I was seen by a vet named Ron I do not remember his last name .I got a kitten from the spca recently he was very sick .Coughing, weezing ,fever not eaiting I took him in and he tells me he needs vitamins and his immune system will fight it of.This kitten was very ill. Paged $55 for them to give me vitamins .By the time I got him home he was open mouth breathing gasping for air.I called back the vet tech on the phone told me to come back in to see what else they could do for me.The vet tech was very polite I was not prepared for the attitude I got when the vet walked in shaking his head and with a rude tone said "I dont ont no what you want me to do when you get sick you dont just get over it i dont have a magic wand to wave and make your pet better" I was very offended that me being conserned for my pet would give him the audacity to speak to me in such a manor I was ready to give him a piece of my mind when my kitten started weezing he listened to his chest a second time and said "we need to put him on a nebulizer and put him on antibiotics hes at risk for pneumonia". It doesnt take a rocket scientist to no when a cat is sick Hence why I brought him back .He put him on clavomox U sense then saw 3 other veterinarians within 3 days my cat got progressively worse and I didnt want to bring him back and be talked to like in an ignorant child. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and his meds switched to doxicyclin by A DIFFERENT VET AT A DIFFERENT CLINIC.Had I taken this vets advice on giving home vitamins and letting his immune system fight it off he would have died. Ive sense then seen the other vet at this clinic named Scott ,again I dont remember his last name He was much nicer and was capable of explaining things without speaking down to me or being rude which is appreciated.

I have come to this office for years. Yesterday was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I had to make the decision to put my dog Samson of 9.5 years to sleep. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous as they were in this situation which I have always appreciated. However in this instance I was not very pleased with one veteranian yesterday. Dr. Judy who I saw initially had a very hard time showing compassion with what I was going through. She seemed rude and short tempered with her staff who were all very sympathetic and sweet to me. I made the decision to have my dog put to sleep and she tried numerous times to administer the solution and could not do it. After trying in every leg and me just watching all of this go on she firmly asked me to "step outside now" apparently so she could jam the solution into my dogs abdomen. So I stepped out and apparently she did just that. Well that didnt work and my dog continued to suffer for another 15 minutes as I watched. At that point a man who is a vet there came in and administered the solution through a vein the very first time. He was very sympathetic with me and showed sincere concern as well as the staff. Dr. Judy never apologized nor did I see her again. Watching my dog suffer to breathe after she jammed the solution in his stomach was one of the most horrible things I have ever seen. I did not want to watch this but I did not want to leave my dog alone with this woman whom doesnt seem like she has any empathy for animals, and it seems like my feeling on her was correct after what I experienced yesterday. I cant stress enough how great the staff was throughout this situation but I am very disturbed as to why all of this happened the way it did and why that lady is dealing with these situations.

I went to a local vet around the corner from my house and I wasnt impressed with the prices or the quality of care. When my cat died of cancer that the clinic wouldnt diagnose unless I paid them more money I vowed never to go there again!! Shortly after her death I adopted a dog from the SPCA and originally went to Dr. irelan because he was the cheapest in town. However, once I experienced the quality of care and the compassion these professionals have for my pets I vowed to always go back. This belief was reaffirmed 2 Years ago when my 5 month old puppy was beaten and burned with battery acid in my backyard while I wasnt home. When I found her I had to rush her to the emergency vet across town where she stayed overnight. The emergency vet was unable to tell me anything about what had happened to her, however, they were able to charge me $650 for her overnight stay. The very next morning I took her to Dr. Irelans Office where he was immediately right by her side and was able to discern that Roxie had been beaten. He kept her for a few days because she needed round the clock care and I couldnt miss work. When I finally took her home a week later and she wasnt doing any better I took her back and Dr. Irelan once again performed a de-bridement surgery and that is when he discovered that she had been burned in addition to being beaten. I was ready to give up and put Roxie "down" but he was confident that she had "made it through the worst." For the next 12 months Dr. Irelan and his staff worked with so much compassion and diligence that my Roxie is now 2 1/2 years old and still alive!!! I highly recommend Dr. Irelan and his staff. Dr. Irelan himself will call you himself to inform you of the status of your animal and he truly cares about all the animals he sees!!!

This was the worst veterinarian experience I have ever had!!!! The waiting room was over-crowded, the staff barely acknowledged all of us in the waiting area. I sat on the floor with my dog and still no acknowledgement. One customer sat outside. Finally after 50 minutes of waiting I asked if the vet was running late, was told probably, they had some emergencies come up. I am totally ok with that, just acknowledge the people patiently waiting......maybe ask if they would like to reschedule or at least guess how long until they may be seen. Finally after 1 hour and 55 minutes we are called back, my dog doesnt like the smooth floor so it takes her a second to get her legs steady to walk across. So the staff lady thought she would just grab her by the collar and pull her along.....THATs NOT HAPPENING!! Told her to remove her hand, we had waited almost 2 hours, you can wait 5 minutes for her to come on her own. Same staff lady tried to draw blood, must have poked my dog 3-4 times and I finally told her to stop! She goes to get the vet b/c this is our first time there and I would like to meet Dr Irelan. Well some other guy comes in, doesnt speak to me, I have to ask his name, you can imagine my reaction when he replies Dr Miller....From there it only got worse, I plainly brought with me the letter I received from my prior vet saying what needed to be updated....the reaction of the staff of not knowing why we were there was absurd!!! The office manager tried to save the day but to no avail, you could apologize a million times and I would never consider even driving by that place again! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE!!!!!
