait time, nurse and receptionist were very sweet. Doctor was very nice and encouraging. So much better than our previous doctor whose wait time was 2 hours and was not very nice to our daughter. Well continue to see Dr. Mcneely!
