Took my springer spaniel to get neutered today, I bathed and brushed her last night, she was one pretty gal! Dropped her off at the Animal Allies Clinic for the procedure and just picked her up. I was literally shocked! My pup was covered in urine and fecal matter from another dog where they left her in an uncleared cage! They had gotten green tattoo ink all over her white fur, and she was bitten by a tick while there! The way the nurse carried my dog out with one arm as her body dangled after the surgery made me sick! I definitely do NOT recommend this establishment. Id have posted this on their Facebook page but they have it set to not allow comments. So shady!!! Do NOT go here! UPDATE: Ok guys & gals, I was contacted by the manager of Animal Allies and she did some investigating into the situation, she had me bring back Rosie and cleaned her up herself, and gave me a full refund for all the trouble, so glad she made this right and reached out to me, she apologized saying she was sorry that Rosie "slipped through the cracks" on this service.

Terrible customer service. Vets are not available at pickup to answer questions or resolve any issues from surgery. My 16 week old puppy was scheduled for a spay and rabies shot. I specifically waited to make her appointment when she was four months old so she could get the rabies shot at the same time to reduce added stress on her. I went to pick her up and was told that she was too young for the rabies shot based on her teeth. A simple phone call at the time of administering the shot could have cleared all of this up and would have been appreciated - I have paperwork which shows her age. Very disappointed. Also, I decided when I picked her up that I wanted to get the pain medication for her, but was informed that the vet was gone and she couldnt get any. I will not return and would not recommend! Horrible experience!

Animal Allies runs a valued, low cost pet neutering service in Spartanburg, and its efficient as well. Get there and be at the door when they open and youll be in and out in no time. I took my male cat I picked up as a stray there this morning and things went perfect. Sam was a little groggy when he got home, but he shook it off in a few hours (he may have been done later in the day). As for the comment about the male cat with an abdominal incision, its not uncommon for male cats to have a retained" (undescended) testicle, so in order to truly neuter them, they must open them up and fish out the one "that didnt drop". I had that with a cat I owned in upstate NY and there was an up-charge for the additional surgery. Willing to bet that Allies didnt even charge you extra to do a complete neuter.

HORRIBLE EXPIERENCE. I wouldnt recommend to ANYONE. I have a 10 month old male dog I went to get neutered and I walked in to do the paperwork and they rushed me through it. They were insensitive and pushy. I felt like they were just trying to get my money. When I went to pick him up they were dragging him through the doorway. He was petrified. They didnt try to comfort him or anything. I have no complaints with the castration surgery itself, yet. I also paid for a nail trimming and its AWFUL. His nails are uneven and chipped up. Some are cut back way to short, then some are way too long still. Im so unhappy with the whole experience there. I will never take another one of my animals there again. They need to work on their customer service.

Our male cat (6 months) was to be neutered/castrated, but he still has his testicles and therefore, will still spray and have harmone issues. He will continue to have a terrible odor and want to fight. I checked with two vets who always remove the testicles. We were not informed about this type of procedure where only the tube is cut or would have spent the extra money and gone to a vet instead. We are going to still have to do so to stop the spraying! Very unhappy with the lack of information up front!

I had my male kitty fixed yesterday, so far his not had any problems at all. I checked him over when I picked him up and he was fine. His done great today. The man that I guess owns the place, I ran into him Tuesday morning and I asked what time did they open , he said rudely 730 I was told to be there at 700. So we waited from 630 to 730 and I was the third person there, but I had people run in front of me. It was a mess. They need to work on being nicer. But other wise Im happy.

Great. Provides low cost spay and neuter in the upstate. Yes, they tend to rush you, but they do a lot of animals each day. They provide this service for several counties. I have taken several cats that I have fostered to them over the years. Professional service. I have not had one single complication from any of the surgeries. Thank you animal allies.

I took 2 male kittens to get neutered and when I was doing the paperwork she rushed me through the whole thing and was pressuring me to sign. The surgeries went well but they definitely need to work on customer service.
