Everyone in the office is very nice and professional. I didnt feel like a number like I did at The LASIK Vision Institute. Nothing was rushed and they took their time before the procedure. The only thing that bothered be was that after I shoveled out $3900 for the surgery right before the procedure they suggest you buy some sort of plugs to put in your tear ducts so that your eyes arent dry and that the doctor will perform this procedure for free....but the actual product costs $250 EACH! I felt like I had no choice it was like a then and there decision I didnt have any time to think about it. They said my eyes were very dry and if I dont buy this my eyes will always be dry and that Ill be uncomfortable if I dont purchase this...ok so why isnt that included in the several thousands that Ive already given you? A week later and my eyes are still very dry and Im not sure they even put this small little device in my eyes. Very skeptical. It sucked I had to give them another $500. I also felt like the surgery was very rushed too. Everything happened so fast and they were a little forceful during the procedure, but I guess thats how its supposed to be. I really dont know because I have nothing to compare it to. One thing I really appreciated is that the doctor talked to me the entire procedure and told me what he was doing, what was going on, what I should do and that put me at ease. Overall. It was a good experience. I was practically blind before and now I can see almost perfect, one eye is still a little blurry, but they said it gets better everyday. The doctors and nurses were all very nice. Im just disappointed they got more money out of me than I already agreed to in the first place. Made me feel scammed.

Quality customer service and professionalism is lacking in this office. Receptionist made me feel comfortable but experience was negative with rest of staff. Quality places have better bedside manner. I have had three consults this week. This was the only office I went to, that rushed the entire process (1 basic eye test, thats all). They mentioned special of $500 off per eye, which makes sense because business is bad so a promotion would be necessary to get individuals to come in to this office. I was given drops in my eye which were painful, while I was adjusting and vocalizing the pain, I was told by the doctor (who never introduces himself as that to me) that "it shouldnt be" thus invalidating what I said. Not even fifteen seconds after I expressed myself, he was lecturing me to be still open eye and forcing instrument into my eye to take measurements of my cornea. Quality doctors listen to their patients. Also they advertise strongly about Surgeon who worked at Mayo clinic, I was expecting to meet him and never did while in office. Office assistant pronounced my name incorrectly when first calling me and when I corrected her she told me well its spelled like how she said it. Then she proceeded to carry on a conversation with the Doctor right in front of me about name spelling. Being rude and unprofessional with patients isnt the way to drum up business. If you want a quality doctor, dont go here. I would suggest you go to Premium Eye Center in Pembroke Pines FL as they go above and beyond. -Alicia, M.S. Clinical Psychology (Doctorate in progress)

I arrived to a waiting room full of people and put my name on the list. I asked how long the wait would be and was told about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I then waited for an hour and watched them call a man back to be seen who showed up 25 minutes after me and his appointment time was 15 minutes after mine. Very poor scheduling and unfair treatment are not a good first impression. 5 minutes later I was brought back by a tech to check my eyes. He was very friendly and thorough. I then waited for the Dr while my eyes were dilating and after checking my eyes he referred me to another Dr at the practice who was more knowledgeable on my condition. That Dr was much friendlier and did a third small exam and said that while they do treat my genetic condition he would prefer to recommend me to a specialist who has far more experience with treatment. It was humbling to see a Dr who cares enough about their patients (rather than a paycheck) who says "someone else can probably do this better than me". I applaud him for it and sincerely appreciate the referrals. If the scheduling was on time and they did people in order of their appointments Id give them 5 stars. I just hate offices who over schedule or have poor time management and seem to think wasting their clients time is OK.

So far So good. I had the "free" consultation today and the nurse was very informative and straight forward. It is a free consult but they will try and do a $200 preliminary exam at the consultation which they "say" (I plan to get that in writing) they will deduct from the total amt due on day of surgery. I realize this is still considered an optional cosmetic surgery and the doctors have to make their money, totally understand, but that is something that should be communicated upfront! It can come off as "scammish" to some if they get hit with it mid consult. Dont put people on the spot like that its a tad unprofessional. I declined the preliminary exam as I already know I am a candidate and am aware of the ins and outs so I was just price shopping. The price is fair and I made sure price given will be what Im bringing day of surgery and not a penny more! I will cancel the surgery and walk out of building if they try and upsell day of surgery. Im about 99% sure I am going with Pannu as I really like the fact that this is all they do at this location. If/When I pull the trigger on the surgery I will write a follow up review.

I read some great reviews about this place. So based on reviews and recommendation, I decided to call them to find out how much it would cost me to do LASIK. I spoke a lady who advised me to make an appointment and said they will do a detailed assessment to see if I am a good candidate for this. Upon arrival I was asked to fill out a paper with all details incl my SSN & Driver Lic#. After about 10 minutes, I was taken to a room. The person checked my eyes with a machine ( took about 1-2 min). She then told me I can do it and proceed by paying $200 deposit and the cost would be $3900. I was out of that place in less than 10 minutes. Nowhere close to what they told me over the phone about detailed assessment. The doctor who looked at my eyes suggested I do one eye. Paying $3900 for one eye I think is pretty steep. BTW this included a $500 discount that they are advertising around.

Went to Pannu last year for corrective surgery. I had been putting it off for years, and finally got the courage to go for it. Let me tell you, this place is the premier office to get lasik done. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Every single staff member is very friendly and takes their time with you. The surgeon spent time reviewing the surgery with me, explaining options, and encouraged me to take my time deciding. After going to 2 other places in Weston and Boca, it was easy to decide on Pannu. Not only was their price the lowest, but they treated me superbly. I have to say it was a great experience, should have done it years ago if Id have known how simple and pain-free the procedure would be.
