If you are in the Miami-Dade County area and you are looking for VERY bad medical care, and wish to elevate your blood pressure, and could care less for your own health and well being, then sign up with this poor excuse for a medical clinic. Although my PCP is good the support staff employed by this institution are incompetent, untrained, horrendous, extremely rude, cannot speak english and worst uncaring The worst referral department and most incompetent staff of any medical facility Ive had to deal with. I have been placed on hold by the referral department for over 50 minute because as they can see on their caller I,D., that I am calling about my referrals.....Ive waited since July 7, for a referral for critical medical treatment (allegedly pending the referral, although Humana said they have approved it), four months for physical therapy for my multiple sclerosis which has never been submitted to Humana and Humana will approve it; 8 months for a colonoscopy. 10 weeks for a follow up appointment with a neurosurgeon (because the staff does not speak english, they do not know the difference between a neurologist and a neurosurgeon), Ive spoken to the Referral Department Supervisor on several occasions and NOTHING was resolved and the promise of a return call by the supervisor never happens, or you get hung p upon like it happened to me today Lastly I have attempted to speak to Barbara Ensenat the Administrator of this facility about my issues, every time I called call I was told , "SHE IS IN A MEETING" honestly she is in more meetings than the President of the U.S. Finally after attempting to speak to Ms Ensenat, on more than one occasionI and leaving numerous messages, I was told by the phone operator, that she has been instructed to deal with all patient complaints because Ms Ensenat WILL NOT speak to me or any existing patient. I fully understand waiting to be seen by a doctor is aggravating, but NOTHING compares to poor medical care, Today, I finally had it and called Humana and I am going to a new doctor, any and all regulatory, government or licensing body and tell them about the poor medical treatment Continucare gives their patients. I pray this review helps you decide that Continucare is not right place for you or anyone needing medical care.

dont doit/ just dont for your sakes. i have been in and out of drs offices for years had a stroke and 3 heart operations and aortic valve replaced this place is the worst with dr, marta and dr hurtado they are clowns/they dont know what they are doing i called contenuecare to change drs and thay didnt care even emaild the board and there response was she the best lol
