I went in for a first patient apointment, filled out the paperwork and waited to be seen. They asked me to provide my Social Security Number but I told them they needed my husbands since the policy was under his name and employeer. They came back after a few minutes and told me that they confirmed that the insurance required I give it for billing purposes to which I said that I never needed to provide it before. I was then asked to step into the back office for privacy. This office had no walls, so there was no privacy I was just behind the counter. I suggested that they had over 1000 files out for everyone to see and asked if the Social Security Number was stored in those paper files and she said that "yes they were". I asked about security and she said they had a system. I looked at the front doors to look for a key pad or a sticker but saw none. I said that I didnt want to provide it. She then said she was going to cancel my apointment to which I reacted by saying "Can we call the insurance together and comfirm that they need my SS# and I will give it to you if you need it". At this point she started telling me to vacate the premises and I was so shocked I left without any of my paper work. I got half way to my car and turned arround to get my paperwork with my address, brief medical history and other information. I opened the door and stood outside without stepping in the door and said "Maam I need my personal information back". She said she shredded it and at that point I said "how can I believe you?". She picked the phone up and said loudly "can someone please call 911." I closed the door and left. I can understand this behavor when someone is yelling and screaming and threatening people, but I was calm but firm about my personal information and never raised my voice at her or threatened her. These dentists might be good but I have no way of knowing since I was treated so horribly by the office staff. I have to say that my experience was humiliating, and bordered on harassment. I would like to add that when I got home I called my insurance company and they confirmed that all the dentist needed was my husbands social security number. They didnt even have mine in their system. This is the worst place to go if you want to be treated with dignity, and respect. It is the worst place to go if you value your personal information and I will not go back. My husband also canceled his apointment because of their disregard for their own behavior.

My kids ended up here because our insurance changed and our old provider was no longer covered. I made an appointment for a 10 and 12 year old to have basic exams and cleanings done, our appointment was at 1pm, we finally finished and walked out just after 4:30pm. The staff was very nice and friendly but everything took 3 times longer than I have ever seen at any other facility. I have never seen a cleaning take 45 minutes, and x-rays should be almost instant, not 20 minutes for each of them. Once the dentist did his exam I was told that both children needed an orthodontic consult immediately for braces to correct major issues. Conveniently his wife was the orthodontist and would be in the office the next day. So appointment 2 was scheduled for 11 am, the orthodontist saw them fairly soon after and told me they both needed braces, implying that their permanent teeth and jaws would be irreparably damaged if we didnt start soon. She left and her assistant came in, giving me a price and starting high pressure sales tactics to get me to sign so they could start. She offered payment plans and wanted to run my credit for a financing plan but would not let me see the terms or conditions for what she wanted me to sign. When I said I needed to discuss with my husband she told me I had to call him right then so we could start now. When I refused she told me to wait and she would "talk to the doctor to see what she could do" and disappeared for about 25 minutes, leaving us just sitting there. When I told the receptionist we needed to leave she said shed get the assistant, 10 minutes later they were still standing at the other end of the desk talking and no one had come back to address us. I got up and left, we went to a reputable dentist for a second opinion and were not only given a lower price even without insurance, we were told all the work would be STRICTLY COSMETIC, that there was nothing wrong with their teeth or jaws, and that they wouldnt even want to start until all their permanent teeth were in! So if you need basic cleanings and have LOTS of time feel free to use this office, they did do a decent job for that, but for any additional work make sure you really need what theyre saying you do, and get your prices up front before you let them start!

Went with my husband for an emergency work to be done on a Friday afternoon. They were the only place willing to take my husband and provide for him what seems to be needed to be done at the time. We were very thankful and happy for what seems to be a job well done. They gave us a document summarizing the work they will provide and the price for all that needed to be done (supposedly) for my husband: two crowns. We were recommended a specialist for the root canals part of the treatment. However, for the reasons that I explain here, we have come to the conclusion that we cant trust this dental care provider and we need another one. FIRST, the day of the emergency they didnt provide the right precription in terms of the amount of pain killers my husband will need for the weekend. My husband spent the weekend in scrucianting pain and it turns out we needed to present a hard copy of the prescription due to federal regulations (no doctor calls or faxed copies) for additional pain killers. SECOND, the temporary crowns were poorly cemented, they were loose and finally one of them broke. When contacted the dentist office about that, they suggested my husband to go to Walgreens and buy something to glue it back! THIRD, the dentist office administrative personnel sent the wrong service codes to the health company and were charged extra money. We spent weeks in bitter discussions with/between the health company and the dentists office, for the mistake to be corrected. FOUR, the day we came back for the crowns to be put in their place, we were told for the first time, that they needed to conduct a deep cleansing costing an additional $950! After asking them why this was not discussed before and not mentioned in the document they gave us the first day we came in, they adkusted the price and we were charged $520. Not only we were surprised by that additional charge, but we were told that my husband will need another 2 crowns and additional work in another tooth. The price for the new work to be done? Over $7,000!! We cannot trust them. Give us a break!
