This clinic is a clear reminder that the care of veterans is of no real interest. I cannot believe the lack of interest in actual PATIENT CARE by the physicians. every since Dr. Fair left this clinic it has been horrible, (except Dr. Petty). It is truely mind blowing the way my wife is taken care of (or not taken care of). She served for years even in war and is treated as if he health is an aggravation or bother to treat. instead of trying to communicate and be UNDERSTANDING, in order to actually help. Last I read, that is supposed to be the purpose of a physician, to help, to treat, to care. This clinic is the worst ive ever seen. We live in Deltona and I go to the Viera clinic, I refuse to change to this place. The only reason she will not change back to viera is because she has multiple medical issues and has various appointments. No way would I advise someone to go to this place. Getting messages answered is nearly impossible, even the "myhealthyvet" process is ignored. its just totally ridiculous the whole place. Thank God we will soon be able to pull her away from this clinic into private health care. I am sorry for my fellow vets that have to deal with this place with no other options. (which is probally why they treat us the way they do,because we have no where else to go).

With the exception of a new physician who canceled my appointment and ignored my requests to schedule a new one (and who, thankfully, was assigned a desk job due to the many complaints that were lodged), I have received excellent care at this clinic. Dr. Pillappa is responsive and thorough, with a good "bedside" manner. The office staff (especially Al) is fantastic, as are the nurses. For those of you who are angry that phone calls arent answered, you do realize, dont you, that youre supposed to go through Telecare first, because the front desk personnel are incredibly busy serving patients at the clinic. Better yet, use MyHealtheVet. Its an excellent tool for communicating with your medical provider(s).

Just came back from Orange city Vet clinic, and could not have a blood test done. I live in Deltona, and have my Blood test done there, and see my Doctor in Daytona VAClinic next Wed. Daytona did not update my records to have a blood test done!!! So i was not able to have my Blood test done. Why cant the OrangeCityVAClinic call the Daytona Clinic while i am there??? ..and have this done. They said they could not call.. wasted my morning for nothing. Get it together Folks. Crazy!! I called the VA nurse in Orlando. she is helping. Called Daytona, and NO ONE answers in the Blue team.

This really isnt a review, but more of an update. They open at 7:30 am. The reason being if your appt. is for 8 am, you have to see the nurse half hour before your appt. The lab on the other hand does not open until 8 am.

I am on hold right now... first I let it ring for about 25 min.. then they answered and said hold... and now on hold for about 20 minutes... still waiting.... just need to ask beneficiary person a question...

The staff is fantastic. Al is great at the front reception area. Jeanie is an expert taking blood. George, the manager is a superstar. The guy who gives free phones to the vets is off the chain!

Never let people know what they havent been seen get treated harrible. They just dont care what so ever leaving people in the dark. I wish I could give 0 stars for this place

Awesome. Most people are friendly and courteous. The parking available is small and yet, I rarely find no place to park. (I dont like the picture of President Obama. LOL).
