Every time I or one of my daughters go to Aspen Dental I have to wait a looonng time before I actually see the dentist. I am so sick of dentist and doctors offices thinking their time is more valuable than mine. It seems they always overbook just in case they have a cancelation, so they are making the maximum amount. I have waited for 70 minutes for my scheduled appointment and the least amount of time I have ever waited is 25 minutes. Yesterday I took my 16 year old daughter in for a consultation on when her wisdom teeth will need to extracted. It was a 10:45 appointment. When I signed her in they had her down as an extraction, not a consultation visit. I made the correction. After waiting for 35 minutes, I went to the front desk and asked if we were going to have our 10:45 appointment any time soon. I was told (again) that they were running behind and it should be soon. At 10:45 in the morning they are already running at least 35 minutes late. Nothing new with them. I told them that mine time was just as valuable as theirs and that I would reschedule my appointment and in the mean time look for a different dental practice that treated me with respect. Of course then they were all the sudden ready to see us. The dentist in charge of the extractions is only there 2 days of the month. Dr. Torres. He was very polite and explained that nothing needed to be done at this time and may not ever need done. Six months ago, at her regular cleaning, we were told by the regular dentist that we would need to come in for a consultation when she turned 16 to schedule the extraction. Her wisdom teeth do not even have roots yet. The top ones are in her sinus right now and she has space between all of her teeth and the mandible is still growing. So she may not have to have it done at all. This consultation that we were told was very important to have done in 6 months cost me $70. !! The consultation was done looking at her xrays that were taken 6 months ago at the cleaning appointment. I feel so ripped off! They dont respect their patients time and they make you think something is critical when in fact it is not. More money, more money, more money is the theme. We will be looking elsewhere for our dental needs.

First off I had teeth pulled and they missed pices of two of them. It was very uncomfortable to have them removed a second time. But the main reason Im writing this is because I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of 800.00 dollars for a temporary partial I was never able to wear due to severe pain every time I put them in. I brought them in on three separate visits to have them realigned. After the last one I put in a request for a refund. I received a call during work but had asked previously to handle it through email. Ive been 20 hrs away from Florida for about 4 months over a family emergency. Not thinking about aspen considering they were told over and over about the dentures and knew there were issues they couldnt seem to fix and I filed there request for refund online. I havent received a call, email or mail since the last conversation after I asked for a refund. I assumed they took care of it. I should have called but really have more important things to do at this time. My wife got the first letter from them in 4 months trying to forcing me to pay for dentures I never did get to use and Threatening my credit if I dont. Ive spent about 5000.00 dollars cash there over the last 8 or 9 months. Ive had a few dealings with them in this short time but this is quite ridiculous.

Overall a satisfying visit EXCEPT.... My husband went for an annual cleaning. However, they didnt do the cleaning as this initial visit was an exam with XRAYs etc. This was advised upon signing in for the visit. The receptionist was pleasant, professional and informative. However, upon exiting she advised my husband that the procedures he needed done were not covered by his insurance (surprise). The cost was a few hundred dollars and so my husband refused to schedule a future appointment advising he wanted to discuss it with me. She said in the meantime, that she can see if he would qualify to make installment payments. He said sure. The informative receptionist failed to mention she was applying on his behalf for credit financing through a third party company. We received a letter in the mail from "Dental First Financing" saying "Congratulations, youre approved!" Had she informed him of what she was actually doing, she would not have received his blessing. Figured Id be able to give current and/or future patients a heads up before agreeing to something that seems harmless. We DO NOT want an inquiry on his credit report nor do we want anymore credit! Thanks a lot Aspen Dental.

No. I will not recommend you to any one. In 2015 a crown was completed and I had to go back to have it re-cemented three or four times. Then a new crown was made. That crown also came off. It was re-cemented (I believe Nov. 2016) and lasted until August 4, 2017. I took the crown in August 14, 2017. I was told a new crown would have to be made and I would have to pay for it. I could not understand why and said so to the office manager. I was told several reasons why, none of which I could agree to. The doctor who examined the xrays was put on the spot by the office manager as to why the crown would not stay on, was it the tooth or the crown. I found that embarrassing. The office manager offered they would glue it back on with no guarantees and the cost would be $122.00 with my insurance covering $87.00. I would pay the rest. I shut up and paid up. Went to the chair for the crown to be glued back on. It was done in silence and when finished, I was not asked how it felt. Was it too high, etc. Nothing. It is a little high but I will never go back to one of their offices.

Long wait, the longest I have ever had. Im a self pay and the health department wasnt this bad. They dont care. Even after going out my way to get my previous X-rays from another dental office and telling them I may be pregnant, they said they needed 2 more X-rays of my back bites. Or I can reschedule, I waited so long already. Agreed to the 2 and they took a full set of X-rays. Just dont care. They kept saying its free, its free. I waited over a month for this first visit. 2 people walked in for uncomfortable dentures and got seen the same time I did. My appointment was 9 am I got called back a little after 12 pm. I left the office about 1 pm. I arrived there at 8:30 they opened the doors a quarter to 9 am. My whole morning wasted. Im not going back. Wouldnt recommend. The staff was friendly, everyone said hello, how are you. Smiles dont help when your freezing cold from the AC and your button is numb.
