My dog died a few days after taking him here. This place was useless. There were so many things wrong with the staff and the veterinarian of this hospital. I adopted my dog named Tommy about three months before I took him here and one day while at work, I had found out that my dog had been hit by a car. My dog is a poodle/terrier mix and was the joy of my very sick mother. My brother rushed with my dog over to the hospital for them to bandage his leg and hold him there for four days and charge us a massive amount of money for his treatment. The staff of the clinic lacked compassion and caring for my dog. When they reached the conclusion that my dog would not make it, they called us and told us that they had to euthanize my dog. I went to the hospital to get my dog and rather have me see my dog before he was put down, they immediately served me with the paperwork. I was very upset and demanded to see my dog. I could not believe that my dog did not have a chance because they did not give us a valid reason why he could not make it. I then demanded to take my dog to another clinic. They refused to give me my dog even thought they had stated that there was nothing they could do to help my dog. I demanded to speak to the vet who was to busy in a "meeting" to come and address us. He wanted to charge us over 700.00 dollars for treatment that did nothing for my dog, when I had already received the invoice of 400.00 dollars. He refused to surrender my dog and after paying his fee he then called ASPCA and sent them to my home because he claimed that I took my dog away from him while it he was being treated. First off, he stated he could no longer help my dog and argued with us and yelled at my family and I treating us as if we were incompetent. Second, him and his staff lacked the compassion and caring as well as the professionalism to speak to us about the situation properly. They were rude and did not care that my dog was going through pain. All the time, the vet kept demanding that we pay him. I took my dog after that and went over to the animal hospital on Dundee Road where the nurses there showed love towards my dying dog and sat us down and explained to us what was going to happen. I had my dog put down that day and cremated. I lost a member of my family that day. I owe my thanks to the workers of the animal hospital on Dundee Road who took care of my dying dog that day. But for the Animal Hospital in Kissimmee (403 Vine St specifically), I do hope that they get closed down. I do not understand how they could treat an animal and its family like that. Unbelievable. I do hope no one ever takes their dog there for treatment. I know that I will never take another pet there.

WHEN I FIRST ARRIVED IN KISSIMMEE FLORIDA IN 1990 I SEARCHED AND USED VARIOUS VETS FOR MY RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK. AFTER BEING DISSATISFIED WITH SEVERAL VETS I FOUND KISSIMMEE ANIMAL HOSPITAL. THEY TREATED MY BABY AS ONE OF THEIR OWN. LATER I REMARRIED TO A WONDERFUL WOMAN WITH THREE PEKINGESE . NOW WITH THREE FUR BABIES AND A RIDGEBACK. GREAT CARE WAS GIVEN TO OUR BABIES AT ALL VISITS . LATER WITH THE PASSING OF OUR PETS KISSIMMEE ANIMAL HOSPITAL WAS THERE TO COMFORT US ON THOSE OCCASIONS. THEY NOW CARE FOR OUR TWO RIDGEBACKS AND THEY KEEP THEM HEALTHY AND HAPPY. OUR OLDER BABY IS NERVOUS WHEN WE TRAVEL IN THE CAR, THEY ISSUED US A TRAVEL PILL TO CALM HER DURING THE TRIP. SADLY WE ARE MOVING OUT OF STATE AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY WE WILL MISS KISSIMMEE ANIMAL HOSPITAL HOSPITALS WONDERFUL CARING STAFF. THEY EVEN WENT SO FAR AS TO SEARCH THEY WEB AND CHECK THE REVIEWS FOR OUR NEXT ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN OUR NEW HOMETOWN. KISSIMMEE HOSPITAL STAFF LIZZY AND LIA MI CARINA AS WELL AS MYSELF AND LIZ WILL MISS YOU AND THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL CARE AND FRIENDSHIP YOU GAVE TO OUR FAMILY. SINCERLY AL & LIZ CIALELLA AND LIZZY AND LIA MI CARINA.

I have used Kissimmee Animal Hospital for my dogs care for a number of years. I happen to know Dr Borgman through Rotary. Last week, we lost our family dog to an accident very early in the morning. I was lost and didnt know what to do. My daughter and I finally were able to make the decision to take our buddy Benson to the vet to see if they could do something acceptable with his body. I was surprised and pleased with how they handled the whole episode. They were so very emphathic and caring. Further, they handled his creamation with such class. I was overwhelmed when we picked up his ashes to see the wonderful cedar box provided as well as a ceramic casting of his paw. We also later received a very nice card in the mail from the doctor who tended to his body and reviewed the trauma prior to his cremation. What great care in such a very difficult time. Thank you to everyone for helping us gracefully cope with the loss of our little buddy.

My poor puppy died 6 days after I took him there. I took my puppy for his shots and to find out why he was limping, they gave him his shots and some medicine to take, he did not get any better so I took him back in 2 days later, they ran tests and found nothing but gave him antibiotics assuming it was some sort of infection, he still got worse so we called to take him in again Tuesday and they told me there was nothing they could do for him and it would just be a waste of time and money taking him there. So, I made an appt at a different vet for wed morning but sadly he didnt make it through the night. I paid like $800, lost my dog and still have no idea what was wrong with him. I will never take another pet there!

This vet saved my dog! I took my dog there for his routine first routine check up and shots. The office is clean and the doctors and staff are so nice. It is great to have people who care about my dog as much as I do. The vet did a thorough exam and blood work, which revealed that my dogs kidneys dont work well. They did more tests (x-rays and ultrasound) and explained everything to me. I found out what I needed to do to keep him around as long as I can. I was so glad that they did blood work and not just the basic heartworm test because I would have never known until my dog died. Yes, the services arent the cheapest, but I think you get what you pay for. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

We are visiting the area from Canada. With us were our two cats. Five years ago, Sahara was diagnosed with lymphoma. We knew that, when the cancer really got aggressive, it would be quick. Never did we expect it to be in a "strange" place, with no known vet. We were so fortunate to have picked the Kissimmee Animal Hospital and to have been attended to by Dr. Prather. He and his assistant (whose name, Im ashamed, Ive forgotten) were kind, professional, and caring. They helped us say good bye to Sahara and respected and understood our grief. Thank you to everyone at the hospital.
