I really only dealt with the nurse practitioner, who was okay but this is still one of the worst offices/doctors Ive been to. I used to go here regularly for my depo shot(before they shut down the office) and I cant tell you how many times they screwed up my appointments, (scheduling me when they office was closed near the holidays, or appointments to late or too early for my 12 week shots) so I always had to double check myself to make sure I was not receiving my birth control late at the expense of medical professionals not doing their job. When I moved down here from gainesville, I made myself an appointment here and told them I was due for my shot and my pap, they ended up doing my shot that day, and for the next full year I was told "your pap will be next time" until that year was over. Then they started asking me why its been two full years since my last pap, HELLOOOOOOOOOO?! Also, twice they almost lost the shot they requested I hand to them upon signing in. I was almost LIVID when they couldnt find it in about 15 mins when I literally handed it to her shortly before. Thats a $50 shot for myself I pay out of pocket and I obviously only get a certain amount of doses so its not like I could just go pick another one up. Last time I was here, they failed to even tell me when my next window was!(doesnt matter because I always double check their mistake). I always feel like Im the only one in the office without a baby and not pregnant and sadly probably because this doctor screwed up their birth control like they constantly tried to do with mine. Thank god I no longer deal with them or their AWFUL billing department. The last time I was there I also sat in an empty waiting room after signing in, saw nobody at the desk for my first fifteen minutes yet heard them in the back talking. The nurse who eventually called me back proceeded to give me a shot, without washing hands, without gloves, and send me on my way without a bandaid and ended up bleeding through my shirt sleeve! Ive been to many different doctors offices and this has definetly been one of the more interesting ones...

Worst doctor Ive ever had. I was referred to her by my primary physician, at the time this was the only gyno that my health insurance would cover. She preformed my d and c after I suffered a miscarriage. She has horrible bedside manners, in and out of the room as fast as she could be every single time I saw her. When I first met her to talk about the procedure, she handed me a booklet that explained what shed be doing, shes rather give you something than explain it herself...the day came for my procedure, I was super nervous and upset that this was even happening to me but to make matters worse, she was around 30 mins late after Ive already been there for a couple hours getting prepped for surgery. No apology, she just came in, signed a bunch of papers in front of me for surgery and was on her way to get ready. After the procedure I wouldnt stop having horrible pain, like I could barely move without hurting pain. I was in excruciating pain for four days after the surgery and then went to the er after waking up from huge amounts of blood and clots, she didnt do her job and my body had to finish the rest. I saw her a day after my ER visit, she told me that was normal, it was a scab coming off and it will happen again in two weeks..I didnt really believe her and thought that was just her trying to cover her butt which it was because a week later I was back in the ER with an infection. I had to take super strong antibiotics for ten days after that. This whole experience was distressing enough but she made it ten times worse. The only helpful thing she did was prescribe me pain meds, i sure needed them after she was done with me. Also, the staff wouldnt give me my babies ultrasound pictures when I asked for them, they said they didnt have the approval from the doctor but cut one out and threw it at me saying I could keep one. I had to go back up there on a separate occasion and pick them up, and they had cut them all out and stapled them together. Needless to say I have a new doctor.

While the nurse practitioner I saw was very nice & friendly and the appointment went smoothly (overall), I will not be coming back here. I was told that my prescription was being called in while my appointment was going on. I didnt find out until a couple hours later when I went to the pharmacy and it wasnt there and the office had closed already. At noon. On a Friday. Now Im leaving messages and hoping for the best. ALSO - Dr. Thomas herself the week before had seen my (pregnant) sister for a check up for a possible UTI and the fact that shes been throwing up for 3 months straight. She had thrown up over 18 times 48 hours before seeing Dr Thomas. The doctor blew her off like she was making it up and she did not give it any attention at all. Side note: She was in the ER twice in the next 12 hours because of the vomiting. BEFORE she was pregnant, my sister had mentioned several times how Dr Thomas obviously didnt like working with women who werent pregnant because she always felt like she was bothering the doctor with her check ups. When she found out she was expecting her response was, "At least my doctor will care about me now." well. No, that actually hasnt changed too much. She and I are both switching offices, and Im telling everyone I know to avoid going to her if they can.

I would never recommend this "Dr." She did not provide any information of any kind during our appointments. She basically would walk in for 5 mintues or less and we are done after waiting over 30 + minutes. She had my wife do a pap-smear that other doctors told us was completely unnecessary and not needed! We were then told our insurance wouldnt cover an unnecessary pap-smear. After these crappy experiences with her we switched to hibiscus where they are a complete 180 from Christine Thomas. Also, upon switching to hibiscus we had to make 3 separate trips and multiple calls to get my wifes medical records from her as they would not release them! Im active duty and I feel she is an MD who simply has you get unnecessary exams, meds, etc. She feels like an MD who is in it for making money off of people like they are cattle. I absolutely agree with other posts saying how horrible she is and how can she be licensed. Bottom line, if you want to pay for unnecessary things while being seen by a very poor and unacceptable excuse of an MD then this is the right place to go. My wife could have gotten better care from a veterinarian Dr.

She really is a terrible doctor. I moved down to FL and tried to make an appointment with another practice when I was informed that they were part of some alliance network and I needed to call a third party company to "match" me with my gyno (wtf??). So this company matches me with Dr. Thomas (which I never would have called based on the reviews here). I made an appointment to get a prescription renewal and have my IUD removed. She practically laughed at me when I told her I didnt want or need birth control any more and didnt listen to anything I said about how BC pills messed me up and the IUD was incredibly painful. I had to repeat multiple times that I really needed a (unrelated) prescription - I told her exactly how much and what type I was currently taking and she totally messed it up. I had to call the office several times to get the correct prescription dosage in the meantime basically cutting up pills like a drug dealer trying to get by. The only two good things were the staff was very friendly and there was zero wait time (because the office is empty because everyone apparently switches to hibiscus)
