I’ve been using Country Inn for a few years now for boarding my dog with no issues. During September 2015, I needed to go out of town on two separate occasions for a week. During the 1st week, they called to inform me that my dog picked up a skin infection and wanted to begin treatment. I approved and over the next week or so her bumps receded and appeared she was on her way to a full recovery. During her second stay (2 weeks later), they left me two separate voicemails indicating they wanted to once again begin antibiotics (double the strength) as they didn’t think the skin infection had cleared and that my dog was urinating a lot. No approval was given this time for them to treat my dog. Upon picking up my dog at the end of the week, they inform me my dog now has a urinary infection, that they performed various tests, and the day before even gave her some drugs. They wanted me to continue giving the drugs and purchase 4 weeks worth that would cost several hundred dollars. I declined payment for the drugs as I was in disbelief that they performed tests and gave my dog drugs without my authorization, and that for the second straight visit they indicate my dog had some infection. I find this behavior to be highly unethical as nobody should be treating/administering drugs to a pet unless authorized by an owner. They removed the charges for the 4 weeks worth of drugs that I had declined but still charged me for the various unauthorized tests they performed on my dog and two pills they gave her the day before without my consent. Immediately after rescuing my dog from the Inn, I scheduled an appointment with our regular vet. The vet examined my dog and ran tests (after I provided my authorization) and the following day called to tell me there was nothing wrong and my pet was healthy. Nothing based on my dog’s behavior would have lead me to another conclusion so I concurred with the regular vet that all is well. I find there to be an inherent risk associated with the Country Inn as a result of their boarding facility being directly affiliated with an on-site for profit hospital. Adding revenue to the hospital side of business by taking their boarded pets and administering tests and unnecessary drugs is no way to run a business. My dog MJ will never again be setting paw on Country Inn grounds. Which is somewhat of a shame as a few of the girls at the front desk to accept the boarding guests were always very kind and you could tell love animals. But I can no longer recommend the overall operation of the Country Inn as a result of the unauthorized procedures performed on my dog by their hospital. If you leave your pet there for a week or so, there’s a good chance you’ll retrieve your pet in one piece; however, there’s also the chance they performed unauthorized tests, drugged your pet and put your pet’s health in significant jeopardy if the hospital staff got their hands on your beloved pet. The health of my dog is not something I will risk so we’ll be finding another boarding option for MJ.

I find it very sad and disheartening that a person would write such a negative review on such a wonderful resort. This person has clearly never been to Country Inn Pet Resort if they are making accusations about dogs being left outside for hours at a time. I have 3 dogs that are clients of the resort and also the hospital since 2009. The resort has a viewing area where clients can watch their dogs play in the pool and run in the field. I have, personally, watched my Catahoula playing in the pool and they are always supervised and were out for no more than 30 minutes. She has been doing daycare for almost 5 years and she always has a happy tail and kisses for all the staff members. She practically jumps out of the window to get into daycare in the mornings. The reception at the animal hospital also runs a dog rescue on her personal time and I have adopted two dogs from her. My roommate’s two dogs also came from her rescue, 1 Lucky Dog Rescue, Inc. The staff at the hospital and the resort have amazing bed side manner. Dr. Kuchar removed a very large growth from my Boston’s ear and also helped my Catahoula recover from a broken pelvis (she was hit by a car) when I rescued her. Country Inn Pet Resort has helped me provided the best possible care for my 4 legged children.

Have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy. We had been several other places before deciding on Country Inn Pet Resort but were never happy with any of them. First impression walking into Country Inn, besides its large size, is how clean it smells. It does not smell like dog! Its very clean inside outside and the staff are amazing. We use both the boarding side as well as the Vet side. Love the ability to drop our dog off in the morning, she plays and has fun in daycare and then when its time the staff bring her to the vet side, and then back to play time. They truly care about animals and it shows. They are always trying to do whatever possible to make your dogs experience as good as possible as well as keeping you the owner happy and satisfied. Having Country Inn available to take our dog to daycare during the day is such a relief. It gives her the chance to have a place to burn her energy while being around caring loving people. I think our dog thinks this place is her second home, she loves it and so do we. We have sent several people here and they have all loved it. Highly recommended!

We have been taking our Lab "Moka" to Country Inn pet Resort for the last 8 years. Unfortunately we could not keep her anymore and she had a serious problem with her knee. We were going put her down. We took her to the C. Inn Animal Clinic to have the procedure done. It was one of the hardest things we ever had to do. What you are about to read is the stuff that makes you realize what real good hearted people are made of. That same say, we received a call form the C. Inn staff asking us to transfer ownership of Moka to the resort. They could not bring themselves to put down a dog that they have been taking care of and everyone knew for so long....They decided to keep her for as long as they have to, or until they find a home for her. Even considering paying for her surgery to get her healthy again. To Monica and her staff, we thank you for being so amazing. This selfless act is what evolutionary spirits are made of. Our gratitude is beyond words. You have always been an incredible pet resort and acts like these simply puts you guys on top !!!

A state of the art facility all under one roof! The staff is always friendly. The kennels are always clean and the dogs are always under supervision. The resort has daycare where the dogs go out several times a day but not during the hot hours. I drive from Boca Raton because it is "The Best Place" in South Florida for boarding, daycare, grooming and veterinary. My dogs are always happy to go there and happy when I pick them up. The staff is very supportive and always with a smile. I highly recommend everyone to come and visit/try the Country Inn Pet Resort and I assure you that you and your dog will be happy. The Training Cesars Way clinics are also a great way to help the owners and dogs in socialization, walking, swimming. The owners are willing to receive help from the trainer Rick Denning as well as his assistants is a positive manner. Its amazing how the owners do their "homework" during the week ans they come on saturday for the clinics and the change for the better on the dog as well as the owner are quite amazing.
