Today, 5/10, was my first (and last) appointment at PCC in Lake Mary. I recently moved to Florida and decided to establish care at PCC since it is close to my home. I chose Dr Graham-Lapp as my provider. My appointment was at 1:30. I arrived at 1 because I knew there would be plenty of new patient paperwork to fill out. At 1:35, the MA named Matt (he was great) took me back to my room. We then spent about 10 minutes together going over my past medical history and getting my vitals. At 1:45, he told me that the doctor would be in shortly. I waited and waited as time passed. I thought that maybe they were running a bit behind but was unsure seeing as it was my first visit to the office. At 2:30, I was still waiting. Thinking I had been forgotten, I opened the door to the room. A different MA named Cloe came in and said "Im so embarrassed. All of the physicians are in a meeting right now and we dont know how much longer they will be. Weve been texting them asking when they will be done and they havent responded. I dont know when the meeting will be over." I told Cloe that I had to work and couldnt wait around all day. She told me that she can reschedule my appointment for me, until realizing that it was my first ever appointment with the practice. Rather than providing me with the option to reschedule my appointment when they realized she was in a meeting, they made me wait in a room for 45 minutes without even a heads up that she was occupied. Finally, at 2:40, the doctor came in to see me. She never looked at a computer or looked over my past medical history that I had provided to MA Matt over an hour ago. She never even sat down. I brought up my two issues with her, and she made me feel so rushed I couldnt even ask the proper questions. She called me an "easy patient." My whole visit with her lasted no more than four minutes before she left to go see her patients. I left not knowing if I even had a prescription called in for me, and feeling more confused than before my appointment. After waiting over 45 minutes to see the doctor, and being at the practice for nearly two hours total, my visit with her was not worth the time I lost today. I do not recommend going here unless you like having your time wasted.

I absolutely love, LOVE Dr. Gabor. She is the only doctor who has ever taken the time to understand a condition I have been dealing with for years. She is a great listener and communicator and I sincerely appreciate the excellent care she has provided to me over the past year. HOWEVER, the office staff at Primary Care Center at Lake Mary is absolute trash!!! First off, I had an appoint that I was 10 minutes early for. I entered the waiting area to sign in and didnt receive as much as a "hello" for this guy Eric. He was sitting at the desk, typing away and didnt even bother to give me eye contact. I have been a healthcare professional for years and Office Staff communication and promptness is an essential piece to any Clinician Group Consumer Assessment of Hospital Providers and Systems evaluation. Next, after being early to my appointment, I waited 45 minutes after my appointed time to be called back. This is actually the second time this happened. My last appointment, I waited an hour after my appointed time to be called back. The nurse or PA-C that called me back was rude, didnt introduce herself and was extremely rough with the blood pressure cuff and ear thermometer. She was extremely unprofessional, impersonable and really displayed a lack of compassion for patients. This is Dr. Gabors nurse and she is absolutely awful. Again, Love Dr. Gabor but the office staff, wait time and her nurse needs a major face lift. Its a poor representation of who Dr. Gabor is as a professional and a healthcare advocate. I only gave this review 3 stars because of Dr. Gabor

If you remember when your family doctor knew your name and your entire health history, then youll appreciate Dr. Elena Gabor. Add to that her exceptionaly knowledge and keen grasp of a situation --- and then either treating you immediately to resolve the problem or referring you to the areas top specialists. Backed by the most efficient and gracious office staff and medical team and emedicine, Dr. Gabor has enabled me to make dramatic improvements in my ongoing health challenges and conditions. Furthermore, she is an excellent collaborator with my medical specialists, taking the time and effort to ensure I receive the best possible care, The office is run efficiently, so wait times are short. Reminder calls and follow ups by staff help me stay in touch and to remember action items like labwork radiology are extremely helpful as I tend to forget. The new patient portal is going to help me access information and communicate even better goiong forward. Most importantly, the entire staff truly cares about its patients and always makes us feel the TLC, going above and beyond to see us when we need an urgent visit or help us with insurance isssues. Ive recommended Primary Care Center to everyone I know.

My experience was extremely pleasant, New to the area i was hopelessly lost and had to call in to the office for directions; the office manager Eric talked me in and was very kind and patient, believe me i was lost! When i arrived safely i was greeted and given help to get signed in. I did not have a long wait they were calling me back before i had even finished my new patient information papers. Another very professional young woman very thoroughly questioned me regarding my health history and recent troubles and I was feeling reassured that i had picked a great new office to move to. When my caregiver Ms. Cooley arrived to exam me and provide medical care I was very impressed with her thoughtfulness and caring attitude again i felt cared for and reassured that i would receive excellent medical care at this new facility. I was then given referrals for all of my particular needs and also Ms. Cooley personally set my app in my phone to get me home without any more worries and I did get home much LESS stressfully than my ride to the office!!! 5 stars from me for a great experience.

You can be sure that I will not be returning to this office! I went for a womens wellness exam, was told I had to have a physical first, both were to be NO CHARGE. I ended up with charges that I foolishly paid and immediately disputed. I had to get the insurance company involved because the people in the billing department of the drs. office would either ignore my calls, messages and emails, or say very nicely and convincingly what they were going to do to help me and never do it. They absolutely REFUSED to let me speak with Dr. Gabor. Initially they made every excuse for why the charges were accurate. This drs. office was a nightmare to deal with for myself and the insurance company. It took ONE YEAR (and more telephone calls than can be counted) to get refunded: 6 months to convince them they owed me the money, and another 6 months to finally receive MY money that sat in "credit" under my name. Had I and especially the insurance company not been persistent, they would still have my money.
