I feel compelled to say a few words about Dr. Robert Buzzetti. Dr. Buzzetti has been my family’s vet since 1981. Last night after work, he came to my house so that my dog could spend her last moments, and my last moments with her, in the comfort of our own home. She died peacefully in her own bed, on a warm blanket, and resting her head in my lap. She was 18. There is no way for me to sum up 35 years of consistently exceptional veterinary care in this forum. There is no way something as paltry as words could define my gratitude to the universe for putting Dr. Buzzetti on Team Munro. I hope Jupiter knows they just won the cosmic lottery. I am here to tell you that there is no higher level of veterinary care than what you receive from Dr. Robert Buzzetti. He and his staff are the pinnacle. He often takes his patients home with him when they need overnight care. There have been so many nights that I shut my eyes with the comforting thought that my sick or injured animals were safe in the home of the best vet on the planet. He’s driven to my mom’s house in the middle of the night to rush her giant schnauzer to the hospital when she was too big for my mom to carry. He came to my house and sedated my dog when she got her head stuck in the stone balustrade of the balcony. He had to sit there and hold her body up for I don’t know how long while the contractor cut through the stone so we could get her head out. I’m barely even skimming the surface here with these few examples. People often compliment me on the care of my pets. How they live so long or “oh, she’s like a miracle cat!” The truth is that I provide the treats, love, and squeaky toys. Any health or longevity my pets have enjoyed was because of Dr. Buzzetti. He is truly talented. He removed a benign tumor the size of a football from my dog’s spleen. He’s like an artist when it comes to surgeries. He found and removed my pug’s cancer when it was just a tiny mole on the skin of his stomach. Augustus has been cancer free for years now. He researched innovative treatments and used out of the box thinking that gave me 3 more happy years after my cat went into renal failure. Those are just examples from the last 6 years. I have many more stories of battles we have won and some we have lost. If my pets ever need another major surgery, I will drive them to Jupiter. Not because I think they would receive less than first-rate care here in Fort Lauderdale (my babies receive excellent care here at home) but because I know that regardless of the outcome, they would be in the hands of the best. He’s just saved my pet’s lives too many times for there to be any doubts. So many of us have similar stories. His patients and their families have been with him for 10 years or 20 years or even 35 like me. Once you meet a Dr. Buzzetti, you don’t go anywhere else. He might be the most kind and caring person I have ever met. I mean that seriously. I’ve known him a long time and he has a beautiful soul. Some people are just like that, you know? Like bright lights shining in the fabric of your life and sharing their warmth when times get dark and the inevitable tragedies of pet ownership are breaking your heart. You just know that he genuinely cares and that your pet will be treated as if it were his own. I really wanted to say thanks, Dr. B, for every time you’ve gone above and beyond and every extra step you’ve taken, for every late night phone call that woke you out of a sound sleep and every time you were there when all hope was lost. Not just for me, but for all of us who you’ve treated like family. You may have spoiled us for all other vets but it was totally worth it.

The city of Jupiter is lucky and fortunate that Dr. Robert Buzzetti has taken his 30+ years of veterinarian experience to open this 5 star animal hospital. I have been bringing my 3 dogs to Dr. Bob Buzzetti for 12 years because I know they get the best care by a doctor who stays up to date on the latest procedures, uses the best equipment and treats my animals with love and compassion. If you have not been to Animal Medical Center of Jupiter do yourself a favor and stop by and check out this state of the art facility with a veterinarian that I know has kept dogs alive because of his knowledge and care that otherwise may not be with us today.

Dr. Robert Buzzetti is the best Veterinarian our family has ever come across. In the 18 plus years we have rescued animals, Dr. Buzzetti has been there to take care of their needs. He has a state-of-the-art Animal Hospital and is always on the cutting edge of new treatments and cures. He is compassionate and treats our animals as if they were his own. Jupiter is lucky to be getting such an incredible veterinarian. Dr. Buzzetti was only 5 minutes from our home in Ft. Lauderdale but if we have to drive the distance, we will just knowing our animals are in great hands!
