The worst in my life, my mother was killed. She went to have liquid removed from her lungs, stayed there almost a week. They were able to do that, while her stay there they would over medicate her including with an injection on her tummy for quabilation of the blood. The day she is as going to be given discharge she was not recognizing us and speaking. That morning at 8am my dad got to the hospital and was trying to communicate with the doctor Roche to busy to respond or call back. At 1:30pm I got pissed because they Doctor attending her now left the office and til that time nothing was done to my mom to see why she was not speaking and recognizing anyone. From that day forward my mom started dedicating black, we question it. There respond was she was releasing all the toxins in her body. I refuse my mom getting any more medicine for several days until my mom gets better. Now is when it starts. After several days my mom finally recognized us and with effort started to speak. They started to remedicate her, my mom kept requesting not to and they instead she needed it to get better. My mom also would tell me they would give her medicine 3-5 times a day when people are not visiting her. I questioned the nurse, they denied that and said only 2. Times a day. Including the injection in her tummy was given more then once a day, that after her death I read that any patient taking that most be monitored very carefully because it can cause internal bleeding. 3 days after my mom got home she died. According to paramedics she had internal bleeding. So in other words. Since the day she couldnt recognize us she was dedicating black, that was a sign of internal bleeding. Which no matter how many times we asked if it was blood they said no it was toxins she needed to eliminate. Almost 1 month in the hospital and not 1 nurse felt the need to check if she did have blood dispite she was having hose injections given to her on her tummy. They killed my mother !!!!!

Forgetful, neglectful, unconcerned staff. Inadequate supplies, dangerously slippery showers with no shower chairs. Poorly trained staff who mixed up medications and didnt give them to the patient at all one day. Delayed pain management, and if you want to eat, make sure you have a long list of restaurants who deliver, because the food is inedible. Peeling paint, inoperable nurse call system from the bathroom. Antiquated intercom-like communication system that has a blasting speaker next to the patients bed, so whenever they are trying to find a nurse, every person in every bed gets an earful. Sheets only changed when requested. Only went here because our very skilled surgical team operates from this hospital. If youve got an emergency, go to Baptist down the street. Otherwise, youll find yourself in a line of gurneys in a freezing cold hallway with bleeding and suffering patients.

This has to be the worst hospital I have been to in my entire life. I felt as if I was in a third world country. Emergency room was the most depressing thing I have ever experienced. The entire staff looked, spoke and behaved as if they just came off of a raft, including the EMT. No one attends to you when you walk in, and the emergency room looks like a psych ward. The nurses/staff speak about the patients amongst each other in front of the patient as if they were not present. The staff exists through the emergency room at the end of their shift and they act worse then middle school kids on the last day of school; not even high school kids. They all stop in front of the emergency room to give each other kisses and laugh out loud before departing with no regard for the sick waiting to be treated. By far the worst hospital I have been to in my life.

I was attended today at Larking Hospital in 7199 sw 99 ave. It was the most horrible experence I had in my life. After arriving at 7:40 for an appointment at 7:45. It tool them an hour before they called me to fill out my paperwork. Then another two hours to do a ct scan which took three minutes. The office was very disorganized the staff was all walking around eating breakfast. The equipments looked like they were from the 70s. It was not clean. It was just terrible. I will never recommend this place to no one. I will also make sure that My Doctor which recommended to this place will never send any one their again.

My experience: I made a Saturday morning appointment by phone. When I arrived, there were about 20 people waiting. After a 1 1/2 hour wait, very few people had been called for imaging. I realized I would have to wait even more so I rescheduled for Tuesday 7:30 a.m. When I arrived on Tuesday a.m., there were just a few people waiting. Again, I waited an hour to be called by the technician. It seems they are either unorganized or very slow. I would not go back there again for imaging. Front desk receptionists are very nice and attentive. The technician was very cut and dry.

Very poor customer service. Made an appointment at 3 pm on 9/15/15. That same morning I called to reschedule for 3:30pm , I called again an hour before to confirm the change. Once I got to the Homestead facility I was told I will not be seen because they did not see any changes made to the appointment. While I was still there I called their main office and they clearly saw the change but I was still unable to be seen. I will NOT recommend this hospital to nobody

Visited the faculty, physicians and administration personally. They were some of the most thoughtful and respectful individuals Ive ever met. They take their jobs seriously, and are able to make everyone feel right at home since theyre a smaller hospital. But dont let their size fool you: they train over 250 residents and fellows each year, making them a significant contributor to United States annual pool of new practicing physicians. They are truly a rare gem.

I used the Emergency Room once, & NEVER AGAIN. What a horrible little hospital. You go into a very small cramped room with 6 or 8 other patients in beds and theres a guard by the door so you dont escape. Im a man & these 3rd world Bozos ran all kinds of blood tests on me including a pregnancy test. These guys just want the $$$$$$. My very short visit cost me $500 & I have insurance!!! Bunch of thieves.

Flies in 3 different rooms, all rooms we were moved to, and cafeteria. Some are great nurses but there are too many incompetent ones. Not a nurse, but constantly pointing out mistakes. Some life threatening ones like 10" of air in IV line or seeing the wrong name in a medication hanging from my husbands IV. Its just a disaster. The CNAs were a dream just very thoughtful and compassionate.
