For starters, the environment and treatment I received was rude, rushed, and unprofessional in regards to Dr. Burstein & the 2 receptionists Zulma and the older lady… It is a long review, but it may help someone. I visited this clinic a total of 3x, not by choice the last 2x. On the first visit: the front desk receptionist asked me for typical things such as DL, IC, and so on. I explained to her why I was there and that the paperwork had been faxed over 3-4 days prior. Bottom line she could not locate the paperwork when needed “due to the other receptionist Zulma placing the papers in a magical place”?*. After I made a phone call to the person who faxed the forms initially, they mysteriously reappeared behind the counter somewhere*. The doctor (called the weekend doctor by a lady that worked there) I saw on my first visit and the nurse was very polite, attentive, and professional!! The first physician I saw was not Burstein. 2nd Visit: I went for a "follow up" because my condition was getting worse and the pain was uncomfortable. The “weekend” doctor I had seen on my first visit was not working that day. The front desk clerk Zulma? stated she didnt have any paperwork or information for me despite the fact that I was just in that same clinic a few days earlier. Once in the room I could hear the Dr. Burstein on the phone having an intense conversation with a pharmaceutical company (I guess), they discussed several things! He had his office phone on speakerphone I could hear borderline arguing over the phone. I had to sit and listen to that conversation approx. 1hour finally, he walked into the room, rushing and talking fast, he asked me why I was back. I told him the initial Dr. said if the pain was too much to come back ASAP! Dr. Burstein then stated, “I dont have MRI vision "! I responded and said, “Sir I understand you don’t have MRI vision Im not sure what to do” He said “What you want so more pain meds? I will give you want you want at this point, what you want me to do about it?" His voice tone, mannerism, and attitude were vulgar and cold. As I was describing my pain, he was almost argumentative with me. Outside in my car I scanned over the papers and noticed the information was not correct, I was given the wrong I assume someone else’s documents. As I walked through the door, Zulma had her hand out reaching for the papers. At the same time, she was on the phone saying “Oh it wasn’t her report, well she just came back in with the papers.” I asked was she on the phone with Dr. Burstein and she said: “YES (in a nasty way!) He just left but will be right back, and he will have your paperwork ready in 10 mins.” After about 20 mins Dr. Burstein stepped out with paperwork for another patient in the waiting room. He saw me and said: “YOU STILL HERE? what you need, I told you I would fill out your paperwork and fax it!!” I responded “Yes I have to get a copy of the paperwork before I leave. Did you know I was out here waiting on you?” He said, “You going to have to wait!” 3rd visit: was dysfunctional front desk receptionist asked what the follow-up was for?? I gave her my name praying that she would just look my info up! Once Burstein entered the room he was FAST TALKING, RUSHING, and was NOT attentive with me or my concerns!! He didn’t try to answer any of my questions. In short, my goal isn’t to deter anyone just to express what happened to me. NO “professional” has the right to treat people in such a rude, unsympathetic, and unprofessional way. I live in Cape Canaveral, but I will never go back there, refer anyone nor will I take my children. I am a graduate student with a 4.0 GPA, a mother, and full-time employee with over 7 years of customer care knowledge. I could only imagine what other people have experienced. Please be mindful of who you entrust your medical care. Etiquette, patient care, or customer service training? Please do not insult my intelligence by doing so in a manner that would be condescending or manipulative if you decide to respond. Thank you.

While on vacation, my daughter came down with a bad illness with a high fever. I called this center at 6 pm on a Saturday after finding their listing on Google that referenced they were open till 7pm, daily. They told me they take their last patient at 6:15 pm (so take note of that), but I explained I had a child that was sick and asked if they could take us if we were there by 6:45. She really nicely agreed and we were there by that time. They had my paperwork ready for me and expedited everything so they could close on time. The nurse was seriously the best pediatric nurse we have ever had, anywhere. She worked to make my daughter feel comfortable by giving her a stethoscope to play with (a real one!) and explained in great kid detail everything she was doing in terms my 6.5 year-old could understand. The doctor was very thorough and nice, though he did make me a bit uncomfortable at times. I appreciated that they accommodated us so quickly and did not rush us through the process. We were out by 7:15, with a script in hand. If youre from out of town, they are in a strip mall - my GPS had me all confused, as there is a lot surrounding them. They are also not called "ABC Urgentcare," although "URGENTCARE" is a big sign on the building, so dont let that throw you.

Let me start with the few pros The: lady at the front desk and the doctor were both very kind. 1. The lady at the front desk, Zooma, was very friendly and polite. 2. Dr. Burstein seemed very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that made sense. 3. It was cheaper and quicker than it would have been to go to the ER, and I was able to just walk in without an appointment. Cons: 1. The cleanness, or lack thereof. - Floors and walls appeared dirty. The nurse did not wash her hands, wear gloves, or clean the blood pressure cuff in front of me. While this does not mean it was dirty, how do I know if it is clean? What if it just came off of someone with a rash? 2. The nurse, emily? amalie? was very abrupt and rude toward me. She did not seem to care at all about anything but getting out of the room or getting me out of there

Worst place for urgent care ever! Went there on 12/31/15 for a sinus infection. Their "15 minute wait" was 2+ hours. I sat there for 1 hour 10 minutes and the receptionist was still telling walk-ins the wait was 20 minutes. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything said to the patient in the next room. I knew I had a sinus infection. Mr. Frizelle, ARNP (Nurse Practitioner) insisted on a strep test, which the nurse administered without washing her hands or wearing gloves. The test came back negative (no surprise to me) and Mr. Frizelle sent me on my way with advice to use a neti pot or take benadryl. I suffered through the rest of my vacation then returned home to Chicago to get treatment for, as I knew, a sinus infection. The trip here was a 3.5 hour waste of time!
