I am an anesthesiologist and I have the pleasure of working with many excellent orthopedic surgeons in our community. When I started having knee pain I chose to go to Dr. Teurlings for my evaluation and treatment. He is the consummate professional, very easy to talk with, attentive, patient and thorough. He discusses in detail his evaluation and treatment options and gives his best recommendations but certainly takes into account what I was most comfortable with. I underwent knee arthroscopy surgery on both knees at different times. I am happy to say I had no pain with surgery, swelling was minimal and now Im back to doing all the activities I always enjoyed and completely pain free. My experience isnt unique because Im a physician, this is how I see he treats all his patients. His office staff is also very helpful and nice with scheduling appointments and reminders. For any other orthopedic issues that might arise in my future Im very thankful to know I can see Dr. Teurlings.

I had chosen Dr. Sedaros due to his partner Dr. Teurlings being so focused on getting through the appt quickly during my first visit, he did not fully listen to me at all. I was given a steroid shot in the knee without requesting same and was not informed of the possibility of the cortisone flare that I encountered. I was hobbled with major discomfort for three days. So of course I wanted nothing to do with Dr. Teurlings after that. Dr. Sedaros was not much better. He was 35 minutes late to my appt and when I pointed that out to him he answered with "Im not a Banker." No apology for being late on top of coming in with the wrong file for me. the doors are never closed during appt w/ patients. I was privy to a ladys partial knee replacement across the hall. Sederos was seeing two to three patients in tandem. Not cool at all. Ill chose a new office now. Yes, 0 stars for this practice!

A friend of mine recommended Dr Teurlings when I needed an Ortho Dr so I called to get an appointment. The staff that answers the phone is EXTREMELY rude. After giving me the run around for 3 days (meanwhile waiting in pain) they finally called back to schedule- by then I found another dr. From the first time I called- the lady automatically asked where I was seen and that she didnt know why that hospital was giving this drs name. What?! I said that they did recommend him but it was also my friend that said I should go to him. She just continued to be Extremely unprofessional.. assuming things and cutting me off so I changed drs. I will NEVER go to see this doctor with such an uncaring and rude receptionist.

Weusthoff ER recommended Tuerlings to me for a break in my ankle -two breaks, actually. Tuerlings spoke a total of 29 words to me, the most erudite of which was "keep doing what you are doing". The only person who cares in that office is the cast-maker, whose name is Charles, I think. He did a good job. The x-ray lady is competent. If you are looking to spend more than two minutes with a doc, dont choose this one. He wants to go immediately to surgery - sure, at $50k, it beats a measly $300 for an office visit, explaining what is going on with your broken bone. I found another doc.

In 2014, Dr. Teurlings reviewed my xray for a tibia fracture, knew just what to do and splinted the lower leg, suggesting crutches. At a follow-on visit, it had healed enough that he switched me to a removable boot, which I wore for a while. The fracture healed perfectly, as he said it would. Everyone at the Orthopedic Center was courteous and helpful, including Dr. Teurlings, who was also thorough and patient. As a result, I recommended my wife to see him for an injury to her hand in early 2017.

Dr. Teurlingss professional etiquette and expert knowledge in his field is unsurpassed. A recent Ankle injury was treated promptly and expertly. His attention to detail in explaining the procedure and the follow up action required, was very helpful for a timely recovery. His pleasant and professional bedside manner is noteworthy. I would Highly recommend him for any orthopedic ailment.

Dr.Teurlings did my daughters ACL surgery and from the first visit through physical therapy everyone was great! Even when we had questions between visits the staff was very helpful. I have recommended them several times to friends and they had good things to say as well. I would definitely go back to Dr. Tuerlings.

Dr. Teurlings and staff were incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. They squeezed me in after hearing of my wrist fracture and gave me helpful information and tools to recover. Would highly recommend.
