Terrible, went because I was feeling terrible and my mom recommended I come here. Diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, received no antibiotics and told to come back in 4 days if not feeling better. Feeling worse today, no voice. My mom calls because I cant talk and is told that I have to wait since Dr Schwaid, DO, felt an antibiotic wasnt necessary at this time and to come back for a follow up visit. BTW a second visit will be another charge ($30 co-pay). Moms comments: I called to question no antibiotics for an infection and was told the doctor didnt feel it was necessary at this time; however, they could provide a note for work absence (ridiculous, that wont pay the rent). Our family doctor recommended CentraCare because they have doctors on staff; have used the Bloomingdale location and not had this quack diagnosis/treatment when I or my kids were sick. Im not one to advocate antibiotics just because, but when I hear infection to the respiratory tract I dont mess around (I had pneumonia once for putting off similar symptoms). I have to say, this will probably be the last time our family goes to a CentraCare clinic if thats the type of mindset they have. I need a MD not a DO (Osteopathic Physician) that is going to say, come back at a later date if you get worse and cost us another insurance charge and co-pay.

When I first arrived I asked the receptionist if she can make sure that they accept my insurance (which is blue cross blue shield) before we even start any other paperwork. I am a grad student and on top of the expensive copay I cannot afford to pay a medical bill. After the receptionist finished typing in the insurance information, I made a point to ask the receptionist again if everything went through okay….she said yes. So I paid the 40 dollars co pay and saw the doctor. 3 weeks later I received a bill from centra care for 116 dollars….I called their financial personnel, was rudely helped and was told that the manager will call me back. I have not yet received a call back and its been almost a week. THESE PEOPLE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK….I will do my best to contact BBB but since they are UNACCREDITED BY BBB…I highly doubt they will do anything. Definitely be careful with these people, because although they have a lengthy list of acceptable insurance companies their doctors ARE OUT OF NETWORK and your insurance company would only pay a portion of your 323 dollar doctor visit.

Let me first start by saying that I have never before taken the time to review a product, service, restaurant, etc.. but we were so impressed by the facility and care we received that I wanted to say thank you! We visited the South Tampa Centra Care in January of 2016 on the way from the beach to Disney. The facility was very clean and we were able to get right in. Dr. Oluwatoyin Falodun was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable as were the nurses and staff. We were able to get a prescription called in to a pharmacy at Disney so we could continue on with our vacation as planned. Several days later we even received a call from the clinic following up on the progress of the treatment. Then when our luggage was lost on the flight home (along with the antibiotics) it only took one phone call to get another prescription for the remaining dosages called in to a pharmacy at home. Thank you so much for helping us divert a Disney disaster with a sick child!

From the time I walked into Centra Care to the time I left I was treated with compassion. I wish I would have asked the front desk receptionist her name, but I was so sick I did not have the energy. She was so kind and asked me if I wanted some water. She said to me I see you are very sick and I will get you to the back as soon as I can. I was very appreciative of the care I received on that day. Thank you!

The staff were warm and friendly. We were taken back to see the doctor in an efficient manner. The doctor himself was knowledgeable and helpful - he made sure we understood what was going on and how to deal with it. I would recommend this location highly!

The service was reasonably quick, but the main problem with this place is that it is very expensive. The bill amounted to 239 (with insurance with the deductible not met) for a visit, which is more than 3 times what other ventres are charging.

My overall experience has been good from the front office with Tina to the Back office with Nurse Dennis down to the Good Doctor Jenkins she is very Detailed i would recommend my family and friends here very clean and nice.
